After taking turns blinding ourselves and feeling unknown items we painted the textures that we felt then cut out the paintings and built compositions with them as pieces. I ripped out the paintings and made a few compositions but then I made them by taking steps back and throwing the pieces at a sheet of paper, I also stood on a chair and dropped the pieces on the paper, then I blinded myself and held a piece in one hand and the other pieces in the other and I used the piece in my hand to pick up other pieces and placed them on the paper blind. These random techniques caught on throughout the class and others were taking turns dropping pieces and throwing them.

While looking around the fifth floor of Bradly Hall we found marks which I would like to implement in my future paintings such as the evaporated water marks and the seemingly random colorful marks in the printmaking room

Using some brown paper, toothpaste and a tooth brush I was able to paint an accurate representation of the painting room’s floor layout. The painting I expect to last about a month or two because of the thickness of the toothpaste. This is unlike a painting in that it won’t last many years but it is still similar to a painting in the ways that it is made with a brush and a paste like medium.

Be sure to tighten the canvas and embed the staples CLOSE together.
The corners need to be in a w shape by pulling the corner of the canvas into itself.
