Camp Blood: Blood Moon
Tumblr media
1986, Crystal Lookout Point
"The moon looks full tonight!" Jeremy said as he pulled his Chevy up to the Crystal Look out Point. "It looks red too, that's kind of creepy." Marla said with a giggle. All of the kids at Lakeview High go to Crystal Look out Point to make out and what not. Marla looked through the windshield to see all of crystal lake below. "Wow you can even see the town and the diner from here." Marla gasped with a smile. Jeremy laughed "You really are new to this town." Marla smirked. "Gee what gave it away." She joked.
Nearby where three cars sit, a pair of loose eyes stare at the traveled ledge where all the high school kids are parked. "They come up here and do bad things, Jason" The pair of eyes heard a voice tell them. "Punish them!"
"I didn't know we have a drive inn movie theatre!" Marla gasped as she scanned the town, woods and lake below." Jeremy observed his date with admiration. "Would you like to go sometime?" He asked. "Wow I'm being asked out for a second date already!" Marla snickered. Then her tone softened. "Yes I would love to." She said as they both leaned in to kiss passionately. Jeremy caressed her tan face that is framed by her her black long hair. Marla is indenisian her and her family had just moved to this country and had moved to Crystal Lake three weeks ago. Jeremy, quarter back on the football team met her on her first day if school and he has liked her ever since. She is beautiful, she has huge brown eyes, Dark tan skin and long jet black hair.
In the red mustang a few feet over last year's Junior prom king and queen are making out in a messy fashion of course they have been together for a year that is. Julia's orange tank tops strap hangs away from her white shoulders as her red lip stick is smudged a little and her blonde curls have started to frizz. "Okay pause!" She snapped. Mike rolled his eyes as his girlfriend fixed her lip stick in the mirror of his car. He took his leather jacket off to reveal his bulging muscles under his tight red t shirt. "I think you love yourself more than you do me, Jules." Mike cracked. "I'm prom queen, Mike what do you expect?"
In a green van a few feet next to the red mustang a couple sits in the back with a lava lamp on, spinning pink and green lights all over the back can as the two of them sit cuddled up in a orange bean bang chair smoking from a bong. Both giggled as they took a hit. "Montey gave you some good shit!" Debra exclaimed. Shane shushed her as he laughed. Debra has shoulder length curls of brow hair and round wired rimmed glasses over her blue eyes with long eye lashes. Shane is the school's 'hippy'. Shane a Montey deal green to the whole school. "Sometimes I think your only with me for the green, Deb." Debra slapped Shane on the chest. "Am not!" Debra chuckled. "God make me sound like a dope whore why don't you!" Debra cracked. Suddenly the van creeked and shook. "Debra looked freaked. "Relax it's probably Mike and his prom queen messing with us." Shane said. "Oh Julia Carmichael?" Debras nose curled up when she said her name. No girl at Lakeview High likes her because she is a mean girl prom queen. She won prom queen last year's junior prom. "I think that new girl Marla will get senior prom this year, she is gorgeous with a huge GEE!" Debra giggled. "You're stoned give me that!" Shane demanded. "No!" Debra chuckled as she pushed the rear double doors of the cab open she ran out into the on the right side of the van with the glass bong. Shane sighed then crawled out after her. When Shane climbed he didn't see Debra. "Deb, if you break that I will throw you off the ledge and let the townies deal with your body!" Shane joked. He scanned the ledge where barbed wired fence borders off the ledge and then the woods behind all of the vehicles. He looks up at the red moon. He stares for a couple seconds. "Weird moon." He mutters as his blood shot eyes scan the sky. Suddenly a pair of hands grab him. He screams as his heart drops to his groin.
"Deb! You scared the piss out of me!" Shane said with a chuckle as he clutched his chest. Debra chuckled then held her lighter to the bong and made it crackle and pop and bubble. "Throw me to the town huh?" She snickered as she turned away from him to go back into the van her face drops as she drops the glass bong. It's shatters. Which gets Shakes attention. Debra' s blue eyes widen as she lost her buzz. "J-Jason!" She stammered. "No one cares about that worm head, you broke my-" Shane stops as he is right behind Debra to see huge tall bulky hockey masked Jason stand before both of them. "Either I'm stoned or Crystal Lake slasher is standing right in front of you." Debra nodded with a terrified expression on her face. Jason's slimey black gloved ha d grabbed Debra by the throat and lifted her off of her black ballerina flats as she kicked her feet and slapped at Jason's decomposed arm. "Deb, no!" Shane cried he punched at Jason's beefy back. Jason slung his free arm with the machete gripped in his fist, Shane lost his balance as he was knocked off his feet. He fell against the van. Jason turned his attention to Debra kicking and pleading. "Kill her Jason! She was doing drugs!" A voice told Jason. Jason looked out at the look out cliff that the front of the van faces. Then Jason hoists Debra into the air over the barbed wired fence. She kicked her legs and arms as she flew threw the air screaming, Debra began to fall she sees all the trees below as her glasses flew off her face and her hair flapped behind her. She let out one more scream before every bone in her body broke to peices as she landed on a rock, severing her spine.
