There’s going to be no movie review today.

Because I don’t know what to review next, and I want to do other things other than review movies, so maybe next week, or next month if I feel like it, this is a little update, I’ll se y’all next time.

Isle of Dogs Movie Review

[Caution! This may contain spoilers, so if you haven’t watched the movie yet, do so now before reading this review]

So when I first watched this movie on Disney+, I actually really like it, despite the fact this movie is rated PG-13, it is pretty dark, and sad, but for the most part, I actually enjoyed the movie, this movie was released in 2018 by the same studio who created Fantastic Mr. Fox (which I might do a movie review on that soon) Indian Paintbrush. This movie sets place in Japan, however, most people in this movie speak their native language other than English, however, there’s always English text, and translators to help the English watchers understand what they’re saying, in some parts of the movie, some characters (like one of the main one who’s named Atari) mostly speak in their native language without us even knowing what they’re even saying. However, the dogs in the movie speak only English, but most characters like Atari, the mayor, and other people in Japan only speak their native language, except for Tracy Walker (who is somehow from Ohio USA), and that one translator woman who’s making sure that every English watcher understand what they’re saying. 

So to speak, the movie took place in Japan (like I said before) of a flu outbreak in Japan called the “Dog Flu”, so the mayor basically was acting like an asshole, and took most of the innocent dogs to be in a waste land or land fill (whatever you like to call it though. Thus, we get to a couple of dog characters at the waste fill who are named Chief (the main one), Duke, Rex, King, Nutmeg, the list goes on, ‘cause there’s a lot of dogs in this movie. However, one of the main characters, “Atari”, is trying to look for his dog named Spots. However, the dogs though that the dog who starved to death was Spots, however, this waste land was the wrong one that Atari went to, I also for got to mention that Atari stole a plane, and flew it to the waste land just to see his dog, but he wasn’t there, so they have to go in another waste land or land fill to find spots.

They did find spots, however, they’ve ran into the people again who’re trying to get Atari back to his home town (and that was also at the part where Atari was in the wrong waste land as well, but I’m trying to be quick, and focus more on the movie first before I say anything), however, he refuses, and jumps into the water with the dogs, and everyone thinks that he was dead, and committed suicide, but Atari isn’t dead just yet, those guys that tried to capture Atari was planning to fill the waste land with toxic wasabi poison, so Atari and the dogs had to do something to stop this madness from ever happening, so they went back to Japan for Atari to give out a speech. Tracy in the movie tried her best to say something about the dogs flu cure actually working, but most people disagree, and she was about to get expelled from the school she’s in right now, and was giving a ticket (I think, I’m not exactly sure what they’ve given her), but Atari somehow came back, and a lot noticed that he was actually not dead.

So Atari gave a speech that the cure works and such, and he did say that his experience with dogs was great, so they’ve gave Chief a shot on the cure, and Chief feels a bit better now.

I did forgot to mention while I was writhing this post that they did made a cure for the flu, however, the mayor said no, and was thinking for an alternative for dogs, which of course are Robo dogs (which I think seems too good to be true, and a bad idea as well).

So after the speech from Atari, the mayors (and yep, there’s two mayors in the movie) were arguing at each other, but one of them said they shouldn’t be doing this to dogs, but the other one thinks that dogs should die, so the other mayor pushed the button, however, a kid somehow hacked the system, and poisoned most of the people who were wearing suits to protect themselves from the poison wasabi, and destroyed most of the Robo dogs.

After that, Atari was rushed to the hospital, and he had brain damaged, and one of his kidney failed, however, they’ve fixed up his brain, but his kidney failed, however, the mayor who was preventing that other mayor from pushing the button exchanged for his kidney to fix up Atari, and somehow, Atari was elected as mayor. It’s kinda weird that a kid was elected as mayor, but the ending of the movie was actually pretty, I liked the ending.

Conclusion:

Overall, this movie has been a good one for me, and yes, it’s another clay animated film (which of course I like to watch), there were some part I didn’t like in the movie, but for the most part, this movie wasn’t that bad at all, and the story actually was interesting, overall this movie was so good, and the people who also did a great job with Fantastic Mr. Fox, also did a great job with this movie.

