Sixteen.

CHEERS TO OUR 16 YEARS OF EXISTENCE!! 🥂🎉

Turning 16. Not only our freedom to expand with the addition of becoming an adult, but they also are becoming more cognizant of what they want to do in their future. Those who plan to attend college may be visiting universities or preparing to take the appropriate standardized exams. There are people who will come to you with many opportunities and as a risk taker you will try it to see how far you can handle it in life and this is where you will really realize how far you have reached and how far you can handle it. As a 16-year-old, I will still have many challenges and problems in life as a teenager and to become an adult, I will still learn and change a lot because I will push and I need to trust myself in my abilities and skills.

Sometimes I just wonder and ask myself "How? How did you get to where you are now?" and I'm answering maybe because I have determination and a dream to continue what I started where my parents helped me shape and strengthen my heart to fight life's challenges no matter who hinders me. I will never forget them because they were the first to build my character and the day will come when I will be the one to help them and take back all the efforts they gave me.

Fifteen.

A teen matures from 15 years old to their 18th birthday, they are gaining the skills they need to become a young adult. During these years, teens are taking on more responsibilities, navigating high school, and gaining more independence, but they also may be getting more confident in their abilities. These are the times and seasons when you can go back the years as a child and still be happy because you are close to going to the next stage of life as an adult. This book is coming to an end and it's on to the next challenge.

That year was a happy and unforgettable year in my life because a lot of good things happened and bad things happened but I'm happy that I got through those problems. 2019 when my mother left to go to another country to work for our family and make our lives easier, it's sad that we can't be with her in the happy events in my life like when we have birthdays and Christmas, but in the events that I am still happy that we are not losing our love as a family.

It was 2020 when the pandemic came where time tested us with things that we were not sure what would happen. Although many problems came to us, we are happy that we overcame them and I learned something that I can use and apply to myself for the coming years of my life. And when 2021 all impossibilities became possibilities as I go through my next journey in life as a Senior High School student.

Fourteen.

Fourteen can be a pivotal age for both young people and their parents. Not only are many 14-year-olds just beginning high school, but they are also heading down the path toward becoming a healthy, responsible adult. This can be both exciting and challenging—for me as a kid then. This year as a 14 year old will make us think that it all started yesterday and we will experience many more joys and sorrows in the years to come.

At this age, many 14-year-olds are developing their unique identity, gaining independence, and likely exploring (or thinking about) romantic relationships. That can be a lot to take in as a parent. But, by providing plenty of supportive guidance and helping them gain the skills they need for a successful future, you both can weather this transition seamlessly. And this, I started to do things that can make me happy that I didn't experience much with my parents, I'm thinking of a way to enjoy the life I'm in.

Enjoying myself by spending my life with the people ay love and i'm happy with. This was in Pasay, Philippines. This is my first time to go to Manila to go on a field trip. I left at 5 am in the morning to go to our meet up and we got on the bus, they took me and gave me bonamin so I wouldn't get dizzy on the bus. I fell asleep on the trip until we got to Manila and I was in awe of the tall buildings, beautiful cars, and airplanes in the sky. The first thing we went to was a museum of American soldiers, there were many planes on display inside and I also saw many artifacts that were used or owned by someone. And after we were there, we went to the Mall of Asia to eat and wander around, and we chose Jollibee to eat and that's where this photo was taken.

Thirteen.

Transitioning from being a 12-year-old kid to a 13-year-old adolescent, you are bound to see some interesting changes. Not only will your child be making a mental shift as they begin to view themself as a teenager, but they also will be experiencing a variety of physical and emotional changes as well. Being a teenager is something where you realize that you have come a long way in life and that you have learned and learned many lessons while living.

Fitting in on things you don't sure about at making your life meaningful and this story is about a beginning of something new. This was my first week in high school, a lot of things happened on my first day of school at my old school when I was a junior high school in Banoyo National High School. The first story is on the first day of school because when I entered the gate of the school there were many students so I looked for where my old classmates were and I was also thinking that it would be difficult for me to adjust to high school life so I said let me just "bahala na". We were made to line up in the open classroom to mention which room and section we were in, and I ended up in Section C - Mahogany and right there I was already sad because I only had one classmate since Elementary but when I arrived three days later I was talked to the adviser of Section A for me to move the room because the other students didn't come in so they find someone else from the other section and that's why I ended up in Section A - Narra. Junior high school made me realize a lot that I can still use and help me until today.

Twelve.

