     "Hey Jess..." Jenna replied after she had thought about hanging up. The way Jess greeted her sounded as if she really didn't want to talk to her. Everything bad had crossed Jenna's mind in just a matter of seconds. "uhm, how have you been?"

Jenna was cleaning her house one morning when she came across a paper with a name and number scribbled on it. She was curious as to who’s number it was because these days no one used paper to jot down numbers. When Jenna unfolded the paper she was in shock. She had found Jess’s phone number.

Jess was sitting down at her computer when she heard her phone ringing. She rolled her eyes due to the fact that she had just began concentrating on her homework. She pulled out her blackberry and looked at the called I.D. Jenna. Jess did a double-take and couldn’t believe that her old friend was calling her. Was it by accident? Was this some type of joke? Or did Jenna actually want to talk. The brunette pressed the green button to answer and took a deep breath. ���Hello?” She spoke into it with hesitation. It was just so random and weird for Jenna to be calling out of the blue. Maybe she wanted homework or something? But that wouldn’t make sense! Jess was a sophomore and Jenna was a junior.

The Dot | Fitz

     Jenna had decided to stay up all night to work on her history paper that was due two days ago. She had fallen behind in so much work that Mr. Simpson had threatened she would be left back if she continues the way she is. Jenna couldn't afford to get left back, but she was under a lot of stress with school and family issues, especially with Tyson; Jenna didn't knowwhatto do anymore.

     She walked into The Dot at 9:45 with her laptop in hand and sat at an empty table. She felt herself dozing off when she was suddenly awakened by a male's voice and a hand on her shoulder.

Girl Time | Imogen

     Jenna had always heard of Imogen, but never felt the need to talk to her; until she found out that they were locker neighbors. Jenna heard a lot of weird things about her, but then again many people said a lot of notorious things about her that wasn't true. She didn't care much because Jenna had no intentions on stricking up a conversation with one of Degrassi's psycho nerds.

     As Jenna walked up to her locker, she saw Imogen kneeling on the floor shuffling through a mountain of text books and notebooks. Jenna quickly looked away hoping that Imogen wouldn't start a conversation with her. She got out her chemistry books and closed her locker. Just as she was about to walk away she heard Imogen call out after her and was suddenly next to her.

We Meet Again | Jess

        Jenna had lost her number a few months ago. Jenna and Jess had once been friends when Jenna was going out with KC and they would hang out with Dave and Jess. They had become best of friends, but they lost touch when Jenna and Jess both broke up with their boyfriends and couldn't find the time to hang out any more.

       She thought about calling her to catch up on old times. Jenna folded the paper back into a square and placed it in her back pocket, it seemed a little weird, what if Jess didn't care about being Jenna's friend again. They barely saw each other in school as well, so Jenna wasn't so sure about calling her.

       After Jenna finished cleaning, she decided to call Jess. "The worst that can happen is that she says to leave her alone." Jenna said to herself as she picked up her cell phone. She waited, the other end of the reciever ringed and Jenna waited for a response.
