#OWFI21 photo challenge Day 2 ... what I'm reading. I'm really digging these 2 fairy tale re-tellings. This is exactly what I mean when I tell people to be inspired (not plagiarize) by the stories they love. The Witch's Tower is a unique take on Rapunzel written by my very talented friend @authortamaragrantham. Stepsister is an interesting take on Cinderella's stepsisters after fateful shoe fitting by @jenwritesbooks I honestly picked this book up because of the cover. So glad I did. Not pictured: an outstanding, gritty, unconventional mystery I'm BETA reading for a friend. It's giving me a real classic Bogart noir feel. I'll let you know when ots out. I knew my writing journal was on its last legs, but I did hope that it would remain intact until finished it. With less than 50 pages left, it decided it was done being held to the confines of its cover. I will fill the rest of these pages, wrap it together with rubber bands and put it in a safe place.
