Prayer Series: Why God Doesn’t Answer some Prayers. We can feel very hopeless when we think God answers other prayers but not ours. Are their things that hinder God from hearing us in prayer? The answer is yes and I will give you the scripture for one of them.
1. Its simply not His will. 1john5:14 -Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.
example: I liked this girl I met in church and prayed all the time for her to like me but actually the more I prayed the less she liked me. My friends all had girlfriends and I didn’t and the ones that liked me I didn’t like them. The one girl I was infatuated with married a friend of mine and as the years passed by I realized how horrible it would have been if God had granted my request and I had married her.
Billy Graham once said man has two problems and that is “not getting what he wants and then getting what he wants”. There is always a reason when God says know and we need to remember that “Father Knows Best”
Proverbs 3:5— Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; 6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. Sometimes God does not answer and it is because we are doing something that is hindering our prayers from being heard and when we correct that then our prayers are no longer hindered and can now be heard. We will be getting into what those things are in our future prayers series.

We can go to church our whole life and still feel like something is missing and we know God is the answer to our problems but it seems like there still is a empty spot in our hearts no matter how hard we try to be good. Many of those who were following Jesus were in that category. The light of the world had come down from heaven and was standing in front of them giving them the answer to life questions. Sadly some love the darkness more than they loved the light. Jesus said He was the Light of the world! John 12:35-38 35 Then Jesus told them, "You are going to have the light just a little while longer. Walk while you have the light, before darkness overtakes you. The man who walks in the dark does not know where he is going. 36 Put your trust in the light while you have it, so that you may become sons of light." When he had finished speaking, Jesus left and hid himself from them. 37 Even after Jesus had done all these miraculous signs in their presence, they still would not believe in him. NIV In Isaiah 55:6-Bible us to seek the Lord while He is near and call upon Him while He may be found. There are special times where that light is revealed to us. We are to take seriously the words of Christ, while we have opportunity we need to respond to the light before the darkness overtakes us and the light is no longer seen. Lets Pray: Father you said for us to let your light shine through our lives so that all would see that light and glorify our Father in heaven. Help us to follow you with all our hearts and not to hold onto anything that would keep from doing that. Put within our hearts a deep hunger and thirst for your righteousness and strengthen with the power of your Spirit to do your will through our lives. Please share with others if you like this post. Whether we want to or not It seems impossible to live life without having enemies at one time or another. Some we choose to make our enemies and others choose to make us their enemy. Usually our enemies don’t like us and given the chance to make life miserable for us they probably would and do. It could be someone that is related to us. Someone that we work with. Could even somebody that goes to our church. It is these people in our lives that Jesus tells us how our actions and attitudes should be. It is important to remember that Jesus asks us to do things that only with his help can we do. Doing the Impossible Luke 6:27-36 27 "But I say to you who hear: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, 28 bless those who curse you, and pray for those who spitefully use you. 29 To him who strikes you on the one cheek, offer the other also. And from him who takes away your cloak, do not withhold your tunic either. 30 Give to everyone who asks of you. And from him who takes away your goods do not ask them back. 31 And just as you want men to do to you, you also do to them likewise. 32 But if you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them. 33 And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same. 34 And if you lend to those from whom you hope to receive back, what credit is that to you? For even sinners lend to sinners to receive as much back. 35 But love your enemies, do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High. Why is This Happening to Me God Many times we are faced in life with circumstances that cause us to question WHY God would allow us to go through what seems to be such unfair circumstances and there just seems to be no reason we can think of as to why this terrible thing is happening to us. But until we know where the trial is coming from we will not know how to deal with it properly.
Is it because the Lord is allowing it to accomplish some purpose in our live or have we done something which has brought it about and we are reaping something that we have sowed. Could be the evil one is causing it and we need the Lord wisdom and strength to overcome what Satan has intended for us.
If it is something the Lord is allowing it like the situation with Job in the (OT) where God was allowing Satan to do things that He could have never known at the time and it had nothing to do with anything Job had done wrong.We need to trust Him and not lean to our own understanding (Pro.3:5-6) in the trial and ask God for strength and comfort because God is faithful and will not allow us to be in a situation that is more than we are able to handle (1Cor.10;13) and as impossible as it sounds He will find a way to work it for our good. (Rom. 8:28)
If it because of something wrong we have done and we have brought it about as the result of our own actions then we need to ask God for forgiveness and if there is any action He wants us to take to make the wrong right then you do it and now you have done what God requires and you have made it right before God and it’s time to move on and put it behind you.. 1John1:9
If the evil one is one is trying to harm you then you need to hold your ground and do what Ephesians 6 says by using our Spiritual weapons that God has given us and realize that greater is He that is in you (Holy Spirit) than Satan who is trying to wreck your faith. (1John4:4) Remember Jesus said; “In the world you will have trials and tribulation but be of good cheer I have overcome the world”. Forgiveness The longer we live the more we will experience betrayal of friends and heartbreak of those who we have entrusted our hearts with and also people who do cruel things to us just because they choose to. Hurt turns to anger and anger turns to hate and hate is the cancer to our souls that slowly kills from the inside. Jesus has an answer for those of you who this has happened to. We can't do this by ourselves but with the help of God it can be done. The love God gives us is the answer to the hardened heart. Mat.5:43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, This is how God sets us free from those who have embittered our souls. Pray and ask His help and He will do it because it is His will. Those whom the son sets free are free indeed.ask God now to heal your wounded heart and bring peace to your soul.

