My Notes:: This ML/FL couple has to be one of the biggest green flag couples I’ve ever seen… and it’s from a manhua. I gotta say… I’m always surprised when I find a good manhua. The art is simple but very consistent and easy on the eye. The story has a few underlying plot points that need to be dug up as you read but overall straightforward. There are a few corny/cringe moments or phrasings throughout. It’s easy to continue reading though. They do have the cliché ideal of “don’t ask for love” or “I can’t promise love” and then turn around a handful of chapters later and fall in love but they’re cute and transparent about their relationship and it’s not drawn out… so I’ll excuse it lol! Side note… I hate the sister. You’ll hate her too lol

Hoping to stay under the radar and not catch the attention of the villain like her brother did in the novel, “Celestine” intentionally flubbed her evaluation. My Notes:: I love a good gender bender! I also love a strong FL! This one has both and action along with it! I love FL. She has a lot on her shoulders and feels really guilty about it… while ML doesn’t understand why he’s drawn to FL (who he completely thinks is a man) and ends up selfishly putting FL in a difficult position repeatedly so he can keep her near by. And I thought I was evil with cliffhangers!! This one had me shouting at my screen, demanding the next chapter! Super evil and I love and hate it!

Needing to work up some money to return home, Kal finds expensive medicinal ingredients to sell. While using her searching skill, she stumbles upon an adventurer who is close to death. Not being able to leave someone to die that she had the ability to save, she quickly went to work curing the adventurer. After parting from him and selling her ingredients, she scrounged up enough money to hire a bodyguard to protect her on her trek home! And the one who accepted the job was the adventurer she saved! Wanting to repay her for saving him, Kaido happily took the job, not taking “No” for an answer and the two set out on their journey!

My Notes:: I don’t read a lot of manga anymore but this one had me from chapter 1. Kal is so cute but suffers badly from low self esteem. And Kaido is your typical muscle head with a heart of gold. He ends up falling for our girl in chapter 2. It’s so cute and he loves to tease her! The story seems to be moderately fast paced but not in a bad way imo. The story as a couple arcs so far and (aside from a flipflop villain) I had no problems with it. I’m fact I’m greatly looking forward to more! I just expect it will take a while as manga aren’t updated as fast as others.

My Notes:: This one was both cute and strange. The art style is average but has the habit of making the characters have large eyes and it gives them baby faces, specifically the male characters. A lot of readers couldn’t get over that fact and had issues making any other comment about the comic. ML is supposed to be early 20s I believe but he looks mid teens. The story is kinda like a mashup between Beauty and the Beast and Prince and the Pauper. It had cute moments and humorous moments. A very relaxed read. The ending however felt rushed and anticlimactic… and weird. Like it made me say “Wtf?” out loud. Like it just ended because they were like “I’m done now! Let’s quickly wrap it in a bow!” Still happy I read and completed it though.

Time to live as Clea… but what if this strict business starts to include heart?

My Notes:: Oh boy! The humor in this is great!! FL is a freakin sunfish and is pitifully weak and sick but she makes such a joke out of it that it’s not annoying. She hates it as much as we do! XD she’s strong mentally and pretty clever as well even though she has to live with the huge handicap being her broken body. ML absolutely spoils her rotten, first without feelings then he catches them and starts spoiling her and being over protective. Parts of the story are a little slow at times and the plot can drag a little but not enough to stop read (at least not for me). The art is a little quirky but consistent. Overall enjoyable story and I’m wondering how it’s gonna end!

The prince was in love with someone else just like in her current life and they lived happily ever after. Ultimately, Villainess Lilith was caught and sentenced to death. As she was dying, she began to regret her life and her choices as a villainess. Waking up in bed, she realized she wasn’t in her life anymore. She was now living as Lilith from the book. Remembering her regrets, she decided to try her best to be a good person… but that only sped up the events told from the book. She decided she would reach out to the secondary male lead from the story who turned into a villain because of his obsessive love for the Prince’s lover… and she would save both herself and him from death.

My Notes:: If you read stories mainly for the art, this one might not be for you. The art goes up and down so much that I’m sure there were several artists working on it and just trading off as the story went. The tempo is on steroids too. The beginning when they’re setting the stage for the story is quick and the last like 8 chapters were heavily rushed. They could’ve at least doubled the last rushed chapters but given the art inconsistency I’m not surprised it was rushed. What saved it for me and kept me reading were two things— one:: the plot was actually interesting as the FL didn’t want to stick to the plot of the book but used it as a guideline to create her own story; and two:: the chemistry and interactions with the leads. The story itself also kinda felt like an alternate reality for Lilith from one life to another as she had the same name and the same people around her but a different story being told. But everything is pretty straight forward story wise. It was enjoyable even if the art was on crack lol it was a fun way to waste time and turn off your brain to a simple story =]

My Notes:: I got a lot of Boys Over Flowers vibes in the beginning (and before anyone asks I will never recommend that one to anyone). Happily, this ML may be a spoiled rich kid but he’s genuine and courteous. He honestly wants to help others but ends up messing it all up because he doesn’t know how to read the room. He's freakin clueless when it comes to understanding others (mostly women) because everyone wants to be on his good side and they agree with whatever he says or does even if it’s stupid. While FL is very intuitive and can easily tell what’s going on the majority of the time. She’s also bluntly honest lol. I will say that I got tricked by a character in this story. I feel I usually have a good grasp on a character when I see them but this one threw me and I feel offended by it xD

My Notes:: This is absolutely a favorite and I have reread it at least 3 times. There’s so much fluff and funny banter moments with the innocent but stubborn Yerenika and the iron wall Euredian!! I can’t tell you how much I adore this couple and story! Even though I much prefer the alternate title as it doesn’t sound as childish as the official. Its story is very well rounded and thought out. However, it did end kinda abruptly but with the side stories not yet released I hope they will taper off the story better.

