Taehyung stans spent years calling him the most popular member of BTS, calling him the most successful, most impactful but when chapter two showed the whole world that instagram followers, likes and views don’t determine an artist’s success or relevance in the music world, these people couldn’t stomach it.
Chapter two was the most brutal reality check I have ever seen and it is clear that Taehyung stans are still in disbelief and in great denial because they only way they can try to make their fave seem relevant is to invalidate other people’s success and victimize their fave. They excuse their faves tankery by telling anyone who would listen that he is hated by his company and is sabotaged reason why he cannot do as good as others. “Organic” is the new term for flop because what do you mean you are clinging unto the term “organic” to explain why your fave can sell over 2 million in albums but cannot manage to go over 4 million streams on any song? What do you mean you are using “organic” to explain why your fave has 19 million followers on Spotify (the most followed BTS member) yet even 1/4 of those followers can’t stream his songs? What do you mean you brag about your fave being the most followed on instagram yet those even 2 million out if those 60+ million followers can’t stream his song? What do you mean you call others fraudulent but can’t explain why an album that sold over 2 million cannot get over 4 million streams for any song? This is “organic” to you? What do you mean you call others fraudelent when LMA is about to reach a billion streams without a single certification? That is organic to you?
It’s not that your fave is organic pookie, it’s that no one really gives a fuck about him outside of his face. It’s that his music style is not crowd pleasing so many people, even his fans don’t feel the need to stream his songs. The biggest mistake you made was failing to realize that people could be as interested as they can in Taehyung’s insanely beautiful face ( I admit he is gorgeous) but that doesn’t mean they would share that same interest in his craft. So instead of victimizing him and hating on others in other to make sense of his not thriving as much as you thought he would in one aspect of his life, accept that he wouldn’t thrive everywhere and do the best you can for him.
I know that misery loves company and because Taehyung has been so much of a disappointment to most of you who prided yourselves in his follower count and views and wholeheartedly believed that, those were the measures of success, you have no choice but to try to invalidate Jimin whom you believed was inferior to Taehyung and less successful than him but is proving to be so much more than you thought. I understand the need to mock something you wish to have but don’t and are bitter about it. I understand the need to try to highlight everything you consider a failure on his part so that you feel better about your fave not doing so well. Trust me I get it but doing all that won’t make your fave’s light shine brighter. The truth is, people can hate all the want but Jimin’s names would always come before Taehyung’s on most charts and there is nothing you can do about it.
No one breaks into an empty house and no one throws stones on an empty tree. Taylor swift is one of the most successful artists of this decade. She constantly sells out stadiums for tours, has best selling albums, gets massive streams but she is one of the most hated musicians too. People constantly get hit tweets dragging her, hit tweets with over 400k likes but none of this has ever stopped her name from being mentioned in the top. None of this hate has ever caused her an empty stadium on tours. None of this hate has diminished her success and relevance. The more successful you are or the more prospects of success one has, the more hate and vitriol they recieve so Jimin is in good company. People wouldn’t bother to hate on him so much if he was irrelevant. People make money from getting engagement on twitter and everyone knows that a quick way to get engagement is to mention Jimin so they do it. Stan tweet is not real life and this is proof…
This song is everywhere but people still get almost 400k likes posting stuff like this. Why do you think? Notice how these kinds of posts only come up when an artist is breaking records? Notice how no one is getting hit tweets dragging irrelevant people? Jimin is in very good company my darling so before you laugh at the fact that antis get hit tweets dragging him every on X, think about Taylor swift and Bruno mars who are world class famous and successful musicians who still get hated on. If Jimin had no impact no one would care and people only car to hate so much because they see his potential and it scares them so don’t laugh that Jimin gets hate, worry that no one cares about your “secret weapon” enough to drag him. What would they even drag, what achievements does he have to actually scare anyone? lol.
