Halloween/Christmas are man-made traditions. The question has to be “ Do we love Jesus more than man-made traditions?

Abandoning the command of God, you hold on to human tradition.” He also said to them, “You have a fine way of invalidating God’s command in order to set up your tradition!”

I posted this in early 2020 as the virus was making its claim to fame, but it’s still relevant now.

The Beginning of Sorrows

Listen, the topic I am feeling on my heart is not something of rainbows and butterflies but it is of importance. When Jesus sat on the hill that day and his people asked him what will be the signs of your coming, He answered them this way:

“As he sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, "Tell us, when will these things be, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?"”

“For many will come in my name, saying, 'I am the Christ,' and they will lead many astray.”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭24:5‬ ‭

Many people are rising up claiming to be Jesus or claiming to be the messiah.

“And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, for this must take place, but the end is not yet.”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭24:6‬ ‭

Iran, China and Russia are in the news frequently and are ramping up their countries by doing military drills with one another. Anyone who studies Bible prophecy will tell you, these are the countries foretold of in Revelation. Google it.

“For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places.”

Nation against nation. If we look at the Greek meaning for nation it means ethnicity. We are seeing violence unparalleled in this country and around the world. We are seeing race wars and unrest in the streets.

Famines are happening everywhere and yes even in the United States as covid 19 has stopped everyone and everything in its tracks. Food shortages, people being unemployed, standing in line at food banks in Texas for 12 hours at a time. World economic specialists are predicting the worst famine upon the United States in 2021 as new lockdowns and mandates are put into place.

Earthquakes in diverse places. Google the earthquakes in the last 24 hours. They are everywhere and continual.

“All these are but the beginning of the birth pains.”

And THIS.... THIS is just the beginning.  The beginning of birth pangs. Scripture says that such things will

Come upon the earth that will make men’s hearts stop. Horrors are coming upon this earth that will make even the elect decide to turn away from Jesus.

“"Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for my name's sake. And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another.”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭24:9-10‬ ‭ESV‬‬

And lawlessness will continue. Violence in the streets as laws are abolished, babies are slaughtered because of lawlessness in the courts, marriage being made a mockery, good being called evil and evil being called good. “And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold.”

I have never in this history of my life seen such hatefulness around me.  People have just grown cold and indifferent. Sure there is some good out there but it was prophesied that the world would grow cold because of increased lawlessness.

You’ve heard it for years. But the reality is that we are in the end times, as the things aforementioned are actually happening in sequence with the word of God.

My question to you do you know Him? Are you prepared for what the future of America is going to look like? It’s not 20 years from now, it’s right in our back yard.

Get your life in order because nothing is more important than eternity.

When you surrender entirely, completely, nothing on this earth pleases you anymore. You just want Him. You desire Him, you comprehend that there's nothing in this world (that is coming to an end) that will satisfy and fill you like Jesus does. He is our fullness.

Stop chasing after the offers of this world. Stop consuming content that is not pleasing to God, that only drives you away from Him and leaves you feeling guilty and dirty. Decide today who you want to serve. Decide where you want to spent eternity.

Jesus is coming and believe me, He don't want anyone to perish but to proceed to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). Today is the day to accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour. Today is the day to decide.

And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
