                                                Intramural

Intramural is a recreational sports organized within a particular institution, usually an educational institution,or a set of geographic area.Intramural is fun, recreational,social,and competitive on campus for every students,faculty,and  staff.These are designed with the everyday athlete,just like you.These serve as an excellent tool for enjoying time with friends.Through this we can learn sportsmanship.intramural is a great way to engage in friendly competition to every  student in that particular area or in school.This program also provide students with the opportunity to participate in numerous activities like basketball, volleyball,soccer, and even Filipino famous games like patintero,sipak takraw, limburak,and many more.This kind of program is one of the most awaited  activity in the school.Through intramural,we can also meet more friends.The  friendship of each other is being develop.We all know that intramural involves  sports.Sports that may help to develop our own abilities and skills.Also arts  involve in intramural.We can express our feelings,thoughts,and emotions  through arts.Life is like a sport.Sometimes you win,sometimes you lose.But the game always goes on.Never give up.Always think positive.Never underestimate your own self if you can’t do that plays you want.Intramural is fun.It can help  you to excel in some sports.It can also help you to lessened your problems. Confident,determination,and hard works must be in your self when you play.

 This year 2016,Don Mariano Canoy Colleges celebrated its 46th Foundation  Day and Intramural on October 24-27 with the theme “Forging Teamwork and  Camaraderie.”Before the week of intramural,all the students even the staff and faculty were all busy of preparing,practicing,and organizing the program just to have a successful event.Intramural is the biggest event that happens in our  school.It may be the one of the unforgettable event that being treasured to the mind and heart of every students.But first,we had the thanksgiving mass lead  by our Catholic church father,Mon Senior.He told us the meaning of the theme.Students and pupils in Don Mariano Canoy Colleges offered some fruits and  money.After the mass we were all busy of the final rehearsal.Busy of rehearsing all the steps in dance.Busy of designing the stage and busy of preparing all  the props for dancing.The time is over.The intramural of Don Mariano Canoy  Colleges is in the day.But before we proceed to the gym,we had the motorcade parade.Of course intramural is not quite successful without that.All were  dressed by different colors corresponding to their teams.The Freshmen  represented by the Grade 7 students were all in green.The Sophomores  represented by the Grade 8 students were all in yellow.The Juniors  represented by the Grade 9 students were all in red.The Seniors represented  by the Grade 10 students were all in blue.Each team prepared and presented  a dance for the dance mania and also for the best dance crew.The winners in  the dance mania were the Sophomores for the 2nd runner up,Seniors for the  1st runner up, and the Juniors were the champions.For me all of us who  competed the were all champions.The winners in the  “Best Dance Crew” were  the Sophomores for the 2nd runner up,the Juniors for the 1st runner up and  the Seniors won The Best Dance Crew.But first let me write all the happenings  in Ms. and Mr. DMCC.Beautiful ladies and gentlemen were all coming with their proud parents and brilliant attires to compete with each other in the school.They also brought their make up artist.When the pageant started the audience  were all in the eyes to the candidates.They were all shouting and cheering to  their representatives.Each of the section must have a female and a male  representative.Cheering and shouting have a big impact to the candidates  because it can help them to win one of the prizes.Ms. Kate Ternate,our  beautiful and intelligent classmate got the title and crowned as the new Ms. DMCC 2016.Mr.Dan Almonia also crowned as the new Mr.DMCC 2016.All of us were being proud specially their parents.The sports were being divided.There were women category and men category.The Sophomores defeated the Juniors in volleyball in the women category.In the male category,vice versa,the Seniors defeated the Sophomores and won the championship.In the basketball,women category,the juniors bring home the bacon and in the men,the seniors won.In all,the over all champion of 2016 Intramural were the Juniors.They defended their winning tittle.The first runners up were the Seniors and the third runners up were the Sophomores.All enjoyed and happy after the awarding because the next was color rave party.I am so overwhelmed and thankful to all HSC officers  because they organized the party.