Taehyung stans keep calling Jimin fradulent or throwing out bot accusations but let’s not lie to ourselves. If you could bot your fave to success you would have done it too. No one is stopping you from being fraudulent, are they? No one is stopping you from botting your faves songs are they? Jimin is successful and people actually listen to his songs. You lot have enough money to mass buy his album and sell out his magazines in minutes, if there was a way to bot him to success, you 100% could have done it, don’t lie.
Keep crying about Jimin and talking about a 5 million drop even though your faves songs has literally never come close to 5 million streams ever. The more you hate, the more records and achievements Jimin gathers while your faves songs will continue in his mediocrity and irrelevance. When was the last time Taehyung’s name was mentioned when music was being discussed? When was the last time Taehyung’s name was mentioned when success was being discussed? EXACTLY.
Go keep following him on insta, mass liking his posts and mass viewing his videos and leave the serious business for people who know how to do it. It’s ok if he is an instagram influencer, that pays well too.
Don’t even get me started with the Taekook shippers on here. Not trying to be ageist but most of them are over 40 years old so one would think that middle aged people would have more to do with their lives and know better than imagine a romance in their heads and hating on another person for it but no, that is what they spend their time doing. Check Taekook tumblr, almost 80% if the bloggers are over 40 as well as their anons but these people spend their time hating on Jimin as if it is his fault Taekook don’t fuck each other. They have moved their hate from shipping hate to charts hate and all this because these sexually deprived women think Jimin has made some evil ploy with bang pd to sabotage and bring down Taehyung. I wonder what kind of sexual starvation would drive anyone to this level of delusion and the way you can tell most of them are neglected by the significant other or don’t have them at all which is why they resort to fetishising Taekook in the first place in a bid to feel that void they feel in their real lives. What you lot need is a therapist not shipping especially when this shipping turns you into bitter old shrews who spend your time hating on someone young enough to be your son. That’s just disgraceful and pathetic!

How the media describes Jungkook
Vs
How people who've met him in concerts and other places describe him
A giggly guy, so child-like, in both appearance and aura. (Except if he's not performing of course) He smells like flowers if you're closer enough.
How the media describes Jimin
Vs
How people who've seen him from a distance see him, in concerts or airports...etc
An intimidating guy, with a dark feminine like appearance and aura, until he actually smiles. He rarely does smile unless he's with someone who does make him smile or he sees something funny.
So with that being said, we can safely conclude that as much as Jimin laughs at everything, it just doesn't come out like just like that. He laughs randomly, but he also doesn't. He's quite picky, or choosy if I put it in the right manner.
He does look like it though, so I don't blame the people who actually say that about him. As for Jungkook, Jimin did mention once that Jungkook is cute, and that's why he liked him so much. And you know what else he said? The reason he likes Jungkook so much is he's so cute, but there's also a manly side to him that pops out of him unexpectedly, at times where Jungkook himself wouldn't even try to.
And Jungkook said, Jimin is such a cutie 😊🥰

NEW BIG HIT CEO
Big Hit has a new CEO: Shin Seon-jeong, the former head of Training & Development at Big Hit Entertainment.
https://m.newsen.com/news_view.php?uid=202411261501370410
She’s a long-time member of the company, having joined in 2010, and has been deeply involved with BTS since their early days. It’s exciting to see a woman take the helm as a label head, especially someone with a strong music background and a personal connection to the group.
Namjoon once referred to her as their “guardian angel,” as she played a pivotal role in keeping Jimin in the group—a decision that ultimately safeguarded BTS, as losing Jimin would have been, in his words, “a disaster.”

Let me tell you a little bit about Shin Seon-Jeon
First off.. why? Well because she was just announced as BH’s new CEO
Congratulations to her! 🎉🥳👏🏽🎊
Who is she?.
She has been an employee of BH since 2010 and was the head of their T&D - training and development - department.
She has been with BTS since day 1.
Why does she deserve respect?.
