The key to success
I have always been questioning about every classes. There are so many negative thoughts from me toward the way professors educate me. I often think that I’m not good at writing and I need someone to guide me. The question is why don’t teachers walk me through them step by step. However, JM310 class has completely changed my mind. After I finished this class, I realized that practice is the key to success.
JM310 is a class which has the most workload in Junior year. Times and efforts you have put to this course are more than all works from every courses in one semester combined together. But, if I compared myself today and before I attended this class. I could say that I have improved myself a lot.
In the end, hard work pays off for those who actually do something.
JM310, a class that all students have to follow many rules. To be honest, there are too many rules in this class and they create uncomfortable environment among students. Apart from the freedom that Thammasat university students should have, this class is somewhat a good example for other classes to follow.
Rules are what make society unite in the same order. And university is a suitable place for students to practice before facing them in the future. All classes should have a common rule that will benefit students when they have to be in the grown-up society like punctuality rule.
“Only one minute late is not acceptable,” said Mr. Bruce, the JM310 professor, on the first day of the course.
Thai people still lack of punctuality, and this issue should be considered more and more. Not only professors but students also are capable of shaping our society to become a better place. There are some classes where professors come to class late, but those cases never happen to Mr, Bruce class. He wants students to never break those rules and he is a good example for students to follow.
JM310, a class where I have learned many things from writing knowledge to how to be a good citizen. Mr. Bruce doesn’t only educate students to be a good writer. He also persuaded us to be a straightforward person in the society. To encourage us to report those wrongdoings is to remind students that they have the rights to do so. It is something that I have never thought that I would do. But this class gave me the opportunities to actually help changing our society.
Unfortunately, Thailand is still a developing country. Our complains are not very effective. But I hope that someday people will find that rules do matter. And our complains might eventually be effective.
One thing I keep reminding myself is not to blame the society. We are the society. So, by changing ourselves and following rules can make it a better place.

They specialize in both shabu and sushi but the dessert is also a very good quality. Moreover, they include refill drinks in the buffet. Shabu, for the meat, they have a beef and pork. You can choose 2 out of 3 soups that they provide. I was impress with they vegetable and other fish ball that you can go pick up by yourself at the vegetable bar. It is a rental space for retailers as well as exhibition and co-working spaces. The owner wanted to built a place that can coexist in peace with nature and life. Not many people would hesitate to cut down the tall trees to clear the way for an even taller building. But Sabhat Rakitawan, co-founder of the Naiipa Art Complex project, couldn't find it in his heart to tear down trees that his grandparents planted on his family's land on Sukhumvit 46 decades ago. So he recruited architect Chanasit Cholasuek to help bring out his conceptual idea of creating an art complex. If you want to take a photo with DSLR or Mirrorless camera, you have to ask for the permission from the office first, for the privacy of this building.
HOW TO GET THERE?
There are many ways to get there but the most convenient way is to take a BTS to Phra Khanong station. Naiipa Art complex is located in Sukhumvit Soi 46 which are 5 minutes walk from BTS. Another way is to drive there or to take a bus or taxi. I recommend the BTS because it is very fast and you don't have to deal with all the traffic.
WHAT TO DO?
There is not much to do in Naiipa Art Complex because it does not fully open yet. But you can enjoy the peace and appreciate the nature in this building. It is like a hidden forest for an urban people like us who live in the city and don't surrounded by the nature. So you can breath in a lot of fresh air in your lung because there is not so much place that have this environment. But there is a cafe that you can go visit and enjoy natural working space.
WHAT TO EAT?
Inside Naiipa Art Complex, there is one cafe that is very popular among working people, Li-bra-ry. It has many branches around Bangkok and Naiipa Art Complex is the latest branch that they have launched. It is a nice cafe to work. It also has amazing coffee and drink. The signature menu is Li-bra-ry waffle. Nothing is better than a nice drink when you are working and also surround yourself with the nature.