During the 12 years, all of the changes that go along with the teen years happen slowly, giving you time to prepare. Day by day is another day of being and constantly maturing for things that I should know is right or wrong for my decisions as a child until I grow old, these steps are preparation for the life I will walk in the future in the way of challenging or dealing with it.

Typically, 12-year-olds have moments of both acting like the child you have always known and suddenly turning into a little adult right in front of you. Discover how to be prepared for the physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development that happens at this time. I think more about my tomorrow and how I can learn from this new day.

An experienceIi will love and enjoy for the rest of my life, being a kid who tries everything that I can possible to do. It is the month of May and because it is the month of May, the day of the Virgin Mary is always celebrated to give thanks for the graces and guidance given and for daily safety to us. Every year when I was a child, I always attended it during the whole month to offer prayers and flowers and after that there were those who gave food which we called "Nagpapa alay or Paalay". And at the end of the year of May, my sister and I were able to join so that she could be a Queen and this queen was the Queen Banderada, I don't know the what that meant which queen is that was. Here we partnered again and I was wearing a coat and my sister was wearing a gown that we borrowed from an acquaintance. The events of those days were fun, we parade all over our barangay and ate afterwards. I will be happy if we can repeat and experience things like this again.

Eleven.

The 11 years are upon you, and with my parents, some opportunities and challenges arise as a kid. Hanging out with your 11-year-old can be really fun as they're starting to understand the world and converse like mini-adults. This is where I learn things that are more important than things that I can't learn or know anything about, I became more aware of the things that I live with, but I chose to enjoy life more than to have problems at this age so I learned a lot in the life of those times.

However, the intensity and the drama of a pre-teen can be frustrating and difficult for a parent to handle. From the complex social dynamics at school to the physical changes that can confuse and embarrass a tween. Studying is difficult but we know that these difficulties have positive consequences, as a young person who still has little knowledge of what life means to me, I prefer to learn more than to learn things that are not important or need to know about.

Joining contest that surely helps me develop things in life. This is my last year in elementary school, maybe I'm making the most of the days that I'm in elementary school and will soon be in high school. It was at San Luis Central School because I joined BIGSAYWIT which means combined BIGkas, SAYaw, and aWIT. We also practiced for maybe a month so that we could represent our school for the San Luis District Competition, we spent our time and effort so that we could show what Banoyo Elementary School has. And for the knowledge of others, from grade 5 or 4, I always participate in these contests because this is where I shape the talent and what I have of our school. The person who took this photo must have been my mom after we presented and I look like I'm not in the mood because I'm shy to take a picture. What I'm wearing here is leggings and a black t shirt and a traditional in line with Philippine culture because it's language month.

Ten.

Reaching the age of 10, many will start to think of themselves as being almost teenagers. While some 10-year-olds will start looking and acting more mature, others will remain more child-like, both physically and emotionally.

"Ten-year-olds are emerging adolescents. Their bodies and brains are going through these tremendous changes,". This transformation can be startling for parents and also unsettling for their children, there are many changes that will change from the physical and personality of a child like me before. In this part of my life, maybe this is where small changes will begin, especially in how I interact with other people in different places and times.

Doing things that I thought I could never do again is one of the events that I want to repeat for the rest of my life. Just like when I was 8 years old I participated in our school's events such as the united nations where we need to wear or represent our chosen country to show the tradition or culture that exists in that country and when I was 10 years old, again I joined the school event to try again, the country I represented is the country of Paraguay which is in South America. Although I was not able to wear traditional clothes in the country I went to because there was no money to buy or rent clothes that fit my country but I am still happy that I tried this again even in my last time in elementary school. And the other story of this photo is my father because there is a part of the event where we will go up and hang the sash of our country and at that time my father is the one who attends and honor for me.

Nine.

Becoming a 9-year-old at home, I find myself engaged in long a long day playing with friends all day long. I feel happy and proud to see myself becoming more thoughtful about these steps of becoming a teenager, while also feeling a little overwhelmed by how passionate i am discussed about myself.

Nine-year-olds are maturing emotionally and becoming more cognitively advanced. In that stage i feel continuing to grow taller and stronger and I may be mentally ready to excel in sports and other physical activities. Age 9 can be a bit of a roller coaster.

This was a story 7 years ago, this may have been during the fiesta of our barangay where there was Little Miss and Mister Banoyo 2014, the money obtained for that competition all went to our Chapel for its reconstruction and repair. I was wearing a pink barong while my sibling was in her pink gown so that we can match and because our parents made us partners, but what I want to tell you is that earlier before this photo, I was one of the people who made our parade float from designing it. as far as to make it beautiful, I put flowers and other things together with my mom to make it even more stunning. After that event and that day I was very happy because I experienced things like that even once as a child and tried things like participating in this such contests.

