First comic attempt and I’m pretty happy! As a kid, I always wanted to draw my own comics (I’m a massive comic nerd) but would just sketch characters instead. I still wanted to do them but never gave them a go. Intimidated? Yes! This morning I took yet another class by @iramarcks (seriously, his classes are really fun) called “Draw a Diary Comic” so I attempted my first stab at comics and I’m instantly in love! Once I dropped my perfectionist ways, I just went with the flow and had a lot of fun. COMIC INSPIRATION: We discovered a Sonoran Desert Toad in our backyard shortly after we got our puppy, Juno, a few weeks ago. These toads are highly toxic to dogs and I was more worried our Golden Retriever, Maggie, would find it (she eats everything). I trapped it and relocated it once, but it showed back up 24 hours later... then my husband and I trapped him again, this time he took it for a drive to relocate him much further away and in a better area for him. He hasn’t returned and it’s been about a week, yay!
