Merry Christmas || John & Blaine

Blaine: hugged around John's neck and kissed his cheek. He scooted into his lap and giggled. "I'm so glad you love it," he said. "I love you. I had fun making it, and Mom helped pick out the cutest pictures."

John: draped an arms over Blaine's legs and nuzzled against his neck. "I love you so much more. I can't wait to hang that up." he kissed his neck. "Why are you so perfect?"

Blaine: grinned softly at John, his heart swelling as he watched him. "I know it's not a trip to Hawaii but... I just wanted a way to commemorate our time together so far. I love you so much and building memories with you."

John: set the picture collage down on the table and took Blaine in his arms. "I love it..." He said. "No one has ever given me something like that...I love it so much....thank you."

Blaine: "I can do that," he giggled softly before he met John halfway and kissed him. He rubbed noses with him and then went into the bedroom to retrieve one of his gifts from the closet. He brought the wrapped present over to John and set it on his lap. "Merry Christmas, Johnny. I know this one is sappy, but that's why I need to give it to you now." He giggled nervously again and sat back down on the couch. He watched his boyfriend unwrap and open the box, where inside would be a framed photo collage of the two of them. The photos ranged from their own personal pictures to ones from the opening night of Hedwig and rehearsals. He picked up his cat Blair who was still on the couch and kissed the top of her head while he waited for a reaction from John.

John: smiled when Blaine came back with the gift. He started to unwrap it and was shocked when he saw what it was. No one had ever done this for him before. It was such a sentimental gift and John was really moved by it. "Blainey...." He said softly. "It's...perfect. I love it..." he didn't even know that he started to cry. "I love this so much..."

Blaine: bit his lip as he looked at John, but then tilted his head. "Can I give you one thing now? It's not a big thing, but it's something I want you to have."

John: chuckled and nodded. "Okay. Okay. But kiss me first." He leaned in to steal a kiss from his boyfriend before he gave him his present.

Blaine: gently shoved John's arm as he spoke and laughed. "Shut up," he mumbled. "I don't like money spent on myself, but I do enjoy getting in the giving spirit. So, want your gifts now or Christmas Day?"

John: just rolled his eyes. "I'll wait, honey. It's okay. I just wanted to go ahead and give you something because I couldn't wait any longer to give them to you."

Blaine: kissed John back and hugged him tighter, unable to stop smiling. "I love you so much... thank you for my present and for everything. I'm so happy..." He kissed John's nose and giggled. "My presents are nowhere near as lavish... do you want them now or wait until Monday morning?"

John: smiled widely. “I’m so happy you’re happy. That’s all that matters to me. What I want more than anything in this world is for you to be happy.” He chuckled. “Mister Don’t-Buy-Me-Anything but’s gifts for others?”

Blaine: couldn't help but tear up more at John's words, but it honestly meant so much to him that his boyfriend felt that way. He pulled him into another hug, giggling tearfully and kissing his cheek a few times. "Thank you," he said with a squeak. "You are a wonderful man, too. You are so giving and selfless and sweet... I'm so proud to be with you. I don't wanna slow down because I know I want to be with you. I want to experience as much as we can together... so thank you. I'm really looking forward to this, Johnny. It will be amazing, and make me want to keep pushing myself through the shows until then."

John: kissed Blaine softly and hugged him. “It will be here before you know it and it’s going to be wonderful and romantic because I love to spoil you.” He kissed him again a few more times. “I love you.”

Blaine: shook his head in protest, since John didn't understand why he had gotten emotional. He pulled back slightly so he could look his boyfriend in the eyes. "No," he began. "I-I love it... of course I want to go it's just- this is too much wonderful for one guy. I get the career, the home, you... everything and it's so much. You just... you have no idea how much my life has changed in the past few months. I went from being an assistant manager at a coffee shop to starring on Broadway and starting my first real, grown up relationship. Everything's happening so fast, at least being so sick gave me a chance to slow down and try to fathom some of it. It's overwhelming and I keep feeling like I'm gonna wake up soon. I have it all and that's why I wasn't asking for anything... I can't believe you booked this trip for us it's so much... I wanna go I just don't deserve it there's no way..."

John: ran his fingers through Blaine's hair. "It's what you deserve, Blaine. You are one amazing man and you should get everything your heart desires. Really. You are kind, caring, and I could name more traits about you but we would be here all night. I love you with all my heart and I wanted to do this for you. I want to treat you and I want a getaway with just you and me. But if you want to slow things down again, we can. I'll wait forever for you. I want to spend the rest of my life with you, and I know that's a lot but something in me is saying that this is it. None of this is a dream. And if it was, I would die if I woke up..."

Blaine: just started to cry because he was still in shock when he thought about what his life was now. He didn't need any gifts for Christmas because he felt like everything was perfect, and this only proved his point. He quickly inched closer to John and wrapped his arms around him. He held him for a while and rested his head on his shoulder.

