Ratchets break, boot laces fray, stuff happens. This is why I’ve always carried what I call an oh shit bag in my car. Recently I realized the @dakine scoop case is the perfect thing for all of that stuff! Key things I try to always keep in my boot bag/car. •snowboard lock •binding hardware •tool •scraper •gummy stone •binding ladders •boa lace •helmet fit pad •key ring •leash The only thing worse than having a day ruined by any of the problems these things solve is when you have that problem and the stuff to fix it is at home!

https://www.gofundme.com/387sz6o?utm_source=internal&utm_medium=email&utm_content=campaign_link_t&utm_campaign=welcome On Wednesday January 11th, legendary freestyle snowboarder Jeremy Jones of Salt Lake City was in a snowboarding accident in the Utah Backcountry. As a result Jeremy suffered multiple broken bones in both of his legs and had to be Life Flighted to the nearest hospital to undergo emergency surgery. Usually Helicopter Rides and Snowboarding mean good things. This particular ride was good in that it got Jeremy the medical attention he needed quickly but the Heli ride and the injury have also brought enormous unexpected and unplanned expenses. Jeremy’s influence and impact on the snowboard community and beyond is hard to capture in a few words. His 20+ year career as a professional is filled with Progression, Innovation, and Style. A dedicated ambassador to the sport, role model for both young and old, and a committed family man, Jeremy Jones now needs our help. Now is your chance to support a true legend and give back to someone who has given so much to the sport and lifestyle of Snowboarding. Please donate what you can to help Jeremy get back on his feet.

Utah has been getting hammered! I used to be a big hater when it came to flat/rocker boards but riding soft snow and this ride machete has changed my mind.

It's been an insane start to the season! This has been the most snow I've ever ridden several days in a row.

76% of 18-29 year olds say climate change is a serious problem facing America, yet only about 46% voted in the last presidential election. If we're going to win against climate change, or any environmental issue, this number absolutely has to change. 2016 is the most important environmental election in a generation because there is just too much at stake - we can't afford to sit on the sidelines anymore. Voting is the single most effective thing we can do to fight climate change. There are candidates for every office who are ready to vote to protect our planet. Elect them so that they have the power to change things for the better. www.protectourwinters.org/vote

Death lens clip on Wide angle lens.
I love my gopro but sometimes it’s just too bulky to bring with when i don’t know if i’ll end up using it. I’ve wanted a death lens for a while but i’m not willing to go with out having a case on my phone that will actually protect it from an impact. Death lens makes their pro lens and a nice quality case but the cost just didn’t seem worth it to me.
Finally a lens that should work over my case. I’m using the Tech 21 Evo Mesh Case for my iPhone 6s.
I had a hard time finding photos of what i could expect so i wanted to post a few that would have been really helpful to me.
I was kind of disappointed that using the wide angle still had a vignette. to be honest that’s why i picked the wide angle over the fish i was hoping i wouldn’t have to zoom to get rid of the black circle.
for the $30 price tag (with shipping that included a tracking number) it seems like a good deal. I’ve had the olio clip and was totally sick of having to take my case off to take pictures.
i’m sure you’ll be able to see a bunch more photos using the death lens on my instagram & or Snapchat @jerome_Kuntz very soon. but for now i hope this helps some more people shopping for a phone lens.

Sarah and I went for a little hike today. We learned that
1) even if there’s snow you get very hot hiking. 2) trying to hike up a mountain with out snowshoes or a split board is really hard. 3) bringing enough to drink is critical. Over all it was a rad experience! Snowboarding hiking and jamming out to some tunes. As far as I see it there’s no reason to let winter be totally over.

Now that's a last day on hill I can dig on! Thanks Brighton resort for having a good deal on tickets for those of us that hold passes at resorts that called it quits at least a week too early.

This spring is going way too fast! I can’t believe that the mountains are going to call it quits with so much snow still up there. I’m really happy I got to ride with my Dad and my friend Tyler last weekend.