Ivan the Incredible Movie Review...

[This is a review from an old movie, movie review on newer movies will come soon]

Here’s basically my though about the movie, “Ivan the Incredible”. There’s a lot wrong with this movie, but I’ll explain later.

 So… What is Ivan the Incredible?

Ivan the Incredible is a movie about a kid named Ivan who always gets bullied most of the time, however, all of that changed when a witch gave him a potion that makes him better at everything. However, he forgot to put one potion in the potion mix, and that is that potion that let’s you have that particular skill for just one day, however, since she forgot to put that in, Ivan had it for more than one day.

The movie was released in 2012, by some Danish company that makes movies, however, I just have a couple of things to say about this movie, it’s so wrong.

The characters…

Most of the characters in this movie are unlikable, like for example, his dad who tries to be a coach, but he always acts like he’s the shit, and he also lied to Ivan about him being strong. Also, his dad at least admits it.

By the way, his dad always pushes Ivan way too hard, even threw all of his stuff away that is important to Ivan, no wonder why his dad is always so broke.

Kim, and her bully friends loves to bully Ivan a lot, and always treat him like shit, and yes, they always do it all the time in the movie, until Ivan drank that potion.

I also didn’t like Carsten in the movie either, since he was also making fun, and bulling Ivan, until Ivan of course drank that potion, and of course I do like to mention that Ivan’s dad told Ivan to pick up that woman at the ice cream store, however, the woman was actually amazed at Ivan’s performance somehow, and everyone else, even Carsten, because he was giving Ivan some ice cream.

Lotte was the nicest to Ivan, until he drank that potion, thus, Lotte feels like wanting to bring back the old Ivan more than the new one. I do have to mention that Lotte did gave Ivan a love letter, however, Ivan never opens it throughout this whole movie. Also, Lotte kinda reminds me of Ariana Grande a bit.

But for the most part, the characters aren’t really that good at all. 

The Movie itself…

This is where I should mention a couple of things that I feel that is so wrong in the movie…

1. The graphics and visuals…

The graphics don’t look good at all, and the visuals is a but rubbery, if you think about a really good movie called Toy Story, you can see the visuals and graphics are much better than in Ivan the Incredible.

2. Most of the movie is just filler…

The first 43 minutes of the movie is just filler, the story doesn’t really progress at all, so you’re basically seeing an uncomfortable 43 minutes of Ivan getting bullied, picked on, and of course his dad being an asshole coach.

3. The love letter…

Ivan never opens the love letter, not even once in the movie, however, Lotte did mention about it in the movie, however, he just never opens it.

4. The Dialog

It literally makes no sense at all, the dialog is pretty bad in this movie, it’s hard to explain to be honest, but for the most part, the dialog is pretty crappy anyways.

5. The art style…

To be honest, it’s actually not too bad, but the visuals are just a bit rubbery for the most part.

6. The humor…

I’m not going to explain much, but it just wasn’t funny, that’s all I’m going to type right here.

And 7. The moral…

It’s very stupid, in the movie, the moral shows that it’s betters to get bullied by someone else, than bulling others, that is a pretty bad moral. Are morals suppose to teach people a better life lesson rather than just be bullied? Also, most of the movie is just bulling, which is sad, because not only these bullies bullied him, Ivan bullied them back when he drank the potion.

 My final Conclusion…

Overall, the movie itself looks like it was made in under 1 year, most movies take like about 1 year and a couple of months and so, at least they put effort into this movie, but it doesn’t feel right watching it, and there’s also a few plot holes in the movie as well, for the most part, the animation is not bad, but the movie looks like it was made in under a year, and to be fair, not every movie is perfect, especially from a good franchise, overall, this movie is literally a hog wash. If you want to watch a good children movie, I don’t recommend Ivan the Incredible, not the worst movie I’ve seen in my life, but it’s pretty disappointing, and bad.

Planning for a movie review series...

