Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency (A.F.U.E.)
The A.F.U.E. is a measure of the estimated ability of a heating appliance to extract heat from the fuel, based on a full heating season. The A.F.U.E. increases as the burner on time increases until it reaches ‘steady-state efficiency’. Steady state is the efficiency of the appliance measured when the burner is running. Any time the burner cycles on and off, the A.F.U.E. drops because of "off-cycle" losses. The A.F.U.E. drops most sharply when the heating plant operates between 10 and 30% burner on time. An increase in the percentage of burner on time improves the A.F.U.E.
A General Comment
The PENSOTTI Model ‘S’ boiler is a high quality, efficient oilfired heating appliance, which must be installed and serviced by a trained and if required licensed service technician. Oilfired installations should be installed in accordance with NFPA31 and NFPA211 when no local code is in effect. My partner and I had just moved in to our new home a year ago after a long renting scheme but it was almost 2 years since we had actually bought the house. We underwent a lot of paper works and legalization processes before finally reaching a final decision. As first time buyers, we have consulted a lot of advices and reviewed countless of guide articles on what initial steps to take before buying a house.
After meeting with Mark, an agent working with The Petersen Group which we hired as custom home builder, we have learned a few friendly tips which really helped us in choosing the best home for us:
1. Think of the Long Term Circumstances
If you are living together like me and my partner, you should ask yourself of your plans for the future which, in time, is inevitable. Are you planning to have kids? Are you expecting family members and friends to stay over every now and then? You may be planning to stay in your new home for only a few years. If the time comes to sell your home, who is your target audience? What are the key areas around which are accessible?
2. Make a list
When buying a pre-furnished home, you may not agree with one design but like how the placement of things is in the other room. Make sure to list your preferences before visiting houses. You can just cross out your list and compare later on which house is the most compatible with your likings.
3. Consider the Expenses
It makes a lot of difference if you are planning to buy a house in the developed city of Los Angeles, California than a house in Jakarta, Indonesia. When budgeting for the house, don't stop with principal, interest, taxes and insurance; add in utilities, cost of commuting and upgrades.
4. Better to Buy in Cash
One of the advantages of cash is you get discounts but it fairs more than that. In today’s competitive market where buyers are getting aggressive to owning a house within prime locations, purchasing a house in cash gives an edge in securing the home before any competitor can. Bottom line is, a seller wants to know how quickly they can gain money and paying in cash assures faster processing. However, you don’t have to force yourself if you don’t have ready cash or you’ll end up with bank complaints.

His presentation was filled with so many golden nuggets of information, splattered with exercises of both the mind and body, as well as some pretty funny dirty jokes in his rather strong and charming Israeli accent. Here are the notes that I took from this intense 2 day seminar. Most of them are stand alone ideas that deserve time to absorb:
What do you expect from the seminar? If you don’t know what you expect, how will you know that you arrived there? We must define what we want.
Essence of genius is simplicity. Know the definition of words.
A professional is one who thinks it is simple.
What is truth? Exact time, place, form and event. Does not contain continuation. A Lie is the opposite time, place, form and event, and continues.
People are ethically good. We are the worst judge of ourselves, so when we do something bad, we feel bad. When we do something good, we feel good.
Must understand the mind – everything you deal with are minds.
How do you find a purpose, how do you find what your purpose is? It is your Fuel of the soul. What is your purpose? Write down your purpose. Look up the definition of purpose.
Ideas are conveyed by sentences. Sentences are conveyed by words or symbols. If you do not understand the sentence it is because there is a word or words that you do not know in the sentence. If you do not understand the sentences, you will not get the idea. Your IQ is defined by the number of WRONG words you know. Increase the number of words that you do know, and you increase your IQ.
People become criminal because of the number of words that they don’t understand. A good man comes across a word or symbol that he does not understand, which causes confusion, which causes sins. Once you go past a misunderstood word without figuring out what it means, your understanding goes away. The more words you do not understand, the stupider you become. Everyone agrees that music is a universal language. Although the taste in music may differ depending on the genre, there is no race, gender and age limit when listening to it. This is the reason why composing and arranging music can only come to those who are gifted. A good arranger, much more producer, can be successful in a tight musical world. They could fail but a real talent can definitely put a person back to his pedestal. Take for example Gilles Peterson, British DJ, record collector, and record label owner.
Gilles Peterson is a world renowned broadcaster, music producer, disk jockey and founder of the famous Worldwide Awards. With his outstanding record in music production and undeniable talent in mixing music which can be enjoyed by different people from all walks of life regardless of age, culture and nationality, he has been recognized as one of the most notable personality in the industry enough to earn him a spot in the top most listened to programmes in British Broadcasting Company (BBC), the leading broadcasting company of the United Kingdom and the world’s largest and oldest national broadcasting organization.
Contrary from what people know and based on different reviews written about him though is that Gilles Peterson did not have a smooth sailing musical journey.
Peterson favored Jazz above all other music genre but he would never miss a chance to fuse different types of tunes. With a great ear to sound, he was soon discovered and was offered a job on a London pirate radio station, Radio Invicta as DJ. He also gained fame with his club session, “Talkin’ Loud Sayin’ Something” at the old Dingwall in North West London but soon experienced his first struggle when he complained and retaliated with his anti-war commentaries during the first Gulf War on his programme at Jazz FM. He was later fired from the station.
From there, the world seemed dim to him. But his talent shone as a beacon of light in his career.
Kiss FM hired him and he was given a second chance until he was discovered by BBC 1 in 1998, almost 10 years after he began his hard trek in the industry and surpassing all the challenges hurled at him.
What he is today, more than 15 years as a sought-after DJ performing and delivering music to festivals in the far-flung corners of the world from his home in London to Egypt to Tokyo, Japan, Jakarta, Indonesia and South America, has been because of his hard earned lessons found on his rocky musical journey at Brownswood Boiler Room.
Gilles Peterson continues loving music and promises not to separate from it as long as the beacon still shines.

Meir Ezra: Negative Emotions Make You Fail
Pete, the new Sales Manager of ABC Autos, was yelling at the salespeople to do better, but with no improvement. The company owner, Mr. Christopher, was getting desperate.
He sat down with the sales manager and said, "Pete, since you took over the Sales Department, our car sales have been going down. You've got to quit yelling at the salespeople. Our old sales manager never yelled. Please give it a try."
Pete said, "Where I come from, you have to yell at the sales people if you want to get sales. Fire me if you want, but I'm gonna yell."
Mr. Christopher said, "Okay, I don't care what you do, just get the sales numbers back up this week."
So Pete held a sales meeting and screamed, "IF YOU DON'T MAKE AT LEAST ONE SALE THIS WEEK, YOU ARE FIRED!"
The sales staff ran out and started calling people on the phone. They said things like, "You HAVE to call me back!" "I know it's been six months since you were here, but I need to see you." "Your old car is dangerous; you must come in NOW!"
A couple walked in to browse. Four salespeople charged at them. The couple jumped back, mumbled "No thanks" and headed for the door. Another salesperson was blocked the doorway and said, "Did you find what you were looking for?"
The couple fought their way out the door and the salespeople went back to their telephones.
