Oof I need some kind of Cinderella AU starring Gi-hun... With a twist of course.

Maybe there are no evil stepsisters or stepmother in this, but loan sharks who have Gi-hun around as an indentured servant. As a way to pay off his debt. Every morning Gi-hun has tons of chores and housework to do, from laundry to kitchen duties. He wonders what life outside the four walls he is trapped in is like.

The loan sharks get to hear about some hotshot investor who is going to attend a banquet near their area. Maybe if they'll clean themselves up all nice, they can enter and be able to ask him for some money, so they can buy more "resources" (guns... and goons...). Gi-hun is left alone in the house while they're all gone, suddenly there is a knock on the door and he's greeted with an elderly lady named Geum-ja.

She can be the fairy godmother in this... bippity boppity boo and Gi-hun is wearing the most etheral looking suit. Or if there is no magic involved, she would appear with a pair of clothes that will definitely fit. Her son Young-sik works for a big company and will attend the banquet as well, and it turns out he did have an extra outfit in the closet just in case he didn't like the current one he is wearing lol. With no loan sharks lurking around for the entire day she thought she'd talk to Gi-hun and encourage him to go out there. Experience the world! She always wanted to tell him this, and tonight was a good opportunity to do so. Young-sik has been given the important task by Geum-ja to drive Gi-hun to the event or else she's be cursing him for eternity. Always help others, Young-sik!

Of course the investor is Hwang In-ho. He is unimpressed by everyone at the event. People and their fakeness, treating him like he is some kind of ATM machine. He stops in his tracks when he sees a good-looking figure in the corner fidgeting around shyly. Wearing a fabulous outfit, he was breathtaking, looking elegant, the highlight of Inho's dull evening. He wasn't like all the other uptight weirdos in this banquet. Is this... love at first sight?

Gi-hun still has to run when the clock strikes 12, before the loan sharks come back home. He doesn't have the time to tell In-ho his name and quickly makes his way out, losing his shoe... Just like in the fairytale!  (   T _ T) 🩵🩵

gihun's suit is like a pearly white color, very pretty on him but he's scared to ruin it so he's very careful. yongsik's shoes are a little large on him so he walks slowly, meaning that when inho seems him from across the room heading to the balcony for air, he can easily follow him there.

maybe, they even have a dance and gihun feels human for the first time in years.

inho starts looking all over the city for the man who enchanted him so.....
