I understand how you feel but I'd advice you from calling it "offputting" since that can be seen as insensitive to people of that size. I used a reference of a model (see the image blow) in this case so the size is very much based on a real person that has that body type.

This is the reference in question. I get that you might see May as a different body type and that's 100% valid, but I want to make it clear that I'd never draw a character intentionally thin due to any bad intentions. I often follow the official art, and if there's room for interpretation I might adjust some things due to my own headcanons. I take body positivity very seriously and would never try to glorify or shame certain bodytypes.

Long time no update over here.... I do apologize for that 👉👈

I've had quite a rough 2 past months due to some personal stuff IRL and due to my 2024 already having been hectic (moving twice, a lot of crucial exams etc) it sort of became the last straw that broke the camels back 💀 Was a long time since I was this burnt out asdsdfdsg

After a much needed break + time to reflect on what I wanna do with my art I'm starting to feel much better tho, so hopefully I'll slowly get back into posting new stuff again 💕~