Why Is My Christianity Not Working I thought I would post this counsel I just messaged someone who was really struggling. Maybe this is also for you today. Everything in our walk is based on our personnel relationship with Jesus. God says in the book of James that if we draw close to Him He will draw close to us. Thats a promise by Him. Staying in the bible daily and letting the Lord speak to our hearts and by prayer taking all of our burdens to Him and leaving them there while keeping in fellowship with those who are really walking with the Lord will ensure spiritual growth. God told Jeremiah when you seek me with your whole heart then I shall be found of you. If anyone or anything in your life is holding you back then ask God for strength to let it go and get rid of it now and you will see the strength of the Lord in your life and you will have His perfect peace as you keep your heart stayed on Him.

Are You Guilty or Not Guilty. When a judge in a court of law declares the defendant not guilty, all the charges are removed from his record. When God forgives our sins, our record is wiped clean. Jesus did for us what we could not do for ourselves by dying on the Cross and paying our debt of sin in full. That is why He said "It Is Finished". The debt paid in full for those who would accept this free gift of forgiveness and restoring of our relationship back with God.This was God's free gift that affects our eternal destination. Right now you can pray and accept God free gift of eternal life and forgiveness of sin by asking Christ to come into your life as Savior and Lord of your life. Pray this prayer: Jesus I accept your offer of forgiveness of all I've done wrong and want you to come into my life and be Lord of my life from this day forward. I want to know you and love you and I thank you for giving me this new life. Show me Lord how to walk with you in Jesus name I pray. To The wounded soul who has lost hope Life at times can seem so unfair. The more we try to do good the more bad things seem to happen to us and it has a tendency to harden our hearts and then we put up walls all around us so that people can't get through anymore and hurt us. Though we might have a lot of people around our lives we feel all alone and if there is a God why doesn't He see my suffering and come to my rescue. If this is you then Jesus has a simple answer that has life changing results. This message is just for you right now. Jesus Said-Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light. Jesus wants to be our strength in life difficulties and bear our burdens when life becomes overwhelming and we just want to give up. He loves us so much and right now He wants to heal and comfort you in all that you are going through.
Ask the Lord right now to heal your heart from all the pain you have inside and if you need to be forgiven for anything then ask Him to forgive you and then believe He will do what He has promised. We are to cast all our care upon Him the bible says because He Cares for Us.
