Honestly, I started to draw them from their panels first, until I got a feel of how to do it myself. Even now I get a reference from the series if the pose is difficult or its something I havent drawn often.

A while back I did requests for characters and I'd draw them in BH6 style, which waspuerly for practice. And no, I havent worked on the show! I wish I was that lucky!

Grinch!Varian AU

In this one, Varian is an alchemist exiled from Whoville for illegal experimentation, so he lives on the mountain overlooking the town (where he can practice his science in peace) with his pet raccoon Ruddiger. He can’t stand all the noise they make with their endless array of celebrations and festivals, but what he hates most of all is Christmas. 

‘Punzy Lou Who is the daughter of the Mayor, and just about the sweetest ray of sunshine in town. She’s also one of the few who believe that there is some good inside the hermit alchemist.

But my co-worker gifted me this for my cats and getting to see my ginger cat in his gingerbread cat house as soon as I got home was a treat lol
