Captain Spirit: The War Within 

The War Within is a new multimedia, interactive story that chronicles the lives of Chris Eriksen and Daniel Diaz after the events of Life Is Strange 2. 

Three years after the events at the border, Daniel has settled into his new “normal” life with his grandparents in Beaver Creek. Meanwhile, his neighbor and best friend Chris struggles with balancing school and an increasingly dysfunctional home-life. After a sudden tragedy shakes their lives, Chris and Daniel must leave Beaver Creek in pursuit of the elusive “Mantroid”, a specter that has haunted Chris since childhood. Can Captain Spirit finally track down his evil nemesis and bring him to justice?

Life Is Strange spin off ideas

Let’s say Deck Nine decided to make spin off games like BTS. That expand on beloved side characters. Here is what I’d love to see.

Rachel In The Dark Room. Here we would explore how Rachel got in the Dark Room. Explore Rachel’s relationships with Chloe, Nathan, Frank, Jefferson, Victoria and the Vortex Club, how Rachel was a beloved figure at Blackwell, show the grooming and abuse that Rachel endured and how everyone in her life ignored all the signs. Just show how everyone in her life either used Rachel, didn’t care or abused her and show Frank and Jeffershit for the predatory bastards that they are

Kate and Victoria after The Storm. Here it would be about recovery, healing and reconnecting. We would find out Kate made it out in time before the storm. I think Kate and her family would move to Seattle and we’d have a chance for Kate and Victoria to reconnect. It would be about reconnecting, forgiveness and working through their shared trauma. Bonus points. Chasemarsh happens!

Warren. Two scenarios for Warren. If you saved Arcadia Bay, it would be about Warren helping Max through the worst period in her life and helping Max live again. Warren would be Max’s angel to a same degree as to what Rachel was to Chloe. Warren would be there for Max in her mourning and grieving period and helped her move on from Chloe’s death. It could end with Warren and Max going Ape If you saved Chloe. We would learn that Warren is the only survivor in Arcadia Bay.(physically in Arcadia Bay) We would also learn that Warren was the one putting blankets on the bodies. The direction I think this could go would be for Warren searching for Max and Chloe to make sure that they are okay

Nathan. A game about Nathan would be Nathan’s downward spiral. We could see how the boy in BTS becomes the boy we know and hate in LIS. This could focus on Nathan’s relationships with Samantha and Victoria. Sean would most likely see Sam as a distraction in the way of Nathan and the “Prescott family destiny” so he enlists the help of his old friend Mark Jefferson.  Either Sam leaves Arcadia Bay or she becomes one of Jefferson’s first victims in Arcadia Bay. Yes, I know she is not listed as missing. But Samantha could’ve been one of the sad cases of Jefferson not caring enough to memorialize Sam in the red binders. He could’ve viewed her as a disappointment. The worst part? Nathan would be so messed up mentally and emotionally, Jefferson would’ve seized upon the opportunity to gaslight Nathan into believing he killed Sam. Also, I’ve always had this feeling that Jefferson has been doing his thing longer than the events of the game. Been going on for years. In Seattle, LA, all around the country. It’s just now with his old friend funding the Dark Room, Jefferson has the perfect set up. The tragic thing is that no one cared enough to look for her. Sam did not have someone like Chloe who cared enough to put up missing person posters. Sean would do his best to gaslight his son into making him believe that Sam left him all alone which would be perfect for Sean. Her mother would care, but knowing Sean Prescott, he will probably bribe her to keep quiet. That’s the sad thing, we don’t know how many dark room victims who went missing and those victims might be people Jefferson did not deem worthy of being a part of his collection and Samantha could very well be unfortunate enough to be a victim to die and not be remembered. Not knowing what happened to the only person who treated him with real kindness or knowing that his father is right, leads Nathan on a downward spiral, which eventually shows a scene of Sean introducing Nathan to his dear old friend Mark Jefferson. “He will help guide you to greatness and your family destiny.” Guiding Nathan to the Dark Room and the character Nathan would become in Life Is Strange.

A game where we play as Lyla, because goddamn it we deserved so much more Lyla. Could be about the early years of Sean and Lyla’s friendship or it could be about Lyla before and after the Seattle Incident. We would see how Lyla is coping with the situation. Starts with us as Lyla preparing for the party and after Sean leaves with Daniel, it is about Lyla personally defending the Diaz brothers, insisting their innocence and just feeling alone. But Lyla keeps her sanity by keeping in contact with Sean and it ends with either Lyla reuniting with Sean in the Redemption ending or Lyla reuniting with Sean in Puerto Lobos. 

A game where we continue the Parting Ways ending. We could either play as Chris and Daniel much like this fan made series. Bonus points if Sarah Lee joins Daniel and Chris and becomes apart of their super hero trio! or we play as Sean and Finn or Cassidy and their lives in Puerto Lobos. I don’t have much info on this hypothetical spin off cause writer’s block. But basically it shows that despite the Wolf Brothers being separated. They are okay and happy, but ideally it would end with Sean’s innocence being proven and Sean being able to go home and reunite with Daniel.
