Summary: Every year, courting season follows a strict schedule. Castiel might appreciate the routine, but he’s hardly looking forward to facing it. Now at an age where it’s obligatory to get at least one year’s attendance under his belt, Castiel and his fraternal twin brother embark on their first series of courting season events. They span an entire month in the spring, dominating the weekends. Starting with three days allowing Alphas to showcase themselves, followed by two days that allow Omegas to do the same. The third and final weekend culminates in a single event: the Chase.Castiel intends to just go through the motions, but gets swept up in it all. That’s the point of all this after all, to tap into their instincts, forge some sort of connection before the Alphas are turned loose on them. Something made abundantly clear when his offerings for their Bakeoff are blatantly vandalized. As dangerously inept he can be in the kitchen, despite all efforts to the contrary, at least there’s one thing he can get right. Pies are nothing special, why he made cobblers the first time, but at least he won’t have an empty booth to offer them. Surely someone won’t mind painfully mundane apple pies, right?

It had been just a little nudge, really, hardly anything at all. Now, back in Heaven, he just needed to sit tight and see how things played out. Except when had Dean ever been any good at waiting? Or, Dean heads back to The Winchesters' universe to check on his parents and their friends, but multiverse hopping is complicated and he lands there to find that over twenty years have passed and, although he's relieved to find that everything turned out well, some things turned out much differently than he could have ever imagined.

Summary:

It seemed just like any other job. Saving people. Hunting things… you know the story. But when Team Free comes face to face with the creature that’s taking these men, Dean’s life gets figuratively and literally flipped upside down. As if life wasn’t complicated enough already for the eldest Winchester, he now has to deal with the aftermath of this ‘unbreakable curse’ that will have him see out the rest of his life… as a woman.

There was still a truckload of unresolved crap between him and Castiel. After his ‘L word’ confession in the dungeon, his return resurfaced all those stewing emotions that Dean tried so hard to push back (or at least, he thought he had). Then on top of that, there was the heavy load of guilt he felt, courtesy of his dumb mistake that cost Castiel his angelic powers. And now, he has to deal with breasts?! “Well, ain’t life just peachy!”

While Sam and Castiel work tirelessly to find a cure to revert him back to normal, Dean seems to be finding himself in more ways than one. He’s getting too old for this, maybe retiring from the hunting game isn’t such a bad idea after all.