This series is mainly for the movies I watch, I can only do movies that are on Disney+, Hulu, Netflix, etc. I might go out to the movies to watch it, and I might give out my opinion on that movie, but due to the pandemic, I won’t go out to the movies until everything gets better, but for now, I should only do the movie reviews on streaming services for now, since I don’t have time to buy movies on iTunes, and Amazon, I might just rent them, just because it’s cheaper, and then a few days later, you won’t have the movie anymore, it just somehow works like that...

The one movie I will review, and Schedule...

Starting from January 15th, I’m going to put a movie review on a movie that I use to watch when I was 12 years old, and now I should give out my opinion to the movie that I watched back then in 2015, I’m not going to give out the movie title, but I’m going to give out a hint, the movie’s about a kid who gets bullied, so she went to some witch to drink a potion that will make him strong, and he teaches these bullies dirty. However, I might just say that this movie (as I see it) isn’t as good as the reviews says on IMDb, so I might talk some negativity about the movie, anyways, thanks for reading this, and the movie review is going to be every other Saturday, because I’m going to be watching that one movie on Disney+ that is coming soon, so it’ll be on the 29th. TikTok Video Rant #2: I made it so you can’t follow me videos...

[Another exclaimer that I’m not against these people, nor being mean to them. I just going to tell everyone that this trend has been going around TikTok ever since late 2021 last year, so now I think it’s about time to do a little rant on it]

So about these videos on TikTok of people saying stuff like I made it so you won’t follow me, or like the video, save the video, and many more, but what if I told you that those videos are just there so they can just receive more likes, and also of course more follows, they’re just there just to get more views, here’s an example video explaining why this is a problem...

At first, it seems legit, right? But... think again, you press the follow button with no problems at all, it doesn’t pull up a message saying “you can’t follow them”. But you can follow them with no problems, and you noticed you’ve just wasted your time just following that account.

And others might just do the same as the other person by making more I made it impossible to follow me videos, and the comments will say stuff like I already did, or this is “cap” (some fancy word on TikTok meaning something is fake), or other things that they would say as well. I’ve seen these videos so many times on my TikTok “for you page”, and they keep on getting worse and worse as the months goes by.

I don’t really know if people are still making these videos or not, I just want to explain the whole cause of this strange TikTok trend, and there’s other videos not just saying about I made it impossible to follow me, there’s I made it impossible to like this video, or save the video (meaning just downloading the video since TikTok does have a save feature, and TikTok use to be called Musical.ly, so this save video feature must’ve been on the app ever since Musical.ly was released).

I don’t know about you or anything, I just feel that this trend just needs to stop soon. It’s annoying to have these videos on your for you page, and they’re not even helpful at all, they’re just there to waste your time, and even my time as well.

TikTok Videos Rant #1: Follow me back videos...

[Note that I’m not against these people, nor saying anything mean to them, this is just for education purposes only, please don’t go out there, and send hate nor be mean to these people I’m going to expose, thanks for reading this notice, I hope you know what I mean]

It’s pretty much these videos about these “so called” people saying stuff like “If you follow me, I’ll follow you within the next 10 seconds”. But when you follow them, and a few seconds later, they don’t follow you back, like seriously. They’re only doing it just to gain more followers, and that just feels disgusting to me. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, look at this image below...

So these people make accounts on TikTok claiming that if you follow them, they’ll follow you back, however, they don’t follow you back. Instead, you’ve wasted your time following the account, and you wait for more than 3 hours. 3 hours later, they don’t follow you back, it is just a following scam going around on TikTok, it’s basically just there so you can follow the account weather it’s a scam or not, they won’t follow you back within 5 seconds. And if you see these videos on your for you page, just block them, it’s truly a misleading tactic that some TikTokers use in order to gain followers, and they won’t follow you back within 5 seconds or more, thanks for reading this, there’s a few more TikTok rants I’m going to be doing this week, so if you want to keep updated, I’ll post some more tomorrow, so thanks for reading, and have a happy new years.

Update for The Problem With Jonathon Hills...

I've looked in the about section in Jonathon Hill's channel, and as it turns out, it said this is for satire/entertainment purposes as shown below...