 I know that this kind of activity is always treasured to our minds and individual  hearts because of the moments that cannot be forget.Until now I miss our  intramural.All the happiness,hard works,craziness is always be remembered.A  nice and great experienced were done.We enjoyed the week of intramural.You can talk and have a date with your crushes because of the booths that were  being prepared.All I can say is I love this kind of intramural.

    Nutrition month is designed to raise each person’s awareness of the food value of what they eat.It provides us a knowledge about the food that we’ve eat and the effects to our health.Proper nutrition must be stuck in our mind.Proper nutrition involves eating the right kind of foods that are rich in vitamins,calcium,iron,protein,etc..Proper nutrition also involves caring our physical health.But for me the qualifications of being healthy is that not only in physical aspect butt also the four remaining aspects.The mental,social, spiritual and emotional.Health is the state of well-being that has given by God.Health is wealth.Every month of July we are celebrating the Nutrition Month.It is important to celebrate this kind celebration because we all know that Nutrition Month is all about proper nutrition.Nutrition Month highlights the First 1000 Days ni baby pahalagahan para sa magandang kinabukasan.It is important to all new moms and of course to their new babies.Mothers should know the best.Mothers should also know the significance of the theme.They should attend programs that are supported by the government that tackles about the theme.It helps them to decide and to give them some knowledge of being a mom.This is paragraph all about Nutrition Month.

      Every month of July,Don Mariano Canoy Colleges is celebrating a simple but joyful nutrition month.There are variety of games that are being played.These games may be in physical or in mental.All the faculty prepares different games like amazing race,pinoy henyo,limburak,eating raw vegetables and many more.It is so fun.July 28,2016 was our culmination day of the nutrition month.The theme was “First 1000 Days ni Baby Pahalagahan Para sa Magandang Kinabukasan”.Every pupils and students were showing their talents through singing,dancing,drawing and even in playing.Students were very active in every activities.They don’t care the hot temperature in the outside.They enjoyed every activities with all their hearts specially me.We the glee club opens the program in the elementary department with a prayer song and the national anthem,Lupang Hinirang.It was a great pleasure to sung with my schoolmates and classmates.As I say earlier that the theme was “First 1000 Days ni Baby Pahalagahan para sa Magandang Kinabukasan ”.We made slogans and posters about this theme.We students were all competing.We made also fantastic jingles that relate to the theme.Nutrition month is not quite complete without Mr. And Ms..All the candidates in every sections were all beautiful with their attires.Their attires can surely catch the eye of every audience.Of course every pageant has a question and answer portion.All the candidates looked nervous.They all have the beauty and brain.Our fellow classmates,Lorna Pacanza and Arwin Gabe were among the candidates.As the classmates of them,we showed our full support.We were all shouting and cheering.Our adviser was very proud to them even though they did not win.They give all their best.Ms. Jasmine Jadap and Mr.Kit Elias Gerald of Grade 8-Newton won the title of Ms. and Mr. Nutrition Month.All was fun.Every great moments were being treasured.I love the sportsmanship and friendship of every students.

      This year’s nutrition month is great.All enjoyed the activities that was being prepared specially me and my classmates,the Grade 8 Gemini.I myself learned a lot from the start down to the end.I joined the quiz bowl and essay writing.Even though I didn’t won but it was a great pleasure for me to be chosen as a representative in the class.I didn,t refused the opportunity.In the quiz bowl,the questions and answers that being asked and were difficult to answered were copied to my vocabulary.It was a nice experienced.Through that activity I learned so much.All the abilities and skills of every student in that particular area were being enhanced.We enjoyed also of the pamilihang bayan.The Grade 8 students reunited to build an indigenous store.We sold different nutritious foods like fruits,vegetables,and even Filipino famous food kakanin.It was great because many people bought our fghgf and we earned lot of money.We won!We are all happy because our hard works were being payed to a victory.I conclude also that the significance of the theme is to aware all mothers specially to all new moms that the first 1000 days ni baby should be in attention because it can lead them to a better future.Mothers should know the proper caring to their babes.They should maintain breastfeeding so that baby is always happy and healthy.Babies should also have the maintenance of vaccination.When baby reached the exact time to eat,moms should know always the all the exact foods.They should teach their babies to eat the right kind of food.Babies are easily attached by the diseases that surrounds them when they have a low immune system.Mothers should also have the proper hygiene to their babies to avoid diseases.That’s all I can say to the theme.I know that some of my words were being repeated but by this essay you can learn something.

