My opinion
Hi reds first of all I would like to let yous all know this will be my last post for a period of time as I am taking some time out just for a short break so I thought what better way to finish my blog than to give a conclusion on everything I have spoke about over the past 3-4 weeks and give my final opinion on how Liverpool are doing everyone will have their own thoughts on the team and that's completely fine however here is mine.
So first of all I will once again say that without a doubt this season isn't going our way for many reasons and for all teams we can al agree the season isn't a normal premier league season. This is for many reasons as I have stated in the past but the main difference this season for all football clubs is the devastating fact that there are no fans in the stadiums due to the ongoing pandemic. However I personally feel that this has effected Liverpool really badly as the fans in the stadium are our 12th man as they would say, usually if we go a goal down the fans are there to sing and spur the team on which 9 times out of 10 means the team go on and get the win however with no fans in stadiums the team seems to be lost at sea when there on the park and we go a goal down. I will also add in that I don't think that is an acceptable reason for the players not to be winning games as every team is going through this problem.
One of the reasons I will say is causing Liverpool to preform poor is the injury list I wont go into to much detail about it as I have done so in the last posts but I 100% feel losing all these players during the season and not being able to get a settled starting 11 would effect any team in the world.
Even though the season has not been as good as last season and we are sitting 6th in the league, I personally feel along as we get top four this season and maybe just maybe win the champions league this season which is 100% in our reach as we have one foot in the quarter finals, If we can do that then I will be satisfied with the season and proud of the team for getting through a very difficult season/year both on and off the pitch.
see you soon reds stay safe

what's next for Liverpool
Hi reds, so where do I begin Liverpool's season defending the trophy is looking more and more unlikely to end with us at the top of the table which is very disappointing however I am seeing a lot of so called fans and supporters looking to pin the blame on the manager Jurgen Klopp and are asking for him to be sacked and questioning is he the right man for the job. My opinion and most fans opinion is that YES he is the main man for the job he has took us to the champions  league trophy and also the premier league title no other manager  could have done a better job than this man. If we look at what has happened this season we can all agree its not been a normal season in many ways with the fans not being in the stadium to cheer the team on and also our absolutely  shocking injury list which I spoke about last week I feel that both of these have played a massive part in our performances this season.
Tumblr media
However as I always say we must stay positive and try and get something out this season we still have some things to look forward to such as the champions league run which we are still in one game away from the quarter finals and have a 2-0 lead to take back to Anfield so we are in a great position to try win the cup again.
On to the premier league we are sitting 6th the now which doesn't look good however there is only 16 points between 1st in the league and us in 6th so even though it doesn't look like we will win the league this season our aim is still to finish in the top 4 so that we can bring European football back to Anfield next season. However never say never after all it is the premier league and for the time being we are still champions so if anyone can cause an upset we can reds.
until next time stay safe

What does the future hold
Happy Wednesday reds nearly time for the champions league game against    RB Leipzig and I'm sure we can all agree it is going to be a hard game. However today I want to focus on some of our younger players and also how some of our past players are getting on as I feel all I have spoken about is how disappointing this season is I think looking at the future of the club and reminiscing about good times of the past will give us something different to read today.
so lets start by discussing some of our younger players as its been a big season for some of them with all the injuries that the club have had this season they have been given an unexpected run in the first team in some tough games. Players such as Neco Williams and also Rhys Williams both defenders who have in my opinion played very well in the games they have played in considering the circumstances, yes they have made some mistakes but even the most experienced have bad days at the office overall for me I would say both these men get an 7-8 out of 10 from what I have seen of them so far and with the right development plan and game time they will be very good players.
One more player I need to mention is Curtis Jones who in my opinion is an amazing player for his age considering 2 seasons ago he was not getting much game time and now he is a regular player in the starting 11. Without a doubt he is  a player  we need to keep going forward into next season.
one player who has been loaned out this season his young Harvey Elliot who is on loan at Blackburn rovers. I personally feel this move has benefitted the young player as he has had a good impact for Blackburn by scoring 4 and assisting 8 in the last 22 games so hopefully his development keeps coming on strong and we can hopefully one day see him in the starting 11 for the mighty Liverpool .
Finally lets speak about one player we sold last year and personally I wish we still had him especially with our defensive issues this season and the player is Dejan Lovern, yes he made mistakes however overall his time with us was a success and he won his fare share of trophy's so his CV backs him up for anyone thinking of signing him. Even though he is not with us anymore he his playing well and loving his football in Zenit so I wish him all the best.
To finish up I would like to wish Jurgen Klopp and his team all the best in there last 16 champions league game this week and hopefully bring home a good result which we are still capable of doing.
until next time fans stay safe.

