Not my favorite pair getting badly hurt, with Jeje being sliced for the second time on top of that.

Also, we still know nothing of his backstory : how did he die? What happened when he was still human? What does his demon core look like (we have seen it on an illustration), but what does it do? What is it's character ?

Too many questions. I will always love Servamp and respect Strike Tanaka's work, but I fear to be disappointed.

You know, now that the story has gotten so far, this panel kinda hurts:

Mikuni is genuinely surprised/upset that Mahiru asked him of all people and openly says that he shouldn't. But what got me the most is "I like children who still have faith".

Subtext : "unlike me".

But like Misono, as seen in latest chapter.

Mikuni will end me sooner or later.

Rereading servamp and, about Jeje's body: when Cappucino and Shuhei shoot him in the back with Nicco's lead, he does cough out blood, so I have no idea how it works either, but here.

Major Spoilers for chapter 135!!!

From what I understood thanks to Google lens (please don't shoot me, beloved translators thanks to whom we get the chapters) and also thanks to other users posting reviews, it seems that Mikuni WANTS TO BECOME THE VESSEL FOR THE COUNT??? Like, it's not like I didn't think that at some point, but it was a big, big fantasy of mine and a pretext for Jeje to save him (gets shot again).

Now, seriously: it would seem out of character for him to sacrifice himself, but at the same time... it would be a perfect plot twist and would prove we were right about his character. He does keep fucking with all of our minds and does make himself look like the final boss / vilain, but we all believe he's actually got ulterior motives and is perhaps even an anti hero.

No matter what is true here, though, Jeje will turn feral when he learns that Kiriko has been used for that plan. I actually fear a hell of a confrontation.

And lastly : Sakuya vs Mikuni???? Any predictions here, anyone ?

The new chapter cover is now my wallpaper. A little disappointed not to see them in the chapter but this picture is everything to me, actually. Also, looks like we are going to see Jeje's face a lot more often ! I hope so, at least