Eight.

Age 8 can be a magical and fantastic year. It's the year that i becomes really a big kid. Middle childhood is a time of physical, mental, and emotional growth. It's possible to notice that I am no longer asks for parents help with my homework and I may be wanting to spend more time with my friends. It's the first steps on becoming matured in life where you are more focused on things that is important rather than things isn't. But at the same time i am trying to spend time with the family after doing such things that makes me happy.

Eight-year-olds are becoming more independent and more mature. You may be pleased to see that they begin to show genuine empathy for others and start to put others first in situations that they haven't before, such as happily letting a younger sibling go first in a family game. This age is not without its challenges, but overall, it tends to be a peaceful and enjoyable year between children and their parents.

In school, we mature and grow, try out new things we haven't tried yet for instance, a story of mine when i was in grade 2 and this is an event where we will wear the traditional clothing of the country we chose to present to the people what culture that country has, and the United Nations does this every year to highlight the countries around the world. And my parents and I chose the country of China because maybe they chose it because I look like a Chinese because maybe my eyes are narrow and i am white. I didn't win here but I'm happy that I was given the chance to try these kind of events because I might only get to do it once in my whole life. And in my few years in the world, I have witnessed incredible things because there have been many things that have changed my life, whether bad or happy. I want my children to be able to try it in the future to experience the fun things that I tried as a child.

Seven.

Being a 7-year-old boy can be a wonderful experience. They are social and crave in friendships with their peers, but are also happy to hang out with their parents. Some call this time the “sweet spot” of parenting. Connecting more to someone who makes you happy, a parents who even help you discover and meet new friends who's the same age as you so you can have a friend. It was one of the best year of being a kid, a 7 year old because this years makes you realizes in life and think of a situation where you wanted to always play and play.

We are going to see a lot of exciting developments in the next year. I will be very curious about the world around me—and ask a ton of questions! My reading and math skills will become more developed, and I’ll be able to write more legibly, tie their shoes on their own, and ride a two wheel bike. A very simple yet memorable experience of a lifetime as a kid that sadly turns to a memory as years pass.

Enjoying life and things you used to do, a kid who did not dream of a rich life but a good and happy life, this is a story of us where i am here with my aunt and my one and only sister again, we are at the beach because we were taken to wander around because maybe in a few days my aunt will be leaving to go to the laguna to work there so she invited us to wander around the beach ​​and of course we will take a picture together so that we can have a remembrance together as with her two nephew and niece. This photo doesn't have a story like that but I'm very happy with my youth that was really formed and I can say that the problems are not that difficult, I'm happy to see photos like this that we are together even for a small time and I will always remember and never forget because of the people we love who created our childhood journey memorable that we can look back on through the pictures captured until we grow old and have a family.

Six.

Being a 6-year-old is fun experience not only for me but also for my love ones. I am still young to get attention and care with people who loves me. At the same time, they are blossoming into their own person and character. I am adjusting to school and valuing my friendships in more meaningful ways. I also learning new skills faster than you can keep up with, and growing both physically and emotionally.

From this year, i realized the life i was belong that i am trying to figure out and fit in in where i can go and try, abilities that i feel i can do then. A special years of living in enjoyment with my parents and love ones, to cherish every seconds and minutes.

My younger sister is not just my sister but my bestfriend too. I want to introduce her with you using this photo, this is me and my younger sister, here you can really see that we have always been together since childhood until now, our life is still very simple, the kind where we don't think about tomorrow's problems but where we will wander to play and meet our friends. If we or I were given the opportunity to go back to the past like an event like this, I would also want to because I want to see the things I had before that I didn't have or changed now that I have matured to think. My sister and I are one of the happiest siblings you'll ever see because we're always together and we're never apart but there are times when we fight over little things so I'm happy with what happened to me before and because of this photo I can look back on the happy things that happened in my life as a kid.

Five.

Five years old can be a really fun age! I still feel little and adorable, still learning and discovering new things. Making my life live to the fullest without problem, keep my younger self in a good state of mind where every impossible can be possible anytime as a kid.

This age isn’t without its ups and downs. Five-year-olds are still learning to regulate their emotions, so meltdowns happen from time to time. Still, I am moving toward becoming more mature, and is able to do big kid things like going to school to create another memory with new people that i will interact with.