          Tuwing buwan ng Agosto,ipinagdiriwang natin ang buwan ng wika sa ating bansa.May mga patimpalak na ginagawa saang sulok man sa ating bansa..Alam mo ba kung bakit natin idinidiwang ito?Simple lang ang sagot diyan.Kailangan nating ipagdiriwang ito upang pahalagahan ang sariling wika natin.Wikang nagpapaunlad sa ating bansa.Wikang ginagamit natin sa pang araw-araw na kumunikasyon.Wikang Filipino lang iyan.Ang wikang Filipino ay ang ating wikang pambansa.Ito ang gamit nating salita.Huwag pahalagahan ang mga wikang banyaga.Sa panahon natin ngayon,may mga nagsasabi na matatalino daw ang mga nagsasalita ng mga wikang banyaga gaya ng Inglis,Espanyol.Korean,Mandarin at iba pa.Pero hindi naman sinusukat ang katalinuhan sa pamamagitan ng pagsasalita ng mga wikang banyaga.Parang mas pinapahalagahan mo pa ang ibang wika kaysa sa wikang nakasanayan mo.Dapat ay taas noo nating ipagmalaki ang ating sariling wika.Alam niyo ba kung sino ang ama na wikang Filipino at kung bakit tinawag siyang ama ng ating wikang pambansa?Si Manuel L. Quezon lang sagot diyan.Siya ay tinawag na ama ng wikang Filipino dahil siya ang nagsulong at nagtatag ng wikang Filipino.Ayon sa kanya,kailangang magkaroon ng iisang wikang ginagamt ang Pilipinas para magkaintindihan ang mga Pilipinong tulad natin.Kahanga-hanga ang ginawa ni Manuel L. Quezon.Tunghayan natin kung ano ang mga nangyari sa aming paaralan noong nakaraang Agosto.

      Noong nakaraang Agosto,sa paaralan ng Don Mariano Colleges,kami ay nagdiwang ng buwan ng wika.May mga patimpalak kaming ginawa.Kami ay nagtutulong-tulungan upang magkaroon ng masaya at masigarbong selebresasyon.Kami ay nagkaroong ng patimpalak sa pagguhit.Sobrang kaakit-akit lahat ng mga ginawa nila tungkol sa tema ng buwan ng wika.Mayroon ding mga mag-aaral na sumali sa paligsahan ng pagkanta.Napakasarap pakinggan ng kanilang mga mala boses anghel.Alam naming kinakabahan sila habang humahataw sa entablado,kaya’t binigyan namin sila ng buong suporta.Kahit ubos na ang mga boses namin,sigaw ng sigaw parin kami upang maipadama sa kanila ang aming mga suporta.May mga larong pinoy rin kaming ginawa.Abala rin kami sa paghahanda sa aming munting kainan para sa aming pista sa nayon.Nagdala kami ng mga simple pero masasarap na mga pagkain.Syempre hindi mawawala ang lakan at lakambini.Bago nag-umpisa ang patimpalak sa lakan at lakambini,lahat ng mga kandidata at kandidato ay naghanda ng kanilang mga susuotin,Lahat ay nagpaganda.Syempre kami rin ay naghanda.Kami ay nagsuot ng mga kasuotang pang Filipino noon gaya ng kemona para sa mga kababaihanat barong tagalog naman para sa mga kalalakihan.Inumpisahan namin ng pagdadasal at pagkanta sa ating Lupang Hinirang ang paligsahan.Syempre kailangang umpisahan ng padarasal ang isang paligsahan upang magpasalamat at humingi ng proteksyon sa ating Poong Maykapal.Nang nag sisilabasan na ang ang lakan at lakambini,todo suporta ang ginawa namin.Parang wala ng bukas.Napakaganda nilang tignan habang nakasuot ng magagandang Pilipinong kasuotan.Ang mga babae ay parang si Maria Clara lang noon.Ipinapakita nila kung ano ang toong dalagang Pilipina.Ang mga kalalakihan naman ay makikisig na lumakad.Kung sila ay nagkakatabi parang si Malakas at Maganda lang naman.Parang dihado at kinabahan sila ng dumating na ang mga katanungan galing sa mga hurado.Ipinamangha nila ang mga hurado sa kanilang mga sagot.Hindi lang sila totoong maganda kundi matalino pa.Nanalo bilang lakan si at nanalo ring lakambini si.Hindi pa tapos ang paligsahan.Kinain namin yong mga dala naming mga pagkain.Ang sarap pala sa pakiramdam na natapos ang paligsahan sa pamamagitan ng kainan.

