Summer of ‘20

Did I ever tell you about the summer of ‘20 and Covid?  Well it was a Hoot!!

Early March, I was planning a summer trip.  I wanted to go see my sister and her family in California, and I bought a trailer for my ‘cycle and planned a trip there stopping by Sturgis, South Dakota for the Biker Rally.  I had been there in ‘92 on my way to Illinois from my summer job at the Santa Fe Opera and I always wanted to go back but this time with a little loose coin in my pocket.  I’m gonna go to Sturgis, ride my hopped up Sportster around the Black Hills, have some fun, buy some souveneirs, and go on to San Jose, Cali,  and go Sport Fishing with my sister and her kids.  But then, Covid came along.

March 13, 2020, everything stopped cold in it’s tracks.