Ayutthaya - Night Time
-NIGHTTIME-
Hi everyone and welcome to my blog! For last week, I have mentioned Ayutthaya in day time. We will stick to Ayutthaya again for this week. I would like to introduce everyone to another aspect of Ayutthaya. Have you ever wondered what Ayutthaya looks like in the night time? There are some occasional for Buddhism to pray at night. So, people are not often see the temple at night and if they are attend to the religious ceremony, they don't alway wander around the temple because they would focus on the ceremony. Today I will take you along with me to experience Ayutthaya in night time. Please stay tuned and keep on reading!:)
WHERE TO GO?
I attended to Magha Puja Day ceremony, so I had an opportunity to wander around the ancient creature in the temple. Magha Puja Day is one of the most important Buddhist celebrations which falls on the full moon day of the third lunar month (about last week of February or early of March). This day marks the great events that took place during Lord Buddha's lifetime when 1250 Buddhist monks from different places came to pay homage to Lord Buddha at Valuwan Vihara in Rajgaha, the capital of Magaha State, each of his own initiative and without prior notification or appointment.
Wat Mongkhon Bophit is where I did a ceremony at night to cerebrate Magha Puja Day. Wat Mongkhon Bophit is a place where a big Buddha image “Phra Mongkhon Bophit” is situated. The temple reflects the power of religious belief on Thai social and political ideal, and also witnesses on Ayutthaya people’s knowledge in casting metal into various forms, especially casting archaic into Buddha images.
HOW TO GET THERE?
There are many ways to go to Ayutthaya. The easiest way to get there is to drive because it takes around 30-40 minutes to drive from our Thammasart University. I suggest everyone to drive because it is more convenient at night. The most important thing is the safety, it is better to have your own car than to trust public transportation.
WHAT TO DO?
Magha Puja Day is declared as a public holiday so that people from all walks of life can go to the temple to make merit and perform other religious activities in the morning and to take part in the candlelit procession or Wien Tien in Thai in the evening. I recommended everyone to go to Wat Mongkhon Bophit because it is very old and unique temple. So, you can experience the temple the way that not a lot of people can do.
WHAT TO EAT?
In this temple, there is a market called Talat Wang Boran. Boran is known as ancient in English. So this market has many kind of food you can imagine. There is one sweet that I always get when I go to Ayutthaya, Rotee Saimai. Ayutthaya is well known for there Rotee Saimai and it is one of my favorite dessert. I guarantee that everyone will like this sweet.

Most of Thais are Buddhism which means that temples are the important places for our religions. Temple are known to be peaceful place. It will make people who go there have a very clear mind, calm and also relieve all of their stress that they got during the work time.
WHERE TO GO?
I would like to introduce everyone to a very interesting province, Ayutthaya. Ayutthaya was our kingdom which stayed in the longest period comparing to other kingdom in Thailand. So, it is known to be a historical province where it has many ancient temple that people can learn history from and experience the beautifulness of our old kingdom.
If I ever have chance to go to Ayutthaya, I will put Wat Yai chai Mongkhon on my top lists. Wat Yai Chai Mongkhon or the Great Monastery of Auspicious Victory is located off the city island in the southeastern area of Ayutthaya in present Phai Ling Sub-district. In the year 1357 two princes of Ayutthaya, Chao Kaeo and Chao Thai, died of cholera. King Ramathibodhi I ordered the bodies of both princes to be exhumed and at the cremation site, a monastery with a holy monument (stupa) and a preaching hall (viharn), be established. He gave the monastery the name "Wat Pa Kaeo" or the Monastery of the Crystal Forest.
HOW TO GET THERE?
There are many ways to go to Ayutthaya. The easiest way to get there is to drive because it takes around 30-40 minutes to drive from our Thammasart University and the good things from driving is you can wander around easily. The second way is to take a public bus or van to get there. After that you can buy a one-day tour or rent a car. Lastly, the train is also an option for you.
WHAT TO DO?
This temple is very huge and surrounded by a lot of trees. It is a very peaceful place to pray and to rest at the same time. You can learn history by walking around and observe all the old buildings that our ancestors have built.
WHAT TO EAT?
If I have to choose one restaurant in Ayutthaya, TonNam River View restaurant is for sure in my list. This restaurant is located near river and it offers Thai food. River prawn is easily to find in this areas so this restaurant is well-known for a fresh river prawn. All the food in this restaurant is very good but if you have a chance to go there, I recommend you to have a river prawn because it is soooooooo good.

Getting tired of city life? Now a days, people work hard everyday, not only a business people but also a student like us who study a lot on weekdays. They get a lot of stress from the work during the week. In order to relieve their stress, sometimes they need to explore the world in different places to get away from it all.

The first place that I would like to introduce to you is BANGKAJAO (บางกะเจ้า). It is located in Samutprakarn provience which is not far from Bangkok. Bangkajao surrounded by a lot of tree and a lot fresh air to breath in. Those are the things that are not easy to find in the crowded city. HOW TO GET THERE?
There are two ways to go to Bangkajao. First, to take a boat ride, you have to take the BTS to Bangna station and then take a taxi to BangnaNork Temple. In the temple, there is a boat which take you across the Chaopraya River and your destination is there. The other way is to drive there, you have to drive across the Bhumibol Bridge and follow the Suksawud signs that will lead you to your destination.

There is a place call Baan Toop Horm where they offer a lesson of how to make Tie dye clothes. They will teach you step by step.