Aside from creating a space for idols under HYBE/BH to thrive, she also really really fucking loves BTS. She is what MHJ wishes she was. During her talk with Namjoon she stated
She was so close to the guys, to the point where she felt incredibly protective of them, and when the time came for her to move on from helping them, she struggled. It was hard for her, and yet she did it none the less, because she knew they had to grow on their own, and has ALWAYS cheered for them
She did not take credit for their success, she has never said that BTS “are nothing without her”, she did not let them build a co-dependent relationship, she let them go. Because she genuinely fucking loved them
And while solos are currently spreading lies about her and DC gallery
This is what she has said about Jimin
SHE FOUGHT FOR JIMIN
solos will sit there and tell you that Jimin has been mistreated since day 1, that he did it on his own, but never go out of their way to research, because for them it’s easier to have a villain in their story so they can manipulate the narrative - a narrative that is based on their own wants and needs.
The members and the staff have always fought for him - to the point where the members made it VOCALLY known that they were going to debut with Jimin, because that is what they wanted. To the point where you had Shin Seon-Jeon and their Manager Sejin supporting him, and fighting for him to debut
BUT MAINLY
She has worked hard to get to where she is, has stayed loyal and authentic to BTS, and to be very fucking honest, THAT is why I’m glad she’s the new CEO
because she will continue to protect them
Because this is HYBE doing the right thing and hiring people who know BTS, who understand the need to let them be who they are without taking credit for their success.
This is organic growth and it’s going back to their roots. THIS is what HYBE should have done from day 1.
Don’t let people twist this great happy moment into something it’s not. She deserves her flowers
Welcome back to the BH BTS Family, Shin Seon-Jeon! I’m rooting for you!!!.

2023/2024 has solidified that Jikook are a powerhouse duo and force to be reckoned with. Separately they're already a force, but together, sheesh. Look out world. When we say "power couple" Jikook most definitely would fit the bill. No made up ridiculousness and saying it for the sake of saying it. Like they are proving it. Just them dominating everything together. Charts and awards, #1's across the board, topping Billboard #1. Also having a #1 TV show together with so many positive reviews from critics and fans and on recommended lists for comforting show, talking about their sizzling chemistry on both the K side and I side. Breaking records and breaking each others records. And the best part is watching them do all this while celebrating it all together. Jk being Jimin's #1 fan and supporting him with his whole chest during Jimin's solo debut. Jimin with JK by his side the day he kicked off his solo debut with Seven in NY (on Silver Day ahem) and Jimin proudly showing JK's achievements off on his own IG. Traveling the world together listening to each other's music and being each other's biggest cheerleader. Enlisting together and celebrating their well deserved wins side by side the entire time. The only downside is, them going head to head for awards, but both win regardless cause we know even if one loses, the other is still happy And we see that all the time. For real power duo and it couldn't have happened to two better people. So deserving for both of them.
Anon what is 5 + 3? ATE!!!
You ATE and left no crumbs for Jikook antis

With everything that’s been going on in kpoppiesland since Jimin won the Daesang, I’ve seen loads of comments saying that ARMYs are unfair for not supporting other groups, and that X group should’ve won the award because they worked hard.
I’ve got a few questions:
1. Why do so many kpoppies, especially multis, insist (and have done for ages) that this fandom must support other groups or “give them a chance to win”? And why is it deemed unfair or selfish if we don’t?
2. Why are these people, in effect, saying that Jimin, in this specific case, didn’t work hard for his EP? Because that’s what they’re implying when they suggest he didn’t deserve to win and that X or Y group did because they “worked harder”.
Jimin did work hard on his album—very hard, I’d say. But even if he hadn’t, his fandom has every right to vote for him to win as many awards as possible. That’s literally the point of voting for your favourite artist.
It’s funny how so many multis who claim to be BTS fans always seem to side with the other group(s) and throw BTS under the bus the moment they get the chance.

So many emotions today.
