I think that despite all the transphobic rhetoric that discourages trans mascs, lesbians and non binary people from getting top surgery,

the fact that it is a somewhat commonly achieved and normalised step* for so many is an amazing feat we've achieved in the community.

*it's absolutely not something people need to get to be a trans masc / dyke / non binary, but I'm glad that there's all this art of it celebrating it, there's community and resources, there's celebration of it, etc. 🌈 I am not claiming it's EASY or CHEAP to get top surgery

in spite of all the terfs and transphobes claiming it will ""disfigure you"" or """make you ugly""" 😏

7 years ago I made a Redbubble shirt that said something like "my partner transitioned and now I'm gay" with the description specifying this is for my specific scenario and I know other relationships may not be like this.

and so many people tore me apart for it on Tumblr lmao