Injury packed season for Liverpool
HI reds and welcome back to my blog in todays blog I'm going to give an update on players that are injured for the club and also how long we will be without them for. Due to the amount of injuries we as a club have had there's no doubt tit will have taken an effect on how we play on the pitch with some of our key players out for some time.
Lets start with the biggest problem we have had this year due to injury and it is non other than or leading centre back Virgil Van Dyke since coming to Liverpool from Southampton he has been a stand out player for Liverpool and a key player in our champions league winning season and also the premier league triumph. He has sadly been out of action since the Liverpool vs Everton game at the start of the season due to damage his ACL this has impacted Liverpool's performances both physically and I believe mentally,  however he is expected to come back within the next month so the future is looking bright for our defensive issues.
If you think Virgil Van dyke being injured is the worst it could be for Liverpool then turn away now because it gets a lot worse very fast with the likes of players still injured such as Naby Kieta out for another month ,  Joe Gomez still out for 2 moths , new signing Diego jota still injured for another month and finally Joel matip out for up to 6 months still. these are just a list of the players that are still injured however below is a list  of players who have had injuries through out the season and returned thankfully.
3 days ago: Alisson Becker returned after 5 days out injured (Illness)
4 days ago: Fabinho returned after 11 days out injured (Muscle)
22 days ago: Joel Matip returned after 24 days out injured (Groin)
46 days ago: James Milner returned after 29 days out injured (Hamstring)
53 days ago: Joel Matip returned after 7 days out injured (Back)
55 days ago: Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain returned after 122 days out injured (Muscle)
67 days ago: Trent Alexander-Arnold returned after 29 days out injured (Hamstring)
67 days ago: Naby Keïta returned after 14 days out injured (Hamstring)
78 days ago: Mohammed Salah returned after 12 days out injured (Covid)
82 days ago: Fabinho returned after 25 days out injured (Leg)
95 days ago: Joel Matip returned after 22 days out injured (Muscle)
110 days ago: Alisson Becker returned after 22 days out injured (Muscle)
120 days ago: Xherdan Shaqiri returned after 10 days out injured (Covid)
122 days ago: Sadio Mane returned after 10 days out injured (Covid)
126 days ago: Joel Matip returned after 18 days out injured (Muscle)
127 days ago: Thiago Alcantara returned after 9 days out injured (Covid)
130 days ago: Jordan Henderson returned after 14 days out injured (Muscle)
136 days ago: Joe Gomez returned after 8 days out injured (Muscle)
180 days ago: Jordan Henderson returned after 38 days out injured (Knee)
221 days ago: James Milner returned after 11 days out injured (Muscle)
As you can see Liverpool have not had the best of luck with injuries this season and haven't had a great run like last year in the premier league however we need to take into perspective that for half the season we have been half a team and yet still sitting in 4th place and still have wins over the likes of Tottenham who we beet in both fixtures this season and also wins over the likes of west ham ,crystal palace and wolves so even though this season hasn't gone as well as we would have hoped for there is still a determination from Klopp and his men to achieve something this season.
so lets just keep calm and support the team we all love

Liverpool 1-4 Manchester City
Hello Liverpool fans, last nights defeat for the reds just topped off how our season is going. After last nights result Manchester City now go 10 points ahead of last years champions with a game in hand which doesn’t make for good reading however staying positive is a must for the team to try and bounce back from our latest results which see us go 3 games at Anfeild without a win.
In the first half of the game both teams were playing pretty much the same way (defensively) however when the teams came out for the second half Manchester City manager pep guardiola made positive changes to the away side and as we see by the result it paid off however Liverpool goalkeeper Allison Becker gifted them with 2 opportunities which handed the away side there 2nd and 3rd goal. Although give credit to Manchester City they were the better team overall on the night.
This result and the results in the past few weeks show that Liverpool’s defensive injury’s are having a big part to play on this season. It seems to be every week Liverpool step onto the pitch there is a new defensive issue to to a player being injured. Now with Manchester City 10 points at the top it’s going to take a monumental effort from the team to successfully retain the championship they won last season.
However it’s looking more and more likely that we will be happy and hoping for a top 4 position and a another champions league run this season.
Finishing on a positive note it’s looking like our main defender and arguably one of the best defenders in the world Virgil van dyke will be back within 2 months. We are going through a rough patch at the moment as all good teams do but hopefully there is light at the end of the tunnel.
Stay safe reds.

The start of something new
As a Liverpool fan from Glasgow its not always easy to speak to proper Liverpool fans however with this blog I am hoping it will help the fans stay connected through the internet. For Liverpool the past 2 seasons have been monumental for the club, both for players and for the fans. Liverpool have reminded everyone what a great club they really are, However due to lockdown and the games being played behind closed doors a lot of the supporters feel as if they have been shut out from the football world and many fans wont manage to hear about what's happening in their club like the once did when they went to the pubs to watch the game or even better into the actual stadium to see the team play so hopefully this blog will help everyone keep up to date with what's going on in the club.
In this blog we speak about all things Liverpool FC from the the performances of players on the football pitch to the performances of the board of directors of the pitch. we will also speak about the massive injury blows we have had this season and bring you up to date news on how the new signings are fitting in to the club and let the yous know about how certain players we let move to other clubs are getting on.
During my blog I will also give my personal opinion and the opinion of some club legends on how Jürgen Klopp and his men are doing this season compared to the last few he's been in charge, Until next time Stay safe.🏆🏆
