My favorite fact about Jax huh? This is certainly a difficult thing to answer. I suppose one of my favorite things about Jax is that he's so involved in all of my other characters' stories. He's.. Everything I've ever wanted to be honestly.

So, Jax and I share a birthday! Jax would be an Aquarius, as i believe the 29th of the first month is on the cusp a bit. As for the traits that define his sign, I don't think he follows any trait other than being very easy to get along with. Of course I don't particularly know any other aquarius stereotypes xc

"Who I take advice from? Well, my mother tends to be tye best one to ask for advice, although Duncan is pretty smart too." He chuckles. "Who I don't take advice from is a completely different story. There aren't many people I don't particularly mistrust. But if there's somebody I wouldn't take an ounce of their words as truth, it'd have to be... This mysterious guy who apparently wants me dead."

FFXIV Scam alert

Hey, so, if you get a /tell that goes:

“750M Gil Giveaway Starting in 15Mins! Search for Gil722 On YouTube Then Trade Me To Collect Your 5M Gil Entry Prize!”

It is, in fact a scam. The name could be different, the method too maybe but: It’ll take you to a youtube link, with another link linked in a pinned comment that will, from what you can tell, look a like a legit ffxiv forum link. Login page looks the same as always, except when you enter your info, it’ll look like it didn’t go through and just refresh.

If you enter it, you will be disconnected from the internet within minutes or less. When you log in next, you will be standing in Rhalgar’s Reach and your gil count will look like this:

If this happens to you, you need to:

change your pasword, stat

contact SE via their support center

contact a GM online via ticket, just in case they used your account to continue the scheme.

How do I know this? Because it happened to me. It robbed me of 5 years of hard earned savings and housing dreams. Worse than that though, they cleaned @luckysparrowffxiv​ ‘s fc chest too through me. That means they took years of donations of the community that sustained the fc. Personal accounts can be rerolled but FC chests cannot be. I asked.

I’m usually extremely careful. I’ve never fallen for any of these. I examined the link and it legit looked like something linking to a ffxiv forum. But. I clicked just to see what in the world would spawn such a giveaway, not even to enter it cause… who in the world would need that amount of gil. Alas. I clicked, I fucked up. And so, I vowed to repay everything the FC lost if and when my account can be rolled back or, if it won’t be, I’ll farm it back asap to not let other people be found lacking for my lapse of judgement.

But please, let my experience be a lesson no one else needs to learn on their own skin. Share this, don’t let innocent people become victims of these scammers. Thank you.

Holiday Giveaway

Saw this type of giveaway and I thought it was a pretty neat thing and nice for the RP community. 

Bits of this fun style of art here? Yes, I can do three! But the caveat for this giveaway: You get to give it to another person! I’m feeling very much in the giving spirit lately, so I decided this would be a fun time to run a giveaway! The winner will receive a custom bust portrait of the character of their choice.

But wait, there’s a catch…

You can’t win this for yourself. 

In order to enter, you must reblog and tag someone else you wish to nominate for an entry. Maybe there’s that mutual who’s always liking and reblogging your work with super sweet tags, or maybe someone surprised you with a fic or a piece of art recently and you’d like to do something kind in return. Or maybe you just know of someone who could use a little extra cheer this month. This is your chance to share some fandom love with them!

Rules:

1 reblog = 1 entry. For the purposes of this giveaway, likes will not count as entries. (Because you can’t tag someone in a like.)

(Piercings and tattoos are welcome as long as they aren’t super intricate.)

Humans, elves, qunari, dwarves, goblins, tieflings, etc. are all on the table!

What I won’t draw this time:

Mech and/or furry characters. I’m just not great at them, TBH.

Complicated outfits/armor. The finished piece will be a bust, so I’ll do whatever is visible from the shoulders up if you want clothing and jewelry included, but it should be fairly simple.

Animals. They take more time, and I need more practice at them to really feel good about doing them for other people.
