Cosmic Path

I originally started this a few months ago. In August I had to say goodbye to my sweet little void boi, Edward. He was the chillest little cat you'd ever meet. I saw this piece again, when I finally felt like drawing something, and thought to add him. My wish that he's now dashing through starlight.

It feels strange and fitting to have a piece be altered this way. That he affects me after leaving, that he's somewhere I can't reach. That he's in a painting, one that hadn't originally housed him. It is my wish that he is somewhere, even if it's in a part of time I can not return to. But I'd like to, even for a moment. Maybe this will all happen again.

I will miss you and love you forever bud ❤