And what a pity I missed out on enjoying most of them all 😫
That's what happens when your favourite boy makes 3 vlives in European working hours 😔
Waking up and seeing a gorgeous, sexy and adorable Jimin for Vogue Korea (yes! In the three videos Vogue posted he is all this and more), was the only thing I could enjoy relaxed.
The rest of the events have caught me in working meetings and although I surreptitiously logged on twitter, I have not been able to enjoy my lil bunny nor the premiere of the teaser of Set me free. 😒
I think the jikook moments (i.e. jimin and Jungkook interacting in Vlive) were very cute. But for me they fall soooo short... anyway, that's a post for another one day..
Yeah, I'm still worried about Jk. I don't think he's depressed, but I do think he's a bit lost in this chapter 2.
Being such an incredibly sensitive & emotional person, I understand that it's not easy to deal with certain changes.
I want to see the whole Vlive, because he's also been playful with army, and honest and reflexive about his album plan. A huge rollercoaster...
Anyway, I just came here late at my night to remind you that Jungkook has spent his white day with us. 🥰
(Jimin wasn't there and JK couldn't blow him the soup 🍜 and that stuff auntie told us )
But it's not the first time he's given us a gift on this special day.
5 years ago he gave us one of what I consider his best covered songs: only then
A song for army he said
(although army could well be a certain person...😏.. all army enjoyed this song... so I'm going to take it for granted that he gave it to us 😌😅)
Enjoy it 💜
PS: and this too

Chameleon Park Jimin 3
~ Written after seeing several people expressing resistance to Jimin evolving over time ~
BTS extensively used social media platforms, vlogs, fan meets, fan signings, and other creative events to help increase their fanbase and name recognition. In spite of the huge learning curve, long work hours, and meticulous practice sessions, Jimin always appeared to be upbeat and enthusiastic. He had chosen to take on the risk of learning his craft on the job with possible failures and slips on display, and then the company upped the vulnerability of exposure by having Jimin be the one who would expose his body on stage as well. He was required to be muscular and fit to titillate fans as he lifted his shirt to show his cut abs or tore off his shirt or performed shirtless.
The pressure surrounding this act was likely both internal and external. Jimin began doing heavy exercise and strict dieting. Severe dieting is more accurate. Although all the guys were required to commit to dieting, Jimin’s now self-imposed restrictions became so severe he would pass out, become weak, and be moody due to the lack of energy. He has expressed that he felt uncomfortable exposing his body then and also remarked that they were instructed to do some risqué things that were uncomfortable at those ages. Now not only could fans witness any mishaps that might occur from the untrained voice being asked to perform while sometimes jumping around, dancing, and maintaining your breathing, but now those ill-intended audience members could add criticizing his body and overall appearance to the mix as well.
I feel Jimin appeared to have possibly developed an eating disorder at this time due to the high expectations and requirements. I say this because after that very muscular phase finally passed, Jimin became painfully thin at times, losing muscle mass and strength. Being that Jimin is a perfectionist at heart, he often does everything he executes to the extreme - to his mental and physical detriment.
There was a time when the group became so concerned they had what seemed to be a filmed, group intervention for Jimin, where V explained that they wanted him to eat well because his health was more important than his looks. That was a brave and loving thing for V to do, even if, at the time, Jimin resisted and felt uncomfortable with the exposure. I feel the unhealthy dieting was an ongoing problem that he has hopefully overcome, although I presently still hear him talk quite often about weight and eating in a less than healthy way. I’ve observed that Jimin also gains weight to a normal amount then loses a significant amount of weight when performances approach.
Fans were not - and are not - always nice or polite and some were intentionally hurtful, and it’s only gotten worse since then. Jimin was one member who was highly engaged in social media from early on, and most certainly saw the comments and conversations being had about it all. Between the company’s requests, his own personal pride, as well as the ongoing stress of his chosen career, Jimin had a lot of pressure on his young shoulders. Considering how young they all were, they handled the stress incredibly well, but it at times took its toll in other, less obvious, ways.
