✨ Update October 2020: It’s been ages since I worked on these lovelies so I’ve updated my original post from last year with some new ones I haven’t posted before! ✨

“Just swish and flick"

Something silly I made while playing around with Procreate’s animation feature. Maybe I’ll finish it one day. I like to imagine this as Hermione’s first attempts at magic before going to Hogwarts. That’s why, you know, she studies a lot from then on. Or something. Did I just write fan fiction?

Frying pans! Who knew, right?

This is the result of quite a bit of experimentation with different styles and techniques. I think I learned a lot about colors and lighting through trial and error with this one, and I think the final piece doesn’t look half bad in the end!

I encourage any other artists to also step outside their own comfort zones and see what you can do. it’s incredibly satisfying to see yourself improve through the learning experience, and discover what you might not have realized you were capable of. I’m looking forward to continuing to improve my skills, and hope to make more like this!

I based this mostly off of a scene from the the mid-2000s Ultimate Spider-man video game, which I realize won't gain much nostalgia appeal for most, but I've held quite the soft spot for it nonetheless. I’d highly reccomend checking it out if you’re in the mood for a good Spidy game. Maybe while we all wait for the Insomniac game ;)

Couple No. 5 is Rapunzel and Flynn. This movie is just so pretty, I love it! ♥ Really really REALLY hoping the series ends up being good. It’ll be nice to hear the same voices and some new music.

And yes, I am horrible with keeping a schedule. This much is obvious. But we are slooowly going to finish this thing, I swear. If anything, we'll at least get 14 couples in total.