Shane looked at Jason, terrified as he leaned against the van as his chest heaved up and down. "You can't be real." Shane muttered.
"Have you ever heard of the town legend about Jason Voorhees?" Jeremy asked. Marla shook her head. "I've heard of some place called 'Camp Blood'?" Marla said. "Yes, that's where Jason drowned in the fifties." Marla's eyes widened. "His mother was working in the kitchen when it happened." "That's whay i don't get about American camps for children they are so neglectful!" Marla said as she looked hurt. "Oh so you have heard the story." Jeremy assumed. "No I haven't, in India we all hear of neglect at American and Canadian camps all the time, and let me guess his mother took revenge? And the little boys soul probably stayed in limbo until he wouldn't die." Marla guessed. Jeremy's face looked astonished. "Okay so you have to be psychic!" Jeremy said as he looked very impressed. "No it's just we in India know a lot about the Mystical realm and like tonight is a blood moon, Jason for example would be free to roam without any release from anyone's help." Marla explained. "But yes his mother murdered two counselors then over six years ago Steve Christy tried reopening the camp but the mother murdered all but one, and that one decapitated Jason's mother." Jeremy explained. "That poor Jason must have seen the whole thing." Marla guessed. "Yes! That is how the legend goes!" Jeremy said excitedly. "Did he murder the counselor that killed his mother?" She asked. Jeremy nodded. "Well no one knows cause she moved into the Lakeview apartments and was never seen again." Jeremy explained as he is so intrigued by Maria's knowledge.
Shane pleaded with Jason. Jason grabbed Shane by his yellow buttoned up shirt and drug him towards the barbed wired fence.
"Jason murdered campers and counselors for five days and sic night's straight all around Crystal lake, then ironically a little boy killed him." Jeremy explained. "It was fate, not irony fate had to balance out what was done wrong." Marla explained. "So your saying Jason shouldn't have died?" Jeremy asked. "Either that or he shouldn't have been born at all to die." Marla explained. "Was Jason.... different?" Marla asked. Jeremy couldn't believe this. "Yes people say he was deformed he had a face only a mother could love." "Yes, it was unlucky luck as you all call it that his mother had him she must have been jinxed or cursed of some sort, the little boy that killed him and the female counselor that killed his mother was all a mirror." Marla said. "What do you mean a mirror?" "That female counselor was she a good person, liked kids and and pure?" Marla asked as she looked focussed. "I heard she was loved by everyone in town yes." "She was everything Jason's mother was suppose to be before he drowned, and the little boy same to Jason." Marla explained to Jeremy as he had a huge smile on his face.
Shane cried out as he was forced on his knees and Jason was forcing his face down. Shane tried to push himself away from the fence, digging the palms of his hands into the gravel.
"The little boy accidentally resurrected Jason a year or so ago when he was about our age." Jeremy explained. "If that is true then we should leave, a blood moon let's a spirit that is cursed at birth roam freely and he must be able to contact his mother as well." Marla said with fear in her eyes. "Marla it's all stories, Camp fire stories." Jeremy said in a soothing caring tone. "Did he not drown due to neglect?" Marla asked. "They say he did but he must've survived it if he lived to go on a five day massacre." Jeremy joked. "Its no joke Jeremy, there was a similar incident in India, they called her the woman in white!" Marla explained. "She died giving child birth, her son sake revenge and he ended up dying by the survivor at the hospital then they say the woman in white rose from her grave and murdered everyone that came near the hospital, there was blood moon like this and I saw her!" Marla said, "She killed my friend Rayla but no one believed me." Marla started to tear up as she stares out at the town below.
Shanes cries were cut off as his face was shoved down onto the barbed wire, it slice right through his open mouth. Jason let go of Shane as blood drizzled onto the gravel from bloody torn face. His arms lay limp on the gravel with blood on them as well from struggling to push up from the fence.
Mike sat frowning as Julia sprayed her curls of blonde hair. "Okay I am ready babes!" She called out. Mike rolled his eyes. "Congrats your tonight's blood moon prom queen." Mike said sarcastically. Julia put her arm on the console. "You don't have to be an asshole." She said dryly. "Poor you, you lost your hard on." Julia cracked. Suddenly an arm shot through the driver side window as glass showered Mike. Julia began to scream. Mike fought the gross decayed arm. Julia watched in horror as then a gleaming sharp machete shot right through and into Mike's left temple and the razor sharp point came out his right, shooting blood all over Julia's face. Now she really screamed as Mikes eyes stare at her in horror and his mouth lays open in a frozen scream. Julia shoves the car door open, the machete pulls out of Mikes skull. Mike's head hits the steering wheel, laying down on the horn. The horn echoes for minutes through out the woods and down to the town. Julia runs to Shane and Debra' s van. Her bloody hands slap the metal side of the van. "Help me!" She screamed. She doesn't see anyone in the passanger or driver. "Come on you stoned Ass holes!" She shouted. The. as she went around the other side of the van she sees at her feet, Shane his head is wrapped up in the barbed wire fence with blood dripping from the fence. But before she screamed she got a glance of someone laying down at the bottom of the ledge. "Debra!" She gasped as she saw her lay sprawled out and broken on a rock as she stares up at the sky.