I guess I could be wrong about Jonathon Hills, I know nowadays people don't read from about sections anymore, but I just found this out today, I was not paying close attention, but still, he proves that it's fake, so yeah. The Problem With Jonathon Hills...

(please note that some of this stuff is in my opinion, please don't go out there and send any hate to Jonathon Hills)

1. Introduction

If you don't know who Jonathon Hills is, he's a YouTuber who runs a so called show called "The Buddhism Hotline". As you can see, this is his channel as of May 1st, 2021:

Yeah, even though his content is suppose to be about Buddhism, it isn't, we'll get to that in a bit. Now since this guy has been streaming ever since the mid 2010s, I do reckon that his content isn't really good at all, and he invites these people over to be featured in his streams. However, I don't believe anything that Jonathon says in these streams, and what we're going to be talking about today is "Today's post of Jonathon Hills..."

2. His Content

One thing that makes me mad the most is why is he posting these streams unrelated to Buddhism? Seriously, look...

Even though he's trying to be a "Buddhist", he doesn't even ack Buddhist at all, he talks about how he wants Christmas to be banned, because he thinks of Christmas as a false holiday. Now, I do know that Santa Clause is fake and all, and is make believe, but Christmas isn't really a false Holiday, and some Buddhist (if I know some of them) also does Christmas, not to just celebrate, but it's something to do to just open gifts, and eat delicious meals. However, in Jonathon Hill's stream, he thinks that any holiday is a sin, even Thanksgiving.

He doesn't just make videos about him wanting to ban Christmas and video games, but he let's people donate a song to him, and they have to spend at least five dollars to get the song to his stream, and the songs aren't really copyright/royalty free, and they donate songs that are explicit, and are not for kids, even though Jonathon Hills thinks kids are watching it, which they're not (to be exact). If I'm wrong guys, and there's kids watching it, I'm very sorry that I did say that kids aren't watching it, but that being said, kids can fall for anything.

What people donate to Jonathon Hills like I said are songs that are explicit, not kid friendly content, but one song that Jonathon Hills hates is Ram Ranch. I can't tell you what the song is all about, but I can say that there's cowboys in the showers doing stuff that isn't really meant to be for everyone, and the cover arts from Grant MacDonald's Ram Ranch songs are very inappropriate, but they're even worse on his website which I'm not going to link, because I wanna keep the NSFW content out of this Tumblr blog as possibly as I can.

Pretty much, he sounds homophobic, and he said that anything "homosexual" is out of the Buddhism Hotline, he even said racist to a rock song as shown in this video here on this part of the video. In that rock song that someone donated to Jonathon Hills, it didn't contain any racial slurs, but he said in the video "BAN IT! RACIST! Racist! Racist." What?! Oh yeah, people also donate racial slurs to Jonathon Hills whether they're racist or not, and I don't think it's a great idea, and as it turns out, people donate the N word to him, and the stream or the video doesn't get age restricted for some reason.

What I don't like about his streams is that he always calls everything photoshopped, what? Doesn't make any sense at all, also, photoshop isn't a Digital Audio Workstation, nor a video editor, it's a Raster Graphic Editor for crying out loud, and it's from Adobe, a company who's also under Illustrator, Premier Pro, Animate (a.k.a. Flash), and also other apps like that. But Photoshop seems to be the most popular Adobe app, and it is in the dictionary as photoshopped. But in Jonathon Hills video, it turns out he likes to call everything photoshop if one of his songs gets edited, or if another song gets edited.

And speaking of him saying stuff like I'm going to ban video games, he actually played video games before he streamed that in 2018, as shown here...

He also played Minecraft as well after he streamed Ban Video Games. You can't just go on your Windows 10 PC, and play Minecraft, even though you said you hate it, you obviously like that game.

