Hey folks! Jane here, lets just fast forward to 8 months! Yes, that is in FACT New York City skyline view from Brooklyn. My new home, CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?! After being quite unhappy for sometime, I realized, “life is too damn short to be unhappy”. Boom! Like lightning bolt zapped through my head. I unfortunately had to quit the job I had absolutely loved. But hey, with sacrifice comes reward right? And that is exactly what happened. Endured one of the most challenging tasks I had go through. Succeeded and packed my whole life in two huge suitcases to a city I have never been to. Scary right? To be honest, not really. All it took was some courage and support. If you had told me a year ago that I’d be living in New York, in a glass covered apartment with killer view of the city on the 14th floor, and traveling the world..... Id think you are absolutely NUTS. Well, here I am!

No words can express about how happy I am that I finally put this little clothes project of mine up! Been lagging on this for months! Ive seen this often on blogs, websites, and Instagram. Ive been roaming around the internet for a good decent priced clothing rack. I was not about to go over $50 dollars just so I could hang up a few of my clothing. VOILA! I bumped into my favorite place ever, Ikea! This sweet baby of mine is just a whopping $10! Yep, that's right! It also comes in two colors. I chose black because we all know that my room is filled strictly black. It feels pretty darn cool waking up, getting ready for work and just yaaaa know, choosing your clothes on the rack. As if someone has prepared it for me, haha! I also love the convencience of just putting up outfits all together. And how I can just get super creative with the color palette of my clothes. Depending on of course, my mood and the season! Now about the rack, its sturdy and it comes in this glossy black color. Pretty simple. Make sure to screw on the screws super tight so it wouldn't be so wobbly. Ahhh, yay!

Well, hello there lighter hair! After months and months of contemplating, I finally grew some and said “screw it! Let’s go lighter, and chop it all off!”. And hey, why not! It would be absolutely perfect for the summer. I have never ever dyed my whole head before, only dyeing I have ever done was an ombré effect towards the bottom of my hair. So my hair was somewhat virgin. One of the scariest thoughts of going lighter was that it might not quite match my skin tone. I’m tan, fair skinned girl. Although 80% of my friends begged me to not do it, I still did (sorry guys!). I'm at a point in my life where I needed something refreshing, something new and exciting. So here I am, hello summer!
Thank you to my hairstylist Leslie of Paul Mitchell in Sherman Oaks.

I have been such an avid fan of The 1975 ever since they have released their self titled EP in 2013. I remember clearly listening to that album every single day. I must have known every single line to every single song. When I get obsessed w/ an album, I will listen to it for months! Fell out of it for a bit UNTIL a few years later they released "i like it when you sleep, for you are so beautiful yet so unaware of it". Yes, that is the name of the album which is a quote from the front man himself, Matt Healy. Hands down one of my favorite album titles of all time. I read this quote for the first time in a music blog (don't really remember which!) but fell in love. Such a simple, yet captivating words to describe someone. It just has this dream like feel to it. The past few weeks I have been so anxious because Spotify released it late (and no, I don't like buying from iTunes) so I waited! Right when it came out, first thing I did was download the audio cd. This band just exactly know what they're doing.

How to make: Tofu salad
This is super simple to make and SO sooo good.
Okay so you'll need:
Tofu (you can find them nearly almost everywhere, but I do recommend Asian grocery stores!)
Cilantro
Garlic chives
Lemon
Salt  & pepper
Sesame seed oil
-first off, cut the tofu into cubes. Cut up enough for your own like.
-Then, chop up your garlic chives starting from the bottom up. Make sure you cut it up into tiny little pieces. Chop it up along with the cilantro, and of course tiny pieces as well.
-Put them into a bowl together
-Now, the amount of sesame seed oil will depend on how much of the salad you want to make. I made mine as a serving for 4 people (not the picture above), so I put 4 tablespoons of sesame seed oil.
-Squeeze about 2 halves of lemon.
-Lastly, sprinkle a hint of salt & pepper and just adjust to whatever you like.
ENJOY! xo

Tips on decorating your room!
First of all, there is absolutely no rule when it comes to decorating your room. Whatever you love, makes you feel comfortable, makes you happy, and shows your personality  in a room is what counts. Growing up, Ive gone through a lot of phases when it comes to decorating my own room. I went through the whole nothing but pictures on the walls in HS. Ive always loved the idea of just hanging pictures of my friends and family. When I was 10, I always hung pictures of me and my friends around my bunk bed. And yes, the Chuck E. Cheese’s drawing photo booth pictures hung too ;) And of course, the whole Paris themed room (I know, so cheesy) but I grew out of that.  When I started to decorate my new & bigger room, I first came up with
  1) Colors! That I wanted for my room. I knew I didnt want something too flashy, or dramatic. And as my personality, Im a very black and white person (Im the same with clothes). I know, Im so boring right? I chose black and white not only because theyre favorite colors, but because its just very plain and simple and not too overwhelming to the eyes. Hence, black and white is very classy.
  2) Walls! I had huge amount of wall space in my room. My walls are painted white! So thank goodness for that, phew! As mentioned at the top, Ive always loved hanging pictures on the walls. Can be silly pictures of me and my friends, family pictures, photo booth pictures ANYTHING!
  3) Photo frames! I knew the photo frames were gonna be the MAIN decoration in my room. Through out the months, (even now) I buy frames I see literally, anywhere. It really honestly doesnt have to be over the top expensive frames. I got most of mine from garage sales, tiny boutique shops, Ikea, Goodwill, my mom’s old frames ANYWHERE. Some I even got as different colors, so I painted them black. I got this whole idea of different sized frames hanging from a family I used to baby sit years ago. Their wall has inspired me! So Robyn, if youre reading this…. THANK YOU! Haha! Originally, I wanted black and white frames to be hung,  But I felt like it was a bit too much, and you can barely see the white frames on white walls. So I stuck with black.
  4) Placing frames on the walls! This one was a tough one. Cause Im such a perfectionist. Since my frames are all different sized its tough to coordinate them into one huge wall. Trust me, I stood there for hours trying to figure it out. Place them however you want at first, and as time goes on… youll eventually re hang them over and over again UNTIL its perfect. Try not to put them all smashed right next to each other. Leave space in between them, and make them look EQUAL on both sides. I honestly didnt measure walls, how many inches, blah blah blah and all that drama. I just eyeballed it! I would just put a tack and hang the frame. Simple as that. Thank god, my walls doesnt leave a mark when I would untack. And dont use a HUGE nail to hang one simple frame. Sometimes a tiny tack would do the job :)
5) Accents My bed

So the past 2 weeks, I have been in training for clinicals for my school. I cant help but notice this store across the street. Yesterday, I actually went right after training. I was greeted by a nice lady in the front desk. So, to get to the bottom of it.... this is Style de Vie they are located in Beverly Boulevard here in Los Angeles. I walk in and I was merely fascinated. Their store mainly specializes in upscale design and fabrication.

So many of you know, I am completely obsessed with sunnies! Not to mention very picky with the shape, size etc. So! I completely fell in love with the Karen Walker sunglasses, so why not find a KW inspired sunnies for an inexpensive price just to try it out! So I go to my favorite site ever, Amazon. And I bumped into this piece of gem. I ordered it, and it only took about a week to come (assuming it came here from the US). It came in a brown package and it even had a little cute sunglasses tiny bag. Shape wise, its perfect. The lens is pretty big, so if you like sunglasses that are big, this is for ya! This is seriously perfect for the summer! Highly recommend you to buy it, for the exact link of the product, send me a message!