"Did you hear that?" Marla gasped. Jeremy glances over at the mustang and van parked to their left. "Must be rough sex." Jeremy joked. He sees Marla is scared. "Come on now there's no blood moon thing!" Jeremy assured her. "Lets at least go check on them, please!" Marla said.
Julia turned to run, she runs around the van to see a tall hockey masked man blocking her from running to Jeremy's pick up. Julia kicked her high heels off as she started to the woods. "Fucking Jason Voorhees is not getting me!" Julia shouted. She never believed those nerdy stories but Mike, Shane and Debra are dead! Julia tripped before climbing into the woods. She pulled herself up on a tree limb then a hand grabbed her by the leg. She screamed out and stopped as she was jerked out of the woods, her back hit the gravel as she was being drug back towards the look out. She managed to pull her leg out of Jason's slimey grip. As she got to her bare feet she gasped as she stares into Jason's mask as he holds his blood stained machete up to the side ready to swing.
"Yes, Jason, kill her, her and her sinful vanity, spending hours in front of a mirror!" The voice told Jason. The machete sliced through the night air and then it severed Julia's neck, sending blood all over Jason's mask as Julia's severed head flew into the air like a basketball. Her blonde hair flew up with the severed head that finally landed.
Jeremy and Marla stopped by the mustang as something landed at Jeremy's feet. Both looked down to see a face staring up at them. Marla screamed a blood curdling scream as Jeremy realized it's Julia's severed head. Marla looks up to see what's causing the on going horn blow from the mustang. Mike's face laying down on the horn as the windshield is covered in his blood. Marla grabbed Jeremy as he stares in shock. "Lets get to the truck now!" Marla shrilled. They ran til they got to the truck and stopped to see the hockey masked man swung his blood stained machete by the truck and slashed the left passanger side front tire. "Is that... that?" "Jason Voorhees." Jeremy finished Marlas sentence with a whisper in awe. As Marla holds onto Jeremy's arm in terror they both stare at Jason in disbelief and terror. "Come on there's a trail that leads to the Lake over there!" Jeremy demands as he pushes Marla ahead of him as Jason watches them, his chest heaved up and down. His two black eye holes of his mask watch. "Kill the boy Jason! There's something about that girl I don't like!" The voice said.
Marla runs along the dirt trailed trail surrounded by the woods. The trail started going down a steep hill as Jeremy runs behind Marla. Marla stops to let Jeremy catch up and catch his breath. Jeremy stops by Marla and puts his hands on his knees. "He is real just like the woman in white." Marla said. "He's worse than the woman in white he's a machine." Jeremy explained. Marla glances around the woods that is lit up by the blood red moon. Jeremy stands up straight suddenly blood sprays Marlas face. She wipes it off with both of her hands. She looks down at Jeremy's chest as a razor sharp blood dripping machete juts out of his chest. He also looks down at his own chest as Marla's face is stained with blood. "Jeremy, no!" Marla wraps as she backs away. Jason pushes Jeremy off of his machete. Jeremy falls to a pile on the ground. Jason steps over his body. Marla starts to run as she glances off and on over her shoulder. She starts to pump her arms running. "Some body help me!" She screams as limbs and twigs scrape at her arms and face. She smacks them all away as she runs. She stops as she comes to a wooden sign that reads "Camp Crystal Lake one mile" as it points to the trail that leads to the right.
Jason stops before the sign to see Marla's red sneaker on the ground leading to Camp Crystal Lake. He starts that way. As Marla is hidden behind the tree behind the sign. She climbs out to watch him walk down the path. She reads the sign that points to the trail to the left as it reads "Town seven miles" Marla starts on her very long journey back to town as she leaves the bloody massacre behind at the look out Point. What does she tell everyone? No one will believe her just like the woman in white. Julia, Mike, Shane, Debra and poor Jeremy are dead. Julia was a mean girl and her perv of a boyfriend weren't her friends but they didn't deserve to die. Jeremy was the only guy that respected her. He would have been a great boyfriend. Marla started to silently cry as she walked back home. She knows her best friend Laura will believe her but she can't tell anyone she was there. Telling people Jason did it would get her locked up. She will just have to come back prepared and put Jason to rest once and for all.
Hey guys thank you for reading. This is a sample sneak peak of my series Camp Blood. Jason is back and he is waiting...
