After 2 years in my draft...

I was on my limit last week, thoroughly annoyed on what happened.

But then, God shows how He can turn sadness into praise.

‪In work, we have this quote, "Monday is a whole week".‬

I was so busy answering client’s request and queries, then my boss tapped me and invited me to join her in her lunch.

‪At first, I’m a bit hesitant. I’m not on my best, I feel sick. ‬

But then, she said, do you want to eat soup? (On which I badly needed because of this discomfort am feeling. 😷🤧)‪ Over lunch, she shares stories about our company and the people beyond it.‬ She raised topics I’ve never expected she will share. I’m overwhelmed on what I heard and awed at the same time.

‪And, she expressed gratitude over my work for being flexible and efficient. Also, very sorry for add hook work loads.‬

*it breaks my heart*

‪Then she said, “You must not live on someone else’s critics or compliments because if you will, you will overlook to what is front of you - a true beauty.” And, “Every hard work will pay off. We believe on you, Jane.”‬

‪God rescued me immediately and help me to stand again. And reminded me, my worth will never be tag along with my work, to what other people will say to me, and to what society will throw at me. 

‪Adulthood is exhausting, that’s why we need Jesus every day of our lives. This season might be painful and heavy but God can create beauty and purpose on the hassle.

- 6 SEPT 2021, after more than 2 years in my draft here now sharing here haha. It’s good to visit draft post sometimes lol. Well, I almost forgot that this happened pala in the past. Hihi.