As BTS’s talent, success, and popularity increased, they understood more and more what they wanted to say, how they wanted to say it, and how they wanted to show it on stage. Jimin went through some intense struggles, especially with his voice, but compensated for that with intense stage presence and performances. While he was working to find and improve his full voice, he enhanced and elevated his dance and appearance. He was always a very good singer with a good voice, but due to the sore throats and limited training, he suffered at times with the effort. The situation really ate at his confidence and security, I feel. Fan criticism didn’t help the matter, yet he worked harder and continued to persevere. The company and band recognized more and more what a commodity Jimin was and how his abilities could be used. His unique voice was found to be very useful in his higher range and his unusual tone added uniqueness and richness to the songs. He was given more singing lines and more elaborate dance routines.
Jimin also seemed to become a focus of humor for many of the episodes in the various reality type shows they filmed. Jimin can actually be very funny and would create interesting moments when he was involved. V, during Festa 2020, described Jimin as often surprising them and was unofficially in charge of bringing surprises to the group. In other words, Jimin was innovative and interesting when doing the things he did. However, I feel the company often set up Jimin to lose some of those games intentionally because no one is that unlucky or unskilled that they would lose as often as he did.
The company enjoyed dressing Jimin up in silly costumes and having him do the humiliating penalties because he was “so cute”, and unfortunately for Jimin, he was an attention magnet for viewers and fans. It appears to me that Jimin was not in on this joke because it seemed to wear on him at times. Even recently he made a remark that he was bad at games and lost often, but maybe his luck had changed. I feel that while his bandmates were happy for the attention brought to the group (3 minutes), it sometimes bothered them that Jimin would often become the focus of the host or interviewer or fans at frequent moments. I’m sure that created some unintended tension in the group occasionally.
As I said, in the midst of this hectic professional life, Jimin was growing as a human being as well. He is not perfect and had some learning to do as far as interacting with his members at home, being a bandmate on stage, or just existing personally. They were all under stress, and as they have said many times, they would become touchy when tired and stressed and frustrated.
Jimin had his moments where he said the wrong thing or used the wrong tone. Jimin could be sassy and has admitted that he has a blunt way of just saying what is on his mind. He says he can be clumsy with his words. Sometimes he was too playful or too flirtatious to his embarrassment or others. All of this was done with cameras often in their faces, filming the work and behind the scene moments as well.
I feel another way Jimin and the other maknae (younger) members were somewhat exploited was that more of their private lives were shown than the hyung (older) members. I don’t know if they were aware of how it would impact them over time or if they were told they didn’t have a choice, but they were at the editors’ mercy as far as the narratives created or shown about them. They may have been too young to understand the consequences and the permanent Internet presence of everything you had ever done, even if you had outgrown situations or later realized the effects.
In spite of the stage persona that Jimin executed so well, Jimin still was able to show that off stage he was genuinely an authentic, caring, warm individual. He started the birthday celebrations and gift-giving culture within the group. RM said people often have trouble complimenting or celebrating others’ accomplishments but Jimin never did. RM said he was grateful for Jimin’s ease at doing that for others.
However, I don’t feel, for reasons I’m not sure, that others returned the favor for Jimin. And sadly, due to personal insecurities he already had, he was one who really needed to hear the positive feedback. There was a time he would ask things like, “What about me?” or “How’d I do?” when compliments were being given to others, and it may have looked as though he was seeking attention or praise when he actually really needed the approval for his peace of mind. With all the uncertainty created by his unsupported professional development, he needed to know he was pulling his weight and hitting the needed marks.
Later, I feel Jimin had gained enough confidence not to need or to seek out external reassurance (and/or possibly others eventually gave him the feedback that he needed more freely). On a very recent RunBTS when they were doing flying yoga, Jimin chose a back row to participate but then lost a game of Rock, Paper, Scissors initiated by V to have to move to the front row instead. He did not seek out the attention of the front row or the teacher’s praise, but you could tell it still affects him when he receives affirmation for his efforts. When the teacher said that Jimin was good at the activity, you could tell Jimin appreciated and was proud of the recognition but no longer was desperate to hear it. He even seemed surprised at the teacher sharing those words.
