Business Analysis and ROI
The key components that clients would consider most important in marketing would be the following:
S.W.O.T: A true understanding of your strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats allow marketers a chance to plan ahead and know how properly plan. These key parts of your marketing plan are tailored to help make your plan successful.
Market Research:  “Collect, organize, and record information pertinent to the market you want to target, and include both the controllable and uncontrollable variables that influence this market.”
Research is key before a large task or project is being worked on.  In order to make sure that your plan is successful market research is important to your influence to the target market.
Target Market: “Understand where your product / service fits in the market and describe who you want to reach, why this is important and how you’re going to do it.”
In order to deliver an effective marketing plan, marketers need to understand how their product meshes with the market being targeted.  Without this true understanding you product may not have an effect on your target market.
Products/Services:  Explain your product; showcase how it will impact the audience being targeted.  Learn more about it and use your S.W.O.T analysis to help adjust it if needed to better suit the needs of your target market.
Competition: Be knowledgeable of your competitors. Study them, what are they doing better, what are they doing worse.  You want to find out how you can separate yourself from them and truly make an impact that your target market can connect to.
Budget: “What strategies can you afford? What can you do in house, what do you need to outsource?”
Plans for budget are important for the client if they can’t afford it or is something that they cannot do themselves they need to know how and how much.  Lack of this will affect the overall plan and financial aspects of the plan.
Monitor Results: “Test and analyze. Identify the strategies that are working through customer feedback:”
Results and feedback is key to helping the marketer deliver everything the client wants and needs.  It helps when working through the hiccups in the plan and also helps for the future of the plan and what needs to be adjusted for a successful plan. Not to mention these monitored results allows us to track the ROI of the plan. Gives the client a better feeling about the plan and what they are gaining from it.
 Best,
Jonathan

History of Mobility and Wireless Technology
Greetings,
Like everyone else I believe that inception of the cell phone has been the most impactful evolution to our society. Cell phones and wireless technology have dramatically changed the way that we communicate forever.  No more smoke signals, no more telegrams and no more walkie-talkies.  Cell phones have completely mobilized our world. Now and days we can communicate from anywhere at anytime. Since the mobilization of technology the way we communicate has evolved to what we see now.
Traditional Forms of media are gradually fading out.  We no longer have to rush home to watch the 5 o’clock news, turn on the radio or wait for the morning paper.  Cell Phones and there wireless technology has given us everything we need instantaneous. We now receive news and updates via push notifications or alert directly on our handsets.   The creation of mobile applications also has help with the evolution of cell phones, without them the way we interact daily would be impossible.  No more social media updates, no more mobile banking, no more sport updates and most importantly no more business to consumer interaction.  The growth of cell phones has allowed these businesses to actively engage with consumers always. They have adapted their work to how the consumer is using technology.  In a face-paced world that is constantly evolving, cell phones have been the start of what is to come in the future.
 Best,
Jonathan

2014 MLB Anniversaries
Of course the 100th anniversary of Wrigley Field is top on the minds of MLB this season but there are a few other interesting (and ignominious) anniversaries this season:
1919 - Chicago White Sox throw the ‘19 World Series against the Cincinnati Reds
1924 - Washington, D.C. wins it’s one, and so far, only World Series
1934 - The Cardinals’ Gas House Gang beats the Tigers in the World Series
1939 - On July 4, the Yankees will celebrate the 75th anniversary of Lou Gehrig’s “Luckiest Man” speech
1954 - Willie Mays’ catch
1969 - 45th anniversary of the Miracle Mets
1974 - Hank Aaron passes Babe Ruth on April 8
1979 - Thurman Munson dies in a airplane crash on August 3
1984 - The Tigers win the World Series after leading the AL from wire-to-wire
1989 - An earthquake interrupts game 3 of the BART series (Giants vs. A’s)
1994 - Baseball players’ strike ends the season early and cancels the World Series for the first time since 1905
1999 - This awesome All-Star Game moment (Jump to 36:10)
2004 - Red Sox win their first World Series since 1918
Not a complete list but we’re OK with that.