A school journey to remember for a lifetime, a first year learning story to chreish. This was the year when I first went to school and I didn't know what my life was like, as long as I was admitted, played, and studied in school here in our barangay, I was fine. I didn't even know then why I was in school but we know is to learn and from this picture it is my graduation day from kindergarten here at banoyo daycare center and I got many different medals like the most behaved, so far I don't believe that I behaved as a child and I was not naughty. In this picture I am with my godmother in the baptism and I don't know why she stood up and hung the medals on me and why not my parents but I am happy every time I see pictures like this because I realized that it all started here and it will soon end in the coming of years that I have been studying in senior high school and college by next year.

Four.

At 4, I was ready for the stage when imaginative play is all the rage, and you can begin to have fuller, fascinating conversations with your toddler. As far as i can remember that every child has their own ability, an ability to comunicate even if as a kiddo, an ability to love something you met and used to be with, and this ability should every kid have.

There are times when we suddenly think that a lot has changed from our appearance and new knowledge in life, especially as a child. Years that we enjoy being young because in the next years, some things will change and make us realize that time really moves.

I have a story with my little sister where i discover how we bond together when we are young. My sibling has not only been my younger sister since childhood but because she is also been my friend. I was able to tell her stories and things happened to me that I wanted to tell to someone that I couldn't tell our parents. I often fight with her, but in truth, I always like to trip or make fun of her and fool her from then until now. This photo was taken by my aunt and as I remember we were at the beach and our mother was hanging clothes. Our aunt gave it to us in a hard copy so we can display it at home. I also like the border of the picture because they are yellow worms and in the picture we are only wearing pajamas because maybe we just woke up and we or I always went to seashore to get some air and play.

Three.

Many parents feel relieved to move past the “terrible twos” phase, and hope that their child will become a little easier to manage and less prone to meltdowns. But 3-year-olds can still be difficult to parent at times, as they learn to control their emotions and sort through their big feelings.

This year was a year to always remember, the joy and happiness I've enjoyed in my life with my parents who are the there who give laugher and makes me happy everyday, they witnessed the gradual change of myself and in these years I learned to speak and talk to other people that I interact with.

Everything will change when time comes, once in a year we always celebrate our birthdays that surely realizes us that we have passed another year of our life with success and enjoyment. Time is very important to everyone especially as a child because I think the day will also come when everything will change from the looks to the personality we have.

Afterall, i want to share a story coming from this photo. Here I'm with my Auntie or Tita in Tagalog where as you can see that I'm at the back of tricycle because maybe I'm playing with my childhood friends and I know that i am naughty because of this photo of course that first I'm young and I just having fun but we'll get back to this picture makes me happy that my aunt captures my past that I can go back to whenever I want. I admire my aunt because she captured the beautiful moments of my life from childhood until now and I am happy that we had this bond with her and I am happy that I was very happy as a kid and if you will witness about the smiles and I look like I'm happy and if I'm not mistaken, this was our tricycle here in Batangas because my aunt used to live here and it also could have been in Mindoro when we were on vacation.

Two.

At age 2, I started to grow and learn new things with the people I love, they taught me simple things that will help me develop the skills that while I was young I could start to show and properly for my growth is I can use these skills and talents to try something that neither they nor I thought I could do.

They are the people who gave me the attention to try the things I wanted to do as a baby until I had the knowledge of the things I was in. My parents taught me new knowledge that will help me as I grow up, even though it's been a decade and four years since then, everything they taught me is I think I can still use today.

The story of this photo is that this was in Oriental Mindoro Naujan to be specific, my mother's hometown when she was a teenager, here i am with my mom, my little sister and my grandmother, how lovely to see the three generations on us. We were always on a vacation every May a year to visit my mother's parents and my grandparents aswell. Now that I'm older I can see and witness how beautiful the home my mother used to be, I want to go back there again and again to take a walk and see the beautiful fields, rivers, and trees and how nice the breeze at the farmside.

I used to love jelly ace and eat it like i will never have tommorow, in my hand as you can see i have my favorite color and flavor of jelly ace which is orange that i really love back then until now that i am older.

One.

My parents said that during the 12 months between ages 1 and 2, my parents watched me at the start until now to become less like an infant and more like a toddler and a teen as i grow! They witness a physical transformation as I begins to master new developments that help me gain a bit of independence and they'll likely begin to see my unique personality emerge.

A year with my parents, thanks for the life they gave, and the seconds, minutes, hours, days, months, and years to come and spent with them. Changes will stay but as the year passes I'm sure to stay the sermons and laughs i felt with them.

I also want to go back to the times when I was young because I know that my inner childhood will be happy because I will have the chance to witness the things happened in my life but still, I am very happy with what I have now.
