i swear i’m still alive. despite not posting in 2 weeks. anyway, ravenpaw is now a thing. i think you can tell that i like drawing fur in a certain way...

bluestar! i’m...not sure if i was going for short fur, long fur, or what for this one. also not sure what i was doing with the legs there...but she’s here. yeah. the scars would be a normal colour, but i went with the dark grey so they could match with the nose/ears.

a longtail! i forgot the nick in his ear so uh. pretend it’s in the other ear. i doubt that colour point and this style of tabby stribes can go together this way but i was already disregarding genetics in my cat designs so. yeah.

thought i’d do greystripe next. since. easy, clear design, and i’ve already done firestar, so... yeah.

first of all, the first protagonist: firestar! i have no idea if he was described as solid ginger or not, but well...i always imagined him as having some white on him...and, hey, depending on the light, it could look like the middle of the fire? or something? ??? the heart? of the fire?? yeah i’m going with that. i usually see him depicted with no stripes but. the stripes look...vaguely like fire. so. yeah. hi this is my firestar

hello, i’m chipper/mag, she/her or fae/faer, @anomalouscorvid is my main blog, and i’m here with a warriors design blog! because why not. i’ve never done this before, i don’t know how it usually goes, but i thought “hm, i have pretty distinct images of the cats in my head as i’m reading, even if they don’t always fit canon maybe i could draw those...and i do need more cat practice...” so here i am! i don’t expect this to get especially popular but, you know, might as well gather the designs into one place.

these will NOT ALWAYS FOLLOW CANON. i cannot emphasise this enough. as an example, i only realised today that breezepelt and crowfeather’s eyes aren’t green, but even so, i can’t get that image out of my head. and in many cases i just accidentally skip over character descriptions. so some of these will probably blatantly go against canon...there’s no particular order to these, as a note, they’re just. whenever i feel like it, from whichever book. also, for certain characters (such as redtail) the only image of them i have in my head is. just entirely a design i saw that somebody else made. so i won’t do every single character i can think of. but, yeah, might as well try this.

oh, also you can suggest characters for me to draw. but if they’re from a book i haven’t read yet i’ll ignore the suggestion until i get to that book.

(fun fact! i almost named this blog ‘chipperjayfeather’ because. irony. and also my name. but ‘ella’ on the circle of fire discord suggested ‘jayzfeatherz’ and ‘jayxfeather’ as possible usernames. so i went for jayzfeatherz, because it feels nice to say. so, yeah, almost named this blog after myself, decided not to.)