      Masasabi kung napakaswerte nating mga Pilipino dahil nagkaroon tayo ng sariling wika.Wikang sobrang napakahalaga.Kailangan nating mahalin ang ating sariling wika sa pamamagitan ng pagpapahalaga at paggunita nito.Sa pamamagitan ng paggugunita.makikita natin ang kahalagahan ng ating wikang pambansa.Makikita natin kung gaano kaganda ang ating sariling wika.Kung tayo ay maggugunita,huwag nating kalimutan kung sino ang dahilan kung bakit tayo may ganito.Kailangan din nating pahalagahan at magpasalamat sa taong nagtatag sa ating wika.Si Manuel Luis Quezon ang taong ito.Siya ay isang magandang modelo na pangulo dahil inuna niya ang kapakanan ng mga Pilipino tulad natin.Hindi niya pinabayaan ang kanyang mga nasasakupan.Masasabi ko ring napakasarap pakinggan na pinapahalaghan ang ating wikang pambansa.Ang wikang Filipino ay dapat pahalagahan para ang bansang Pilipinas ay umunlad.Ito ay nakakatulong sa ating ekonomiya..Kailangan din nating ipaalam sa mga mas nakababata pa sa atin na dapat pahalagahan at mahalin ang wikang Filipino upang maidala pa nila ito at maipasa sa mga susunod pang henerasyon.Ang pagkakaroon ng sariling wika ay parang nakamit rin natin ang ating kapayapaan laban sa mga banyaga.Huwag nating baliwalain ang ating wika.Sabi nga sa ating tanyag na bayani na si Dr. Jose Rizal, ang hindi daw marunong magmahal sa sariling wika ay higit pa amoy sa malansang isada.Ito ay totoong kasabihan.Kasabihan na kailangang itatak sa ating mga  kaisipan.Bakit nga naman kailangang ikahiya ang sariling wika.Mas mahihiya nga ang sariling wika mo sa iyo dahil hindi ka marunong magpahalaga at magmahal sa kanya.Simple lang sabihin ang magpahalaga ngunit mahirap gawin sa iyo.

    Christmas is the season where love and happiness are being spread.It is also the season of giving and forgiving.We celebrate this every 25th of December to commemorate the birth of our Jesus Christ.This festival is celebrated all over the world.People in this day are busy of shopping and preparing for the celebration.Christmas is symbolized by stars hanging in every corner of the streets or inyour house,Christmas lights,musics about Christmas, and etc..This is traditionally done in our community.It is important to celebrates this kind of festival because the Son of God was born.Of course Christmas is not complete without presents.Children are so happy in this day because they will receive some gifts given from their loving parents,cousins and neighbors.Christmas leaves a long lasting effect to our life even though it only happens once a year.Let’s celebrate Christmas with a great and joyful happenings.Through Christmas we can learn how togive and forgive.We can learn also that loving and sharing should be there.Christmas is one of the reason why families were all together.Gathering memories that can’t be forgotten.This season may we never forget the love we had for Jesus.Merry Christmas to all and let’s enjoy the holiday season.