Jimin also likely needed the positive encouragement because the hate and criticism he was receiving online or in the media for anything and everything he did - or didn’t do - was continually growing and still exists to this day. Over time, the online comments escalated from criticism to death threats. It became - and remains - very hostile and vicious. The Jimin who would once talk openly and frequently on vlogs and VLives, began to withdraw and not share as much and not show up as much. The Jimin who would post often and keep fans informed about what was happening in the group, while still respecting his and his bandmates’ privacy, began posting less and less. To his credit, he still remained positive and caring in spite of an almost organized effort to discredit, diminish, and devalue him.
I have explained how Jimin was transforming physically but also emotionally and behaviorally up to this point. Some changes were empowering due to positive experiences and events, and some were destructive due to harmful actions and intentions. All of the experiences were contributing in some way to who Jimin had become so far ----- and then came the Covid pandemic…
See Chameleon Park Jimin Part 4 - This possible final chapter will more specifically address the current thoughts about Jimin’s evolution as pandemic and post pandemic situations and transformations took hold.

Chameleon Park Jimin 1
~ Written after reading several people expressing resistance to Jimin evolving over time ~
My feelings about BTS's achievements and accomplishments as a group have grown tremendously the more I have learned about their story. They overcame a huge amount of opposition (as Jimin says "opps"), criticism, and obstacles. They created their own way and paved a new path for those who will come behind them, friends and foes alike. Since Jimin is my bias, I have investigated his story more than the others. All of them had challenges and difficult moments, but I feel a few circumstances added additional layers of complication to Jimin's journey. With that said, Jimin never presents himself as a victim (although I do feel he's been wronged in some ways) and he does not make excuses and rarely complains. From the outside though, as a fan, I do sympathize and empathize with his situation but am also very impressed with his perseverance, determination, and accomplishments.
To begin, Jimin arrived in Seoul from Busan with an accent common to his region. He was added late to the trainee program and therefore had one of the shortest (or the shortest) training periods before debut in KPop, where others more often had a year or more of training before debuting. I have heard some of these other artists say they were still scared and still didn't feel prepared when it was time to debut. In addition, Jimin was trained to be a rapper!! Jimin was shorter at that time, small framed, and soft spirited, yet the company saw a tough, hip hop rapper. He was pretty good at popping and street dancing because of an after school program he had joined out of his own interest, in spite of learning contemporary dance in school at the time. However, in spite of that initial misdirection, Jimin debuted as a main dancer, alongside JHope, and main singer, alongside Jungkook, the lead singer. Yes, a singer, not a rapper. In spite of the lack of vocal training, he was given the high-pitched, show-stopping notes or segments of the early songs (See Let Me Know and Hold Me Tight as examples). Only Jimin's determination and perseverance must have given him the courage to take on the challenge of stepping out on stage and testing those untrained skills on the job - in front of the public. No wonder he cried before performances (as he said on Suchwita with Suga). He was terrified and insecure about what he was asked to do, but he did it anyway. What he did was to ACT like a confident, hard-skinned, hip hop guy (Re: "Who am I?"). Suga's response back then to Jimin crying, revealed during Suchwita, showed that Jimin may not have gotten a huge amount of sympathy and understanding in those times of distress, "Who is this guy? Get out there and sing. You can get better later." [paraphrase of Suga's words, not exact quotes] Keep in mind, Suga, who had prior performing experience as an underground rapper, didn't have to sing nor sing while dancing nor go out on stage undertrained, hoping the performance would go well. This lack of foundational preparation would be a continual weight for Jimin because while most of the time Jimin was able to perform well, on occasion that lack of training revealed itself with some bad tones and perpetual sore throats for a while, likely due to poor technique and strained vocal chords. It's fortunate that he never damaged his voice permanently throughout the many years of singing this way.
