This whole interaction between Touya and Toga is so wholesome and makes my heart warm, especially because it shows the way Touya comforts his comrades, even though he doesn’t admit it.

“I’m only kind because I want Endeavor to suffer” yk damn well it’s not just that, he cares for Toga, in his own way. The fact that he burned her house that symbolised her past life and everything written in it reminding her that she is a “demon”, Touya burned it all to ashes and encouraged her to keep smiling

He pretends to not care, that he does everything just for the cause and his revenge against Endeavor, but his actions show otherwise and I’ll die on that hill.

I am entirely sure his tear ducts were never “burned” as he claimed, it was clear that Touya hated whenever his tears came out and wanted to stop crying, so he probably “taught” himself to always hold back tears and never cry for anything, and instead he shed blood out of his scars whenever he was emotionally overwhelmed. But this time he couldn’t keep himself from crying anymore, the way his voice breaks and wishes for everyone including himself to die it makes my heart hurtt