John: hugged Blaine back and started to get worried. "Are you okay, honey? We don't have to go. I just thought you'd like it with the beach and all. And it's a romantic destination. But of course, if you don't want to go we don't have to. It's okay." He kissed his cheek and rubbed his back.

Blaine: couldn't help but smile wide at his boyfriend. He felt overwhelmed that he was so special in John's eyes, because the feeling was mutual. He rubbed a hand over his boyfriend's and leaned over to kiss his cheek. "You're so sweet... and you're already an amazing person. I promise you that," he told. He sat up, placing the laptop and earbuds on the coffee table so he could accept the present from John. He took in a breath, giggling nervously as he did so. "What did you do? Huh?" he laughed again. He carefully lifted the top off the box and looked inside. He pulled one of the tickets out to see what it said, and as soon as he realized they were tickets he just covered his mouth. He gasped and shook his head, unable to look at his boyfriend for a moment.

John: smiled, but hoped that Blaine did like the present. "I booked the trip a while back and I wanted to give this to you as present. I hope you like it. If not, we can always go somewhere else or not go anywhere. It doesn't matter to me. As long as I am with you, I'm the happiest man in the world."

Blaine: grinned back. "I was just finding new songs and adding them to my playlists," he explained quietly. He closed his eyes and hummed when John rubbed his leg, since dancing made him so sore the gentlest touch felt good to him. "What do you mean?" he asked, bliss strong in his voice. Once he came to the realization, though, he opened his eyes and raised a brow at his boyfriend. "I told you no presents, Johnny... I mean it. I rather people less fortunate get what they need to have a nice Christmas. I already have everything."

John: kept rubbing his leg and nodded. "I know, I know. And I understand why, but I really wanted to get you something. This is the first time in a long time that I'm celebrating with someone. I mean, most of my family is either in Russian or Germany. So I'm just here. And I have you and I wanted to get you something. You're so good to me and you make me want to be a better person...and I know you said no gifts, but please accept this.." he takes the gift out from behind him and hands it to Blaine. It's a rectangular box and in it were two plane tickets to Hawaii in the next few months. He wanted to make this a special trip and he booked it a while ago, so he was so happy to finally tell him.

Blaine: went straight to the couch when he returned home after his matinee performance so he could rest before his two shows the next day. John had went into the bedroom without mentioning what he was up to, but Blaine didn't question. He loved living with his boyfriend, though he still respected the older man's space. He laid on the couch with Blair curled up by his side while he used his laptop to research music. He was putting together new playlists of 70s and 80s songs, with his earbuds in, so at first he didn't hear John speak to him. His eyes were glued to the screen until he felt a dip in the couch where John took a seat. He looked up at him and quickly pulled his earbuds out. "Sorry, hi," he said softly. "What's up, Johnny?"

John: smiled at him. "You're fine, sweetie. I was just coming to see what you were doing." he paused for a moment and rubbed Blaine's leg. "I have something for you though."

John: finished wrapping the box he had Blaine's Christmas present in. Although his boyfriend protested to presents, he still wanted to do something for him and give him something. After the months that had passed and the night they had together just a week ago, John had never been more in love in his life and he wanted to get something for Blaine. It was a small gift, but he was happy with it and he hoped Blaine would like it as well. He made his way to the living room where Blaine was and kept the gift hidden behind his back as he sat down on the couch. "Hey, honey." He said with a smile. "What are you doing?"

Blaine: shook his head, sniffling before he spoke. "N-no... I feel the same way. That's why I cried before, not because I was sore.." He let out a shaky giggle. "Sometimes I just feel like this isn't real... but I'm so glad it is."

John: kissed Blaine's shoulder a few times before drying his tears. "I feel like this isn't real either...but I thank God that you are and that what we have is real."

Blaine: wrapped his arms around his boyfriend, allowing himself to cry more again as well. He kissed the side of John's head and rubbed his back in soothing circles. His breaths hitched while he cried, but he had a small smile on his face when he rested his head on John's shoulder.

John: "I'm sorry....I just love you so much...I don't mean to cry..."

Blaine: felt tears roll down his cheeks as John spoke. He smiled at him and nodded in agreement. "You mean so much to me. Being this close to you was so special... really." He kissed John's nose and smiled.

John: pulled Blaine into a hug and just started crying without warning. He didn't know how to stop, but he was just so happy and so overwhelmed.

Blaine: "I was too," he admitted softly. "Was it good for you? I'm in a good shock, yeah."

John: nodded. "Amazing. I love you so much. I'm so incredibly happy we got to share this...it means the world to me because you mean the world to me..." John started to get emotional but he didn't want to cry in front of Blaine.
