I went to the #Pottery Market called “Gojō Wákámíyá Pottery Festival ‘23” (last year) in Kyoto. I like traditional Japanese potteries, especially Hákémé.
Although I sometimes choose modernized Japanese ones as well. lol I have been looking forward to go to The Gojō Wákamiya Pottery Festival, since 2020, as you are able get good quality potteries in lower price than usual and you are able to talk to the artists of the potteries in person.
However, due to the **ndemic of **VID-1*, the Original pottery market, called “Pottery Festival of Gojō-Zaka” was cancelled in ‘20, and ‘21.
Therefore, sadly the original organizer of the pottery market called “Tōki-Matsuri-Jikkō-Iinkái” / “Pottery Festival Executive Committee” which had a long history was dissolved and a new one called “Gojō-Wákamiya-Tōki-Matsuri-Jikkō-Iinkái” / “Gojō Wakamiya Pottery Festival Executive Committee” was established.
Check it out on YouTube, and don't forget to subscribe to Japan Gourmet Channel. Thanks!
