kinda just a weird coincidence that Envy Adams looks like Misa from Death Note in the Scott Pilgrim movie.
Her hair in the comic was actually inspired by Asuka from Evangelion. (I used to draw Eva characters aaaallllll the time in high school)
In the movie they made her blonde and she looked just like Misa (admittedly) but I don’t think anyone intended it.
Death Note wasn’t even coming out in english until i was already on volume 3 of scott pilgrim… I never saw the similarity when I was reading it. ps Misa suuuuuuuuuuuucks as a character ha ha ha