Also, he likes to pronounce words wrong, like for example, he calls Grand Theft Auto... "Grand Theft Aido", he calls himself not Jonathon Hills, but "Jon-a-thon" Hills. He calls memes "mems", and he also calls Google "Goggle". Most of this stuff doesn't make any sense at all, it seems like he's acting like a guy with a serious disability, but really, he's playing an act of a character, so his content is pretty much make believe, and I don't think his name's actually Jonathon Hills, it could be something else, but yet again, if I'm wrong if his name is Jonathon Hills, and Jonathon, if you're reading this, I'm sorry.

I really don't want to end things just yet, because his expose videos are even worse, some of them even made me crack up (which means laugh so hard), so let's explain these videos.

3. Expose videos

The first one we're going to be looking at is a video called "Exposing PHIL SWIFT [FLEX TAPE] - Jonathon Hills" and let me explain some problems with his video.

1. He calls Phil Swift a White Privilege High Mass individual, but I don’t think Phil really is one to be certain. I don't think he's racist as well, but Jonathon treats him as a bad person.

2. He’s telling everyone that Phil Swift throws Flex Tape, and violate everything he could see, but he’s not Violating anything. Except, he's showing an example on how Flex Tape works, and it doesn't even look like Violating everything he sees.

3. In the video, Jonathon told viewers that Phil Swift claims that you can eat his product, which is completely untrue, because in that Twitter video Phil Swift has made telling people about how he was scrolling in the comments on Instagram about comments saying can you eat the product, and he said no. Also, I laughed so hard at this part of the video, because he did say that Phil claims that you can eat Flex Seal products, but he edited it out to make it look like he’s saying you can eat them, but Phil said you can’t eat it in this video right here...

4. Jonathon is saying that Phil destroys stuff like boats for example, but he does it, because he’s showing you a demonstration on how the product works. Jonathon also thinks that the boat was innocent, and has feelings, and did nothing wrong to Phil, but Phil cuts the boat anyways, and no, the boat doesn’t talk, nor has feelings. Jonathon also mentioned Phil assaulting buckets as well, but Phil (like I said) is only doing it to demonstrate how Flex Seal, and Flex Tape works. He’s calling out Phil for abusing boats and buckets, and acts like it’s a serious thing, but Phil’s only doing it for demonstration purposes only. He's not hurting anyone, nor anything.

5. He created a change.org petition to stop Phil from even being on television, to be honest, Flex Tape isn’t really a scam at all, it actually works, except, it’s not really the greatest product of all time, there is time where you do repair the hole, but it does leak a little bit, but at least it’s not a lot, but the product still works decently. Jonathon Hills also wants Phil in Jail, despite the fact Phil isn’t doing anything illegal, and Flex Tape isn't really that bad if you think about it.

6. He told Phil that if he was watching the video, he said you can shove it up my rectum, which basically means "butthole". And he's trying to make a butt joke about it, even though he's suppose to be a channel about Buddhism, and something about him saying stuff like you can shove it up my rectum isn't kid friendly.

After watching the video, I thought the video was just all a joke, and I laughed so hard, I can hardly Breathe, due to the fact he's acting very serious, but he's actually acting funny for the most part.

Our next one is called "FLEX TAPE EXPOSED AND TESTED BY JONATHON HILLS", and there's a lot of things wrong with this video over the other one I've just talked about, and yet again, there's some wrong in this video.

1. He said in the video he bought Flex Tape, and expose him for being fake, even though he hasn't tried out the product just yet, and he still calls Phil Swift a High Mass Individual, which I don't think he is actually.

2. He said "for me holding this, I feel absolutely disgusting." But did you meant disgusted? Like I said, he's playing a role of a character who has a serious disability, but he's just acting silly.

3. He said that Phil claims that it blocks out all water, and then he said "I'm going to show you that his product is a scam", but you haven't tested it out yet.

4. He takes a bucket that he thinks that Phil Swift abuses, but the bucket in this video is white as seen here...

While Phil Swift's bucket is actually grey as seen here...

See the differences?

5. He grabs an protein shake container filled with water, and pours it, and starts shaking it around while he's saying "Ah Blessings", this part is really funny.

6. He said that he blessed a knife, except, the knife that he was holding in his hand doesn't even look blessed, and for some reason, he's saying he blessed it, just because he wants to be nice to be honest. (Maybe not)

7. He's saying to be gentle to the bucket while making a hole for it, but he keeps stabbing the bucket, even though he did say be nice to it.