  I am so lucky to live this kind of place.A place where people helping each other Riots never happened in this community.I really admire the people in this comunity.Before Christmas,people in Zone 1 Mindanilla were busy of preparing their Christmas decors.They put their Christmas lights along their streets.They were busy of hanging their lanterns.People were so excited especially children because there will be a league of volleyball and basketball that will happen every night.When December 16 came,me and my cousins went to church every 4:00 a.m in the morning to attend the mass.This is the Nine Days Novena before Christmas.This is traditionally done in every Catholic church until Christmas Eve.When the Christmas Eve finally came,children were too noisy because of torotot.They did not used fire crackers because it’s too dangerous for them without the help of their parents.My mom and her sister were busy of preparing foods for the noche buena.Some people watched the basketball league outside.They were all focused to their game because it’s a championship battle.They enjoyed the game and the sportsmanship was still there.After the game the people were busy of preparing their selves for the mass especially me.While we had a mass in the church,the children in our place were happy when they played some parlor games that were being prepared.They received some prizes.They appreciated those prizes.When we went home from the church,I felt sleepy while waiting for the Christmas.So I enjoyed myself through watching the children playing outside in our house.I laughed a lot and I am so happy to watched them smiling and enjoying.When I smelled something savory and not disgusting,I felt hungry so I ate foods not too much for my little tummy.After an hour,Christmas was already in the house.It’s so great when you and your family welcomed the Christmas completely.We ate all the together the noche buena.I am so thankful to our Almighty God because He gave us blessings.He guide us and protected us from harmful incidents to celebrate the birth of His Son,Jesus Christ.The fireworks were colorful up in the sky.Torotots were noisy.I am so happy and grateful to celebrate the Christmas with my family.Some people in our community were like Santa during Christmas,especially the sister of my mom.But not only during Christmas but also in some regular days.They gave gifts to some children also to some parents.I received a watch from the sister of my mom,my second mom.I am so thankful and I appreciated the thing that I received in Christmas.

    Every actions happened in Christmas served as our memories.Memories that are hard to forget because those are stuck in our mind.Christmas is the birth our savior Jesus Christ.Christmas is not only a celebration but a season where you can find happiness and love.I therefore conclude that Christmas keeps us to believe in Jesus Christ.This is the day where we can learn the past happenings of Jesus Christ.Christmas is slightly or completely not happy if you celebrated it without you family.Of course you family makes you happy.It doesn’t matter how big,how expensive the food that you’ve prepared when you are celebrating the Christmas.The important is you feel full and blessed after you eat.Celebrate the Christmas with no hidden resentment because it is the season of forgiveness.Let’s all refresh ourselves,throw away all the bitterness.Be good to each other.Christmas only happened once a year so lets enjoy it.Me and my family welcomed the Christmas with a big smile.A rare smile that was never seen before because of happiness.Our community was full of joy when we welcomed the Christmas that’s why we are united.Nothing can break us apart.We are like brothers and sisters,a family. In this Christmas I learned that this is the day that holds all time together.We should be together not wherever.I learned also that every gifts that we received should be appreciated with all our hearts.Poverty is not a hindrance to celebrate the Christmas.It’s only a state of being poor but not the reason why you can’t celebrate Christmas.Some breads,water,rice,pancit are only enough.The important is,there is the main ingredient to celebrate the Christmas which is the family.Nothing can beat the love and happiness of a family.I hope that next Christmas will be the same last Christmas.The momentum of happiness should be better and better.