While this was happening, the unfortunate, usual harassment came from peers around him. He was teased for his accent, the clothes he had brought, his weight, his rapping, his height. I like to think that, aside from the general unkind nature of people, they may have seen something in him that caused them to want to knock him down a peg or two. He was competition for some of those around him after all, particularly in the trainee days, but even perhaps afterwards. He was constantly threatened to be removed as a trainee and not debut. Keep in mind, Jimin also had the least amount of time to bond with the strangers he would be living and working with in very stressful, tiring circumstances. He had a lot of catching up to do in a very short amount of time, without much assistance or direction.
The stress that all of this must have caused, while he was trying to sort out what they expected of him or how he would execute the things being asked of him, must have been tremendous. With research, you can find the interview where he explains the situation when he was asked by the interviewer: 2 hours of sleep per night, school, studying, practicing on his own into the night, etc. Based on the stories I have heard and read, I don't think any of the others were as misdirected and as unassisted as he was. He started out thinking he would be one thing, debuted as another thing, then ultimately ended up evolving into something even more different than that over time. He was the member who, I feel, was asked to portray a character and exhibit skills that were far from who he actually was or what he actually possessed at the time. The others, I think, debuted closer to who they were and what they were trained for and actually ended up doing. It's not that the others weren't learning and growing within the difficult process as well, but at least they were trained to some degree - and for a longer time - and were in the lane that they had originally been assigned.
As I explain Jimin's journey further, it will become clearer how many changes and layers Jimin had to navigate as time passed.

Jimin’s Daesang Win → SMF, Pt 2 Connection
Image originally posted by Ask-Serendipity-Sky
Jimin recently won the Fans' Choice of the Year daesang (grand prize) award at the 2024 MAMA ceremony. This award, formerly known as the Worldwide Icon of the Year award, has only previously been won by a group and has been won by his own group (BTS) for the past 6 years. Jimin is the first soloist to win this prestigious award. The last soloist to win a daesang award of any category, a decade ago, was Taeyang of Big Bang, who fans know is an idol that Jimin admired and eventually got to work with on the successful collaboration song, Vibe, in early 2023. It was Taeyang's first entry at all on the Billboard Hot100 chart, and it was Jimin's first as a soloist - but it was not Jimin’s last solo appearance. He went on to have at least 5 more entries up to this point, including the very first #1 by a K-soloist in history. Since then, Jimin has earned countless other historic and record-breaking achievements as a soloist as well and is continuing to do so at the time of this writing.
It is impressive, and a bit sad, that Jimin earned this fan-voted award while away, serving his mandatory military duty for his country, so he was not able to accept the award in person. He was also not present to promote his extremely successful, current solo album, MUSE, although he worked very hard to leave promotional material behind to be used in his absence. It is also worth noting that all of these Billboard achievements were done with very little opportunity for Jimin to promote his work fully - for a variety of reasons.
I have often said not to count out a determined Park Jimin. If Jimin makes a plan, envisions a dream, or states a vow, he is one who has shown that he will do whatever he can to try to make sure it comes to pass. With all this said, I think it is a good time to remind everyone of the lyrics of Jimin’s favorite song from his debut solo album, FACE - Set Me Free, Part, 2. (As an aside: I think it should already have gotten 1 billion streams.)
While you read the lyrics and rewatch the video, think of all that Jimin has been through and how hard he has worked, which inspired him to make the declarations in this song. Then consider the daesang award he has just received. Jimin truly set himself free and lit his path as a soloist on fire.🔥🔥🔥

OMG my life's been so hectic in the last 24hours and now Jimin came home 😭🥹
What do you mean repay us? 😭
Its US repaying YOU, dumbass.
You won that award because YOU DESERVE IT. And we will keep giving you MORE AWARDS in the future. That is our way of expressing our gratitude...
But I do look forward to more music TT👍
