As hp season approaches I want to remind everyone that watching the movies on Netflix does support jkr.

Pirate the movies. Please. Buy them second-hand. We can't give her our money and support-she's flat out said that any money she makes (which is Harry Potter, let's be real) will be going towards funding anti-trans laws etc. The recent supreme court ruling in the UK had a HUGE donation from her, £70,000 to be exact. 70K. Towards the alienation, exclusion and fueling of negative stigmas towards trans people.

But, that doesn't just affect trans people. It affects any cis woman that doesn't 'look' like a woman. It affects masculine women, women with facial hair and deep voices. This is not to protect women and children, this is to supress trans people. Men can walk into the womens' bathrooms and do whatever they want. They do it anyway. No one is going to pretend to be trans-go through years of medical ans social transition, be treated like the scum of the earth just to peep into womens' bathrooms. This is a war on the trans community and we need to cut any and all support with jkr. Please. I'm begging.

Donate to trans-inclusive and lgbtq+ supportive charities if you can, and if you can't, share. Spread awarensss that this is happening in real time. Buy your hp/marauders merch secondhand OR, even better, support small businesses! Make your own!
