There’s a former Jehovah’s Witness on this season of The Bachelor. She talked about her religious trauma in a recent episode and didn’t mention the religion but I felt like I could tell just by hearing about her experience. I’ve seen fans on twitter call it a cult now and it makes me so happy that more people are seeing it for what it is and not just a weird harmless religion. Here’s a link to the full article.

just remembered at my jw grandma’s funeral the speaker was like she was so inspiring. she loved reading through the obituaries and sending brochures to the deceased’s relatives.
