But something about Sam and Jess felt so innocent, real and MFEO (their chemistry was spot on), I can't let it go. To me, Jess was Sam's one true love. I mourned her loss with Sam. Those brief grieving moments we see.. they wreck my heart 💔

I'm still bitter about not getting more Stanford Era glimpses. Would trade Amy Pond's story arc for it 😭😭😭

being with Jess was unreal. It was dust motes in the air, it was sun glare in the camera. Beautiful sure, but not real. Dean was real. Dean was solid, his brother. Black eyes and skinned knees. Real.

He loved Jess more than he's loved anyone, maybe. Fairytale, laughing untill it hurts. It could never last. He was always wanting more, when he was a kid. Then he got it. Fairy godmothers.

Dean showed up in his apartment and it didn't surprise him. Who's ever gotten out of a horror story. Jess was lovely, she couldn't last. Nothing gold can stay.

When he stepped back into life with Dean it was like something in his heart restarted. It was like Stanford was just- gone. He kissed his brother as he used to- nothing has changed.

Today I discussed with my friend that Dean and Sam are like oysters. They protect themselves with very hard shells. Dean's shell was badly damaged in the early seasons, but Sam's was destroyed more seriously by various things over time and his shell was almost broken. In the end they moved into the same shell...
