Itâs... Rice?
People all over the world have made it in many ways with tangs to it or just plain served with other fancy things. Rice is one of the many food spotlights⌠when itâs seasoned. I have grown up eating rice ever since I could hardly chew. Whether itâs brown rice, white rice, mixed rice, rice with grains, or rice with beans, I have tried it all. That first time I tried it was a charm. But when I tried fried rice for the first time, I was stunned at how stark of a difference there was between regular rice and seasoned rice. From then on, I thought of regular rice with a much lower standard... until I forgot how fried rice tasted because it had been, say, six months or so and I was quite young at the time. Iâm pretty sure most people can relate to the point that toddlers and young children have much shorter attention spans and can hold memories for a much shorter time. So, back to the point. Plain rice was pushing its way to the top. That is, until I tried fried rice AGAIN. Plain rice had lost its fight.
I think that plain foods and drinks, such as white bread, white rice, and maybe even maize and water lose importance as you eat or drink them more and more and more. So, a question arises: What if you eat or drink something fancy, say sushi or, like in the previous example, fried rice, or coffee/sweet teas/sodas/juices, as often as you eat your staples? I believe that those foods and drinks will lose importance as well. Maybe you can try it yourself...

Outfits, Outfits, Outfits...
I was walking the dog one day. It was six forty in the morning and it was winter, so I was cold. I unknowingly wore my pajamas because they were still warm, which had a hole in the knee, to the walk. I walked for about thirty minutes. Only towards the end of the walk did I notice what I was wearing. A moment later, a car drove by. I found myself turning away to hide the hole at the very least. Now, all I can think about is what the driver was thinking about what I was wearing. I was SO embarrassed, to the point where I still scream into my pillow thinking about it today.
I enjoy wearing a gray shirt with red and white print that says: âColorado Springsâ with black shorts and a black cap for two reasons: They look good with each other. and... I like the shirt because it actually came from a small shop in Colorado Springs. I wear it whenever all three of them arenât in the laundry. Sometimes, I will wear it a couple of times. I just try to enjoy what I wear.

I Remember...
I remember the bright light of the morning that just gets you every day.
I remember the concert fright right before you are about to perform your hard work and stress to a crowd of 900.
I remember circular pathways that return back to where you started on my morning jogs and math homework.
I remember the way that certain people talk to you when they are trying to inform you that they are getting annoyed.
I remember the breathtaking views that one can see far from home.
I remember those fateful moments when everything seems to be out of order.
I remember the moments where I see water but all I step on is asphalt.
I remember drinking out of an empty cup thinking that there is something in it.
I remember getting stuck over and over on something that is easy so much so that a two year old can do it.
I remember making mistakes that I regret and continue to reflect and criticize myself about. I tell myself: âIt could have gone better. I should have done this.â
I remember throwing the ball, thinking I would make the target, but only to my despair, the ball was lost.
I remember being next to the one thing I hated the most and doing nothing about it.
I remember thinking to myself: âI wish I could stop remembering these moments.â

Gergiev
From the podium, the people watch as he conducts far and wide, from many places. His great life started from a single piano lesson. He humbles the other conductorsâ batons with a toothpick or nothing at all. His great life was filled with social and political obstacles in the country he calls home. He conducted first at a young age, and rose to fame quickly for his passion for music. How he loved the ups and downs, the twists and turns of the music he loved. He emphasizes music despite the criticism he receives. His influence reveals itself.

Reflection on Family History - Free Form
The shrapnels litter what were the streets,
The homes, the parks,
The schools, The shops,
No people were in the biggest towns,
Everywhere was a plain of debris for miles around.
People come back to find blood and wood scattered around what used to thrive.

Someday, I Will See the Light - Free Form
Someday, I will see the light,
The light at the end of my toil,
A day I wait for with anxiety,
The strength of the power of the forces is overwhelming,
Someday, I will enjoy the fruit of the tree,
The light of the sun reflects on its branches,
Shining directly into my eyes.
The light looks for those to draw to them,
But those who follow only find despair.
The way of the one who reaches the light is to look towards the darkness,
With the desire only to fall in their path,
They will be drawn without their knowing to the light and the tree.
Where the darkness begins is where I follow,
Only hoping for the end to my despair.

Poem from Music Video
Flying through the snow with excitement,
Running through the woods,
Walking through the desert,
Destroying whatever gets in the way.
The agonizing shock of those who watch,
Anger from below marred the ground,
The solemn nothingness left the ground dry beyond whatever was imagined.
What more does the nothingness destroy,
Let not the anger from below cause peril,
Let not the anger from below abscond from justice.

Persona
Sometimes I send the wrong message to the people deserving a better day,
Sometimes I make a typo and change the meaning of my emotions
Sometimes I send the wrong message.
I can cause a divorce and a fire to start,
I can destroy entire civilizations with a few swipes of a finger.
I can start wars.
But I also can send the right message,
I can cause a reunion, the saving of lives,
I can help rebuild entire cities from the dust with a few swipes of a finger,
I can end wars.
There are better or worse days ahead,
And for the most part, I determine them.
