Filing under “needlework projects”.
don’t let anyone make you think it’s not okay to:
collectivise your workplace
barricade the streets
assail the houses of the rich
burn cop cars
bring capitalism crumbling to the ground
Anarchist revolutionaries are valid. Blac Blocs are valid. Workplace democracies are valid. Molotov cocktails are valid.

“This won’t be forever” ... I don’t know if I’m getting surgery, much less when. I don’t know if I WANT surgery - maybe “never binding again” means I just ... stop needing to. For a while, anyway.
I should probably get myself a good vest, tho, huh.

Submission Just a reminder guys. :)
*** Thanks so much for this! Very useful tips! :) <3

Sounds like a cue for a George Takai-style, “Ohhhhh my.”
My father just walked in during a particular episode of the X-Files, and I got to explain to him what auto erotic asphyxiation is.
Thanks, Mulder.

Yeah, this place is not being very healthy for me atm. There’s a lot of other trans support communities out there; I’ll just have to do with lesser sources of eye candy & kittens. Maybe I’ll be back if Tumblr gets their shit together & figures out how to actually support discussion instead of just bitter echo-chamber screeds. Give my street art blog a follow instead @tag-the-elephant!

Dear Trans Men
I see people putting down trans guys for being guys, too. Always remember that you are not an asshole, nor an oppressor. You are not a default transmisogynist nor a part of the problem. You are a man and no one has the right to shoot you down for that.

Important
Being non-dysphoric does not make you less trans.
Choosing not to undergo hormone treatment does not make you less trans.
Opting out of top/bottom surgery does not make you less trans.
Liking traditionally feminine/masculine things does not make you less trans.
Choosing not to come out publicly for personal/safety reasons does not make you less trans.
Sick of gatekeeping in the trans community. Your identity is valid. No matter what.

I think these are the most ordinary pictures I’ve ever seen of those two.
Also, I am not particularly fond of their kitchen.

Oh I’m so freaking excited to start my PhD - can’t wait for all the farm and stage work I’ve done to magically disappear (not to mention the field work in bug-infested bogs I’m inevitably going to do).
"Class struggle anarchism" from a guy doing a PhD lmao, you've never worked a day of hard manual labour in your life. You're just another trendy student.
hahaaha hello 2016

My memory is crap, so in my phone contacts I jot down things like people’s pronouns & what food they don’t eat. I just handed a friend my phone so they could add a new photo for themselves ... and unsurprisingly, they were a little concerned to see themself tagged “They bananas”. :)

A white sign on a chain-link fence, with a red, white, & blue shield-shaped image saying “U.S. GOVT. PROPERTY - NO - TRESPASSING”. “DAKOTA LAND” is written in black sharpie inside the letter ‘O’ in “NO”.
Fort Snelling State Park, MN. Photo by @tag-the-elephant.
153 years ago today, the US government hanged 38 Dakota warriors in the largest single execution in national history. It ended the 1862 war, but not the continued genocide of native peoples. Fort Snelling, where many of these atrocities occurred, occupies land sacred to the Dakota and is now a state park and tourist destination.

My current binder isn’t much “stronger” than the sports bras I used to wear for high school cross country, & while there’s a lot of health risks in long-distance running, I’ve never heard of that being one of them. I don’t anticipate anything different from the 2nd one I want, either
Here’s a good overview of bras & breast health from a medical perspective: Can wearing a bra cause breast cancer? | Maurer Foundation
My mom refuses to get me a binder because she says it can cause cysts on your chest. Is that true? Is there any information I can show her to combat that if it is untrue?
Hey! There is a lot of things that UNSAFE binding can cause but a cyst is not one of them. So, of course, binding safely with an actual binder won’t do any harm (especially not a cyst) if you use it safely.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. But fixing stuff is the best way to learn, and you should never stop learning. So if it ain't broke, what the hell are you waiting for?

Holy shit. This is the best possible answer I could have ever hoped for.
What on earth is your avatar? Thought it was bacon until I took a closer look, now I'm thinking, uh ... dried tomato? Also, hallelujah for more blogs visibly run by trans folks that are about things other than transitioning (not like that's a bad thing, hell that's what mine is).
Its a sliced carolina reaper pepper.