My Notes:: ML starts off like an ass… doing the wrong things for the right reason. At least after his bitter feelings of revenge subside. FL is terrified of commitment and both have communication issues. So this one (especially in the beginning) comes off as a pain to read. The art gives me a BL style as all the characters are good looking but also come off very masculine. I believe this story is also the artist/creator's first story so the pacing isn’t the best and the ending is incredibly abrupt and left some relationships unresolved and some characters forgotten. The creator even mentioned that it wasn’t how they wanted to end it and had more planned but it didn’t end up coming to fruition. All this being said, it does have its cute moments and the 2nd couple is adorable too. I just wish it ended more cleanly and/or had an epilogue.

My Notes:: I will be honest. I should not have liked this one as much as I did. You know that type of story that is just bad with unlikeable characters that you’re not even sure you want them to be redeemed? This one is like that. The Duke does get redemption but it takes a while as he is VERY prideful as a man of the time and as a Duke and a son of the Emperor. His pride took a large hit when she was chosen as his wife because her family is absolutely horrible and he thought she was as well. Guilt by association basically. I also have a thing for masks… moving on. But seriously the amount of confusion I got liking this even though the ML (and second ML) were absolute dicks… like WHY? I felt like Branch from Trolls being confused for liking sad country music. But damn did FL get even and ML got redemption. This is one that I would actually read again even though the art was also seriously lacking at times. It’s a very strange style with awkward body proportions but I guess it worked? And the ending actually did make it for me. A happy and sweet ending for the disastrous couple.

After flat out refusing him, Ten suggests a living arrangement in which he'll pay a large amount of money. At the stack of money, Arim caves. Ten has his in… now he just needs to get Arim to fall for him.

My Notes:: Short and lacks common sense but it is still cute! The art is cute and their growing love is adorable and admirable. He is a bit possessive but it makes sense given his species and circumstance. He isn’t controlling about it but transparent about his feelings. While Arim… she’s so dumb. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Like she would be dead in the real world. She definitely lacks common sense and dense about those around her but she’s not… stupid? I dunno. The ending is a bit rushed and lackluster and left loose ends but overall was a cute read and I enjoyed it =]

My Notes:: OMG I CANT TELL YOU HOW REFRESHING THIS ONE IS!! It has your typical premise of a contract relationship… BUT! They already had interest in one another and FL is so freakin smart and realistic! She’s not your air-headed bimbo that wants to just seduce the ML! She has substance! While ML is also realistic in that he’s not perfect and has a smart mouth. They also communicate so well! Yes they have their secrets but that’s normal in a new relationship and they don’t cause dramatic misunderstandings! Their dynamic is fabulous! I read this story like I was drinking water in a desert!

The two are forced to live together and come to find out they have a history together?

My Notes:: I had to give this one another try. The first time I guess I just wasn’t in the mood for it? There’s not really any action so it can be considered a little slow and it feels a little drawn out but otherwise a good story with a driving plot that you can see coming but it doesn’t make it any less enjoyable or heartbreaking. FL can be considered “dumb” but I’d rather call her ignorant. She may not be the smartest but she tries really hard and does her best. It also does have something of a reset or story style shift in the middle of the comic which can be frustrating as you feel like you finally get to the end goal before tripping then realizing that there’s a lot more left to the race. I’m looking forward to seeing how everything pans out.

My Notes:: I had a love-hate relationship with this one. FL can come off as very selfish and is easily hated. I’ll admit I dropped it once before before trying again. However, as a reader we only see her being selfish because we know how ML feels. From her point of view she is saying what she wants and that’s it. She admits she doesn’t want more but misunderstandings happen and both of them suck so much at communicating and chose to hide their thoughts and feelings. They are both to blame while the audience sympathizes with ML so all the blame goes to the FL. Truthfully the FL's personality is so realistic of an average 20s horny person that I’m betting people didn’t like how realistic it was. It takes a while (and hardships because of the serious lack of communication) but there is character growth on both sides and it ended nicely albeit abrupt for me. I also did not like the setting for the specials (drastically different from the original plot) and purposefully skipped them.

It’s not bad but some may consider it sloppy. It also has a character that you can identify with because he’s not special or a genius like other characters that get unique classes or skills and it makes you want to root for him, especially after watching him put forth so much effort with little yield. This is a relatively new comic so I’m looking forward to see where it goes!

My Notes:: This one was a ride… harsh start but the amount of doting family members will make you squee and flail! The big burly hard ass looking characters are putty in her palm! And it’s glorious to watch!! The story has a few twists and turns and the summary is definitely only surface level. There is a LOT going on behind the scenes that comes to light! It took me a while to read this one not because it wasn’t good but because I’ve had issues focusing on reading lately. However I was adamant about keeping to it and finishing it and I’m so glad I did. The story is so satisfying! I think the only thing I would’ve asked for more of was romance but that might have muddled up the story. The romance was definitely not the focus. That said, I greatly enjoyed this comic!
