this video is really interesting. 

People need to understand that this performance wasnt the /best/ but it was his first and he was nervous. He made mistakes but thats understandable. Also it was free and he didnt over hype it. overall George is getting better and growing bigger and hes going to make mistakes along the way and shit. So dont bash him for em, let him learn from em.

     George “Joji” Miller, is a independent musician based out of New York. He has an upcoming album titled Chloe Burbank (yet to have a release date)

     You may know him as his YouTube character, Filthy Frank (yeah. It’s the same guy) who is basically the cataclysm of the 21st century. Also known for popularising the Harlem shake (yes, That Harlem shake)

    When not releasing funny/satirical music as another Filthy Frank universe character- Pink Guy, he releases under the names Joji and recently, PinkOmega, and in total honesty both his satirical and non satirical releases are enjoyable. 

    No matter if he is rapping while making a comedic culinary video, or about how great he is, there is a notable level of cleverness to be noted in his lyrics. This and his chill, laid back style comes out to deliver a unique and more than pleasant listening experience. And hell, you gotta give credit to someone who says stuff like “I swear I’m fucking with more bonds than Bill Nye” (Jungle Boy pt.1)

     White is Right (Pink Season) is actually hilarious if you understand the set up and intentions of his character. Actually… this applies to everything he releases as under this name. The various characters in the filthy frank universe (namely Frank and Pink Guy) are MEANT TO BE AS CANCEROUS AS THEY ARE. His characters reflect how easily anything wacky/zany on the internet can gain traction and are basically a collection of all the terrible things about people and humanity, amplified and put into one person, making those qualities show through as ridiculous (as they are in real life, but some people dont seem to understand). This reaches out to the music he releases with these characters as well. Not in the sense of “It’s not real music” but its music with different purpose than his releases as Joji/PinkOmega (As he says himself, all music is real music. Just some might be funny) Someone who can state this far more eloquently than I can is Neil Z. Yeung.

   “Pink Guy’s 2016 release, Pink Season, topped download charts and climbed to number 76 on the Billboard 200. Featuring songwriting by Miller and production from Josh Pan, RyanJacob, and Holder, Pink Season included tracks primarily influenced by trap rap, but also added ukulele ditties and downtempo electronic (reflecting his more serious songwriting when performing under the Joji moniker). At turns tasteless, offensive, and sophomoric, Pink Season also highlighted Miller’s satirical wit, delivering biting statements regarding race, politics, and culture.”

   There’s not a crazy amount on him and a lot of his music as Joji is no longer present on SoundCloud, though it can be found on various YouTube mixes, playlists and videos
