About a decade ago I came across the website of Koji Nishino; more specifically a fictional pro wrestling promotion called UGR (undergroundring). The character design caught my eye and even though I only had the crummy 2008-era Google Translate to work with, I was impressed that he even had the entire season of events planned out, and even animated some of the signature moves.

Unfortunately a few years later the website had vanished. As for why, I imagine Nishino had more professional commitments at the time. Which was a real shame as I thought this would make for a great manga/anime, since there really wasn’t any that done a more serious take on pro wrestling (at least at the time). I managed to snag as many assets as I could (thanks to the Internet Archive) and had planned to someday make my own mirror, and eventual translation, of the UGR website.

Anyway, 10 years later, looks like Koji Nishino is working on a manga of UGR! Looks like it’s being published on the web, hopefully it gets some outside recognition like One Punch Man. The art and the action look amazing. Hopefully the less-crummy Google Translate app can help me read this.

The Legend of Zelda Redux: Enemies In high school, I had tackled my biggest project to date, a complete redesign of all enemies, principal characters and bosses from Nintendo’s 1986 classic, The Legend of Zelda. That was between 2009 and 2010, but now that it’s 2016 I’ve since graduated art school and am working as an illustrator, so I thought to try my hand at it once again with my newfound sensibilities. Instead of only doing character shots, I wanted to immerse each character in a distinct environment, as well as expand the project to include all the NPC’s and some other pieces, yet to come! DISNEY HAVE STOLEN MY ARTWORK

I don’t know what to do. I am so upset. Can anyone help me?

My painting was created back in 2010, (see it HERE) and since then so many people have expressed their love for it, not just on tumblr, but in many places. At least 9 people had it tattooed on their bodies. It’s one of my favourite images I created at University and I was proud of it in many ways.

Disney have used it on a cosmetics bag HERE (look at the back) and they have produced a Tshirt HERE with a really similar design clearly modeled from my painting

I’m so mad because I have no chance at getting Disney to do anything about it. I had so much respect for the company and now I am just SO upset and disappointed.

Any help, advice or signal boosting would be amazing. And thank you so much to the kind person who messaged me about this.
