Thomas Crane had brought many medals home as an Olympic athlete over the last 2 summer games. He had wrestled from a young age and qualified for the games at age 18 and just 6'2" in height. However, shortly after qualifying Thomas began to experience a prolonged and extraordinary growth spurt. By the time he walked with his team for the opening ceremonies he had already outgrown and reordered his Olympic uniform twice and stood at 6’10”. During his gold medal wrestling match against competitor Ashton Carbora one of his singlet straps snapped shortly before Ashton tapped out, rendering his 3rd set of uniform garments useless. He was measured at 7’2” directly following the medal ceremony.

In the following 4 years leading up to his second Olympic games Thomas grew and GREW at a furious rate! It was common for Thomas to outgrow his wardrobe every 5-7 days in the months that followed the Olympics. Shockingly the pace of his growth continued to accelerate to the point where Thomas was outgrowing his pants and shirts each day. When Thomas surpassed 18 feet in height the federal government granted him immunity from public indecency laws so that he wasn’t burdened with increasing clothing costs. He now lives his daily life in the nude. Thomas Crane showed the world why he earned his last name. The average person needs to stand on a crane to Talk to Thomas Crane!

By the opening ceremonies of his second Olympic games. Thomas had grown to a staggering 100 feet tall. Due to his massive and ever-growing frame. Thomas decided to participate in more events in his second games. He won gold in various track events including the 100 Metre sprint which he one in only a few long strides! The judges were never able to locate Thomas’ Discus, Shotput, or Javelin as they travelled too far. He was awarded gold. Thomas won gold in rock climbing by default because the wall only came up to his knee. He was also awarded gold in wrestling. Gold in swimming as his body was longer than the pool. Gold in basketball and gold in Volleyball. Thomas claims that winning gold in basketball and volleyball were his greatest challenges as he had trouble fitting in the stadium building to participate in the matches.

This photo was taken recently with Thomas posing at his family home… the location where he first measured himself at 6’6” shortly after his growth spurt began. Thomas is now nearing 200 feet tall and shockingly is STILL GROWING!

Max winced as he forced his slides on his growing feet. Coach made all the players shower wearing slides. Max had again forgotten to buy a new pair for his gym locker. His old ones were getting WAY too small.

The resort pool was nice and all... but Josh could stand in the deep end and still have his head exposed above the 8 feet deep water. He convinced his friends he was too big for the pool and to go swimming in the ocean instead!
