Their Story

How did you meet?

“We met through EHarmony. Our first date was Starbucks. It was love at first sight and we both felt like we had met our husband/wife. “

How did he propose?

“It was so sweet! We went to Pennsylvania for a weekend and had gone to church on Sunday and then sushi. After lunch, Luke asked me if I wanted Starbucks, and I really didn't but I said ok. While we were in the parking lot, Luke proposed. In his car and just us. It was perfect and low key and special.”

What makes you unique, either as a couple or individually?

We love dogs.  We also like to travel when time/money permits. And we love trying different food/restaurants." Luke is very intelligent and has a love for the Simpsons, Legos, and building things, he's currently trying to learn wood working.  Krystal is highly creative and this can be seen from her love of makeup to her past as a cosplayer and belly dancer/ burlesque dancer.

Why did you to pick your St Philip Neri and Southern Charm Events?

We picked St Philip Neri as this is the church that Krystal went through her RCIA and made her baptism, first communion, and confirmation.

We picked Southern Charm Events for our reception because of how beautiful it is and all of the chandeliers. It's classy but very sassy.

In the midst of all the excitement of my son's birth this weekend, I also shot most of a wedding on Saturday. Lucia and Sean were very gracious and understanding when I had to leave early during their reception to make it to the hospital in time. Grayson's original due date was July 6th, but I guess he decided he wanted to share his birthday with their anniversary. Many thanks to Jason E.
