If you were to live in 60s in Europe and be a jazz aficionado, then you would had have to dig Blue Note. That’s the way they handled record at that time - with care. This box is from 1966.

A short story on the great avant-garde jazz label, that took place in 1965-1975 lead by Carla Bley and Michael Mantler. To name a few players - Gato Barbieri, Don Cherry, Roswell Rudd, Pharoah Sanders, Clifford Thornton, Leroy Jenkins, do I have to continue? In Russian, but music is kinda universal, don’t you think..

Issued in 1982 on AuRoar label. You should have that one. That’s wild, open, raw and absolutely free. Music, just to say. Bert’s widow, Nancy, still has a few copies left. Don’t let them get away.

Always loved the way sellers try to make everything look smooth. ‘The crack can be evened out...I find the record enjoyable, and I am not particularly bothered by it' Well, it’s Near Mint, if not the crack all over the record.

I’m an avid BYG / Actuel collector, only originals. Still some left. Unique design, music with no boundaries and of course Sun Ra and his Solar-Myth Arkestra. You never know what you’re gonna hear before you put the record on.

Had a original promo copy of this one some day. My speakers were shaking while Mr. Hartman’s baritone walked through the room. Wanted to share that one with my friend. Met around 5 p.m., handled the record to him. The same night got a call from him - ‘you better be looking for another copy, because this one stays with me’.
