Functional Photo Frames - V2

It is here and it is bigger than ever, sort of. It is still the same as V1, I just built upon it and expanded it to offer more customizability for a game that is a sandbox. The details can be read below, most of the instructions on how to use the mod are implemented through object descriptions and in-game lessons. Everything is Base Game compatible! 

I am happy to answer queries, suggestions and ideas, about this mod. I know it can be confusing. Download is at the bottom so that you’ll have to read the mod description. I also added an info page for you to look at!

Castaway Life

Forge your own destiny on a desert island: armed only with a machete, gather wood and resources to transform the wilderness into the life of your dreams, far from civilisation!

Pick and Choose: This Mod Pack includes 6 different mods you can pick and choose, each with its own requirements. Some packs are sometime not required but only recommended: the corresponding features just won't be used.

Complementary Mods: Using my Do It Yourself mod series, you can start from a simple Machete and some planted tree and unlock gradually more and more skill items you can use to craft!

Lot: To get you started, I shared the lot used in those screenshots in my gallery, under the name Plage du Rescapé

Translations: English, French and Spanish. If you want other languages to be included, you can find the list of strings here for all my mods and send it back to me, I will try and include them at the next update.

🔥 Fire and Wood

This mod brings in a new collectible: Wooden Planks. When the Simple Living challenge is added to a lot, wood is now required for woodworking, but not only! It also brings new features to the campfire.

While having a Machete in your inventory, you can now Cut Down Trees when they are big enough. They revert to their planted state, and you get 3 Wooden Planks. (Tip : you can now buy a Machete from the Chestnut Ridge convenience store or the Beach Supplies vending machine)

From the Wooden Planks in your inventory, you can craft a Campfire (Outdoor Retreat is required) or a Woodworking Table.

With the Simple Living lot challenge, lighting a campfire or adding a log requires 1 Wooden Plank.

With the Simple Living lot challenge, Woodworking recipes now require Wooden Planks. Without the trait, they can be used to reduce the crafting cost (Tip: you can buy Wooden Planks at the same places as the Machete and at Henford's Grocery Stand)

You can now dump trash in a lighted campfire (it can also be drag and dropped directly into it)

🏝️ Beach Treasures

This mod adds a new Lot Challenge called Beach Trash.

When the Beach Trash lot challenge is added, some items will randomly spawn in any terrain made of sand: a Mystery Crate, some dig piles, and if you are lucky some wild animals (requires Horse Ranch and/or Cottage Living)

The Mystery Crate will contain random loots, including useful objects, ressources like food or crafting materials and other surprises.

When a wild animal is spawned, you don't own it. You need to build a little friendship to make it your own (using the Adopt interaction under Actions).

You can now get some Bits and Pieces when Beach Combing for Trash or using Scavenge for Parts on a trash pile.

🤳 Phone Battery

When the Off the Grid challenge is added to a lot, you will now need to recharge your phone to be able to use it.

With the Off the Grid lot challenge, a new self-interaction is added allowing your Sim to Recharge their Phone, and showing the battery percentage left.

Recharging their phone requires 3 units of Power (or can be done for free in another lot without the lot trait). The battery lasts for around 2 days.

When the battery level is at 0%, phone interactions cannot be used.

Required: Eco Lifestyle and XML Injector

Special thanks to Frankk for their script allowing to disable the phone without overriding stuff.

🎨 Dye Creation and Wool Dyeing

With this mod, you are now able to create Dyes on a grill and use this Dye to change the color of wool.

A new interaction for wool (in the world or your inventory) to change its color using Eco Lifestyle dyes. Some colors require a combination of two different dyes.

A new interaction for wool (in the world or your inventory) to Create a Yarn Basket (requires Nifty Knitting) using 5 units of Wool.

It's now possible to craft Dye on a grill using the Herbalism skill (requires Outdoor Retreat). Each recipe requires two ingredients and some colors are unlocked at level 2. Animations show the right ingredient being used!

🐠 Campfire Food Replacement

This mods alters the food originally created using the campfire with Outdoor Retreat:

The food will now use a wooden plate that fits better with the surrounding environment. Sims will use chopsticks to eat it instead of a regular fork.

The Grilled Beetle meal was replaced by Grilled Fruits making it more versatile (as Beetles used for the recipe could only be found in Granite Falls)

🚿 Shower at Sink

This mod allows Sims to use sinks to perform a quick wash.

You can now the Clean Self interaction at a sink. It used less water than a regular shower, but won't raise Hygiene to the max. The interaction is not available is the Sim Hygiene level is high enough.

Sims won't autonomously do it if a shower or a bathtub is present on the lot (except for Slobs, Freegans and sims with Bad Manners) and it provides a tense buff for most of them.

Required: Seasons (as I use the shower in rain animation as a base) and Lot51 Core Library

There's no things like *ex-soldier* for those who experienced war in action. It's one way ticket into the irreversible change of your personality. Once a military Tom Holden moved into the sleepy Willow Creek to rediscover himself in the reality of peaceful life.

Still feeling a bit out of the social life, Tom became interested in photography and outdoor activities.

He might seem a grim guy of few words as Tom hates small talks, but those who managed to know him better found in Tom a loyal friend and interesting interlocutor.

Make the bed Mod | SMALL MODS

Hey, everyone! I Want to share with You my new mod. This is a small mod that will let your sim make their bed:

How does it work:

You will find the new interaction on any double bed. (This is just a double bed interaction since the animations are made on them.) it will not work on single beds.

Also, this is just a left-side interaction. If your bed is the other way around, it would not work. i know this isn't the best solution but the animation are highly detailed and it won't work if i just flipped them to the other side. I will need to make new ones for that, and i wasn't able to do that with the big gift updates that I am actually working on

Your sim will get some Positive moodlets with a happy buff;

How to install :

Just put both my mod and the XML injector script into your Sims 4 Mods folder.

EXPANDED FOOT SIZE SLIDERS

Greetings. This is an upgraded version of my previous slider which increases the maximum size of feet you can get for your male sims inside The Sims 4. The slider range is quite large so you have the freedom to go outside the bounds of realism. I recommended using both sliders together to provide an ideal balance.
