One of the greatest things about today was getting tagged in all your wedding photos. It's kind of awesome to spend your job making things that get used by so many people in love (example A : @theamandachristinemiller - who married her sweetheart in our roses and a hot pink @moniquelhuillier dress, all the while being serenaded by an Elvis impersonator. And who has since become a dear friend) #celebratelove

Happy #lunarnewyear Everyone! Throwback to last May at the Forbidden City in Beijing. I spent 5 days in Beijing with this woman, Hershelly, and a Mr Wang from the Communist Party. Touring workshops of local Chinese designers and talking to them about how to foster creativity. The rest of the world is an amazing place. Inspiring and dynamic. I cannot accept an America who is turning inward and trying to foster fear and intolerance of other. Yes, I know the bans this week were directed at Muslims and this is a post about Lunar New Year. There are more complexities to global relations than can be summed up in an Instagram post. But I think in this climate we need to use every opportunity we have to reassert our values of openness and tolerance and globalism. (at Forbidden City)

I stole this from @fallonjewelry I want to be posting pictures of pretty headpieces but the world has gone so crazy. My heart breaks that we have gone from being a country of progress and openness and democracy to a xenophobic backwards place. There have been no attacks by Syrian refugees.
