I mean he even says he's more in love with armand than he is with his mom. what greater compliment can you get from lestat

tbh i feel that lestats abuse towards louis and claudia in s1 is not only not out of character but also is going to be essential to telling the qotd story if akasha's motivations are going to be anything like the books. and I think that's going to be a point of growth for him. if they do it right his reaction to akasha appointing him king of male violence is going to be like his looks of horror at the trial but will stick even more and push forward his desire to do better. but ppl who just want to complain about how their pookie would never do all that aren't ready for that conversation

I don't know who needs to hear this, but you are not a better person than anyone else in the fandom just because you hate a character that other people like. Every single character is severely flawed. They all have their own issues and are horrible in their own special ways. I could write an entire essay on each character talking solely about their flaws and wrongdoings. None of them are "good people." So, it's ridiculous to me that people even fight over which characters are the "villains" and who are the "saints." None of them are either of those things and that is kind of the whole point.

We are all willingly watching a show about toxic vampires who haven't processed their centuries of trauma. None of them are the morally superior option. Once some of you realize and admit that your favorite character is also a shitty person like everyone else's favorite character, you will begin to have more fun with all this, I promise lmao.
