Sculpture Homework 2
1. If skills and resources were no obstacle, of all the works I looked at, I would most enjoy myself is Spencer Finch.
Lux and Lumen by Spencer Finch.
I like it because it had more details, and it had more obstacle than one picture that I see in book maganizes.
Yes, the work reminded to me of any other artists that is designer, three-dimensional, and actor because the artist was very famous and made more 3D Design with two box, and the artist design on the box that showed more interesting.
2. The most striking or salient comment that the sculptor made is
Left: spring, wood, Center: Migrant, Right: Thought.
“This is the sadness of 19th century art. There is something terribly melancholic about it, because they were doing their absolute best to make sculpture that resembled a person, and it didn’t.” Page 23
This comment resonated because it showed more serious for artist to build this. I think they need to make sculpture more as plants in spring. They needs to have their good ideas to put artwork in real life.
3. The most, I like
Hanne Darboven, Leben, Ieben.
I like this because I enjoy being architect and be interest in building house. Artist was an architecture and building house. Hanna have good ideas to building sculpture in Hanna’s life.
4. a. Augusta Rodin

2. I think I would most enjoy seeing the “Double Torqued Ellipse” by Richard Serra.
3. I chose this because it shows more details, and it is as circles and he made it with crack straight on the wall. I liked to walk through the wall and around go in the circle.

Phyllida Barlow, installation view of “demo.”
https://www.hauserwirth.com/artists/50/phyllida-barlow/biography/
While I explain this artist who was unfamiliar, I think this picture look as factory, but not perfect, so artist needs to add more details on this work, so people would see and think what he made this.
Installation view- Kingsley Strength, Stoneware, and DAM Nebraska - Salt fired stoneware, and 65 Feet Below Copocity, stoneware.
While I explain this work, I think this is looking as animals with molecular, but I didn’t know who made this. But, they made more sculptures as animals.
Cornelia Parker, Transitional Object Installation at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, NY.
https://www.hauserwirth.com/artists/50/phyllida-barlow/biography/
While I explain artist’s work who was unfamiliar, I think this old house is really great. Cornella did a great work building the house that show more details on this.
I found out on website about artists, but every artists didn’t have other artist’s work, so there is no more than one artists.
2. I will most enjoy the “Transitional Object “ and like seeing the old house. I chose this because this shows more details on this work. Cornella built and add more details as colors: brown with white frames around windows and doors, more textures on this as a 3D design.

Sculpture
1.
I think the artist made art about bike. The artist use part of wood and metal to make bike. It looks as a real bike in the world.
2. I have one my favorite artist in the sculpture. It is Erik and Martin. They built with curved creased to make sculpture.
3. Yes. art is very important because it showed by Erik and Martin. They made more values sculpture in the world.
4. I want to make art about abstract or portrait by using wood or metal and some glass to make this sculptures.
5. I will like to use plaster and wood and metal to make more important sculptures. For an example, this picture show a pearl with metal with wood and some plaster inside.
6.
If a space showed that I have explain this, a woman with baby is very beautiful because it show more gold metal around sculpture.
7.
If space alien showed that I explained this, the circle scuipture is ugly because it showed all black, not shine or metal. I think artist need to put more value around this sculpture.

chMoLe1. Vanessa Beecroft
2. Much criticism has leveled of Beecroft:
This shows that Vanessa have more challenge to make film of art star that shows of hiding camera and try to hurt you.
3. My perspective is showing one woman had bad thing in her life. She showed naked women in her life, and a person try to hurt at her. I think this picture is not good because this shows a person use gun. It makes me feel afraid.
4. Marco Maggi
Lentissimo, 1957, reams of photocopy paper, roll of aluminum foil, eye-glass lenses, and acrylic parking mirrors.
Monochrome (Solar Yellow), 2014, cuts and folds on 225.38 mm papers as slide mounts.
Drop, 2009, cuts on plexiglas cubes, 5 small plexiglas, plexi sheets and wood shelf.
5. Maggi uses the materials that he chooses because he shows more create and how make things more inspire than painting or drawing. He enjoys these materials that he likes to make more interesting things and show to peoples in the world.
6. The most sense to me is using aluminum foil, eye-glass lenses, and mirror.
7. China Adams
If I could ask China Adams any questions, It would be:
a. How could China Adams make this picture?
b. What perspective did Adams make this picture?
c. What emotion did Adams draw or paint pictures in his life?
8. If I was showing someone a couple of image/video of Adam’s work that best illustrates what her work is about,
They would be used paint or draw the lines or waves, and add some dots or bumps on pictures. She hear the music and draw the same time when she hear this sing. These pictures would be about lines and waves and use of languages that she write on paper that show how she feel the music.

1. In picture #1, I think an artist makes about the floor plan of a building. In Picture #2, I think an artist makes about dinours. These two pictures are 3D Design.
2. My favorite artist in 3D Design is #1 artist because the artist uses diversity kinds of materials to build the cool things with feelings.
3. The most important art is the floor plan of a building because the artist makes more interest things than disnours.
4. The first picture would be about building the houses and building more high and more values. The second picture would be about alligator.
5. The first picture provides artist to use wood, plastic, and plaster. The second picture provides artist to use foam and wood.
6. If space that I provided the floor plan is beautiful because the artist worked more hard and have good idea to set the plan.
7. If space that I provided the dinours is ugly because the artist always make easy and not set more materials to building. It makes by just foam and wood.