8. He compared himself and Phil Swift that Phil violently attacks buckets, and Jonathon is very nice, even though you started to stab the bucket as many times as you can.

9. He saw a fire truck, and he thinks that Phil Swift is being under arrested right now, but he yelled at a fire truck, and it was not the police officers, and he's acting like those are police officers, but really, it's the fire department.

10. He then picks up the bucket while it leaks, and he just slapped the Flex Tape on it, and he still called it a scam, even though you didn't put it on fully, and speaking of bucket abuse, he threw the bucket on the ground, and stomped on it, who's the real victim now?

11. He then takes the tape, and he thinks Phil Swift is letting people eat the product, but yet again, look at number 3 from the first video we've discussed about where he basically said that Phil is doing a lot of sins right now, and he created a change.org petition to stop Phil from being on TV. But just to tell you in the video, he put the tape in his mouth, spit it out, and said I'm never going to use this product ever again, and he also said I'm coming after you once I'm done with my petition, I'll get you off of TV, but in his change.org petition, he only has about less than 300 signed, and I believe it was a failure, because the video was stupid.

Pretty much, all the things that Jonathon said in that video just doesn't sound right at all, and you're calling Phil Swift a high mass individual, because you said he scams people? Why?

And our last and final video isn't really about Flex Tape, nor Flex Seal, it's from the Shamwow guy named Vince Offer, and the video that Jonathon Hills made is called "SHAMWOW EXPOSED and TESTED by Jonathon Hills".

1. In the beginning of the video, he called Vince Offer a product. That really confused me, because are you referring to Vince, or Shamwow?

2. He told everyone that you're not going to say Sham-Wow, you're going to be saying Sham-Disgusting, but in this video here, it does show that Shamwow is a really good product.

3. He said that Vince claims that it can absorb all the liquid, and Jonathon thinks he's lying, while really that video called "Sham Wow IN PERSON", that video I've shown you in number 2 of what were talking about now, it looks like Shamwow is a useful tool though.

4. Vince did say that Shamwow was made in Germany, and Jonathon Hills think that Germany is a bad place, because a person who was affiliated with World War II (which I'm not going to say his name), has killed millions of innocent Jews, but in one of the comments...

You can see he wasn't actually born in Germany, he was born in Austria, and moved to Germany.

5. He filled a bathtub with water, and he said it was a small amount, but it's like about 3 or 5 gallons of water, the Shamwow isn't suppose to absorb all that water, but he threw the Shamwow into the tub, and he said it did achieve nothing, but really, you didn't fill the tub with a small amount of water.

6. He thinks that Vince Offer said that it can block off sinks, but really, he didn't actually say that, and Jonathon Hills tries blocking off all water, but it didn't block any at all, and he still called it a scam.

7. He poured water all over his carpet, and then tried picking it up with the towel, but still, he's just playing around with the towel, and not picking anything up. Well it did pick up some water, but due to him playing around with the towel, he was not picking up all the water at all.

8. He pulls out info about Vince Offer getting arrested back then for violently attacking a women, I don't know if that's true or not, maybe it is, I haven't checked on the Internet yet though, but I don't think that part is related to Shamwow, other than Vince Offer's name.

9. He yells and tells people that Shamwow is garbage, and he told everyone to throw it away immediately, but the product, it looks like it works, jees...

And that one was the Shamwow expose video, and stuff that he said into these 3 videos are totally useless, and they don't make any sense at all, he acks like a 9 year old kid who's warning people to not buy a product that is useful, and he does it in every wrong direction.

4. Ending

With what I've told you about Jonathon Hills today, his content doesn't even look that great at all, I do see why people are making fun of him, and making him unhappy, it's because of the things that he just done, and the streams and videos don't make any sense at all, so yeah, that was it, that was The Problem With/My Thoughts on Blog Number one, thanks for reading, I'm not the best typer, nor the best blogger out there, but this is my first time posting, and sooner or later, it could get better.
