the way Europe has so neatly pushed Jewish history aside and sanitized it for their consumption and appropriation really gets to me. because then they don’t “understand” why a Jewish state is needed. they say, “oh we accept all. we don’t like any religion.” but then their churches are skyscrapers and the graveyards of my ancestors are desecrated and falling apart.
